Woman at the “customer service “ help desk was very unprofessional, was not using any customer service skills, if she has any. Made me feel as though I was a bother and that she couldn’t help me. I’m very shocked as I would never expect this behavior from a woman of her age or the location, everyone is usually very helpful and happy at Home Depot. She had crutches on so maybe she is in pain and grumpy, either way she should go home and rest or not be at the customer service desk. I hardly ever post reviews, and I’ve worked in customer service my entire life, so I understand the difficulties of the job. She needs to be retrained. Or take a leave, or get more Vicodin from her doctor.Specifics: there was a chandelier on sale for $62, regular $279 (see photo). There weren’t any on the shelf below for me to grab myself, so a gentleman from that area of the store kindly directed me to the “service” desk to get “help” getting the light down as we both assumed it was the last one, hence the sales price. As soon As I got to the customer service desk she was already visibly annoyed and when I told her what I needed, she sighed very heavily, rolled her eyes looked at her female coworker, and they both smiled at each other. Now, if you’ve ever worked in customer service, you know that this exchange between them was an obvious sign of their annoyance at my request, I instantly felt belittled, stupid like I was asking them for 1 million dollars. She hobbled over to the phone, called somebody else and put him on speakerphone. She said this “lady wants us to get a chandelier down because there’s no more for sale”. He then says “we can’t sell display items as it may be a liability”, and her tone of voice completely changed. She perked right up and confirmed my assumption that she didn’t want to assist me and said “OK thanks so much that’s great!” and hung up the phone. She didn’t look at me, she didn’t explain to me what he said, or why he was saying it, and I walked away. I tried to call and speak to the manager, and I believe the same woman answered the phone, she demanded to know who I was, and why I was calling and would not transfer me unless I gave her that information so I gave her my first name. She put me on hold for four minutes and then hopped on the phone didn’t say hello didn’t ask if I was still there. She just said the manager is busy it’s gonna be a while and then she put me back on hold. She didn’t wait for me to respond, nothing. Again, another really bad customer service skill. This one might seem really small and insignificant, but all of this adds up, especially if that wasn’t the same woman that answered the phone, more than one person at your customer service desk, being the face of Home Depot, answering the phones, helping customers has no customer service and social etiquette. It’s completely unacceptable.She might be having a bad day she might be having a bad life. Either way she needs to be retrained, fired or put in the back of the store. She does not belong at the customer service help desk.The guy who originally helped me was nice as can be. He wasn’t annoyed or rude at all.Please take down items that aren’t for sale and give false hopes to people on a budget that want nice things… Especially in today’s economy!

Home Depot is one of those places where you go in hopeful and you leave. Hoping you got the right stuff. I’m handicapped and I needed some items for shelving. I decided to do a video because I almost fell 3 or four times because somebody had decided to place very heavy mats in that area. I asked for help it took 11 minutes and when the girl came, she stood on top of the pile of gnats which was also dangerous. So I never feel like I’m gonna get the help I need but I think Home Depot needs to realize there are a lot of people with disabilities and need help and to look at where they put their items so that Anyone can shop. Also, they never have electric wheelchairs. The last time I went they just had a wheelchair but I was by myself so that didn’t help me at all. I must admit their customer service desk is hit and miss but if sometimes you hit the lottery.

I bought an affordable broom, and fixed my son's bed. I bought nice plants. It was a great experience overall. Staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would check here first before shopping at other places for the home because of affordable prices, variety of items, and great service.

Shout out to Dave, a manager. He’s helped me twice now. Greeted me, made me feel welcome. Helped me find products and showed me how to use them. As a 68 year old widow, his help is invaluable to me.The Home Depot team, all departments, have always given me excellent service.Their website also offers very helpful videos of how to do projects.

During my visit to this Home Depot, which I hadn't been to before, I was greeted upon entering the store and offered assistance in finding what I came in for. I found it exactly where they said it would be. This store was very clean and had friendly employees every time I came across one. The checkout process was fast as well.

This store has been the LEAST helpful Home Depot I have been to in the 55 years I have lived. I am so upset to call this my local Home Depot I drive an hour and a half to Eugene or have it shipped anytime I need anything anymore. This store is an embarrassment to the customer service industry. If you buy any type of appliance from this Home Depot TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOX BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE I bought SEVERAL broken items from this store and it takes weeks to get them reordered. A broken item should never even be placed on the shelf. When you make a mistake you fix it. It is not my fault you allow several broken items to be placed on your shelves it is your bad customer service and then to not even fix the problem offer money back or ship it faster I just have to wait weeks. Whoever is in charge must not know what customer service is.

Customer service(via phone) at the Roseburg store is pretty much non existant! Getting a human is next to impossible, then they put you on hold and leave for lunch!! I spent over $500 and can't get an answer to my question.They should learn to deal with people spending money in your establishment.

I have come to realize that this area of Oregon has extremely low standards of quality. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could possibly rate this store anything above a 3. This is hands down the absolute WORST Home Depot I've ever had the displeasure of using. They are a bunch of bumbling buffoons, who can't manage to do anything with speed or accuracy, let alone both simultaneously. How people haven't stood up and revolted against the lumber quality here in this area of Oregon is baffling. I'm here to tell you, Roseburg has some of the worst lumber in the entire state, and this Home Depot probably has the worst of them all. Nothing is stocked consistently, shoppers put stuff in the wrong place because they don't care about anyone else, placing an order is literally the biggest joke I've ever experienced, getting my order wrong multiple times, thus delaying my project 3 weeks. Many of the drones here are so useless, it's astounding that people like this can get hired.As aforementioned, their lumber is absolute garbage. Their special order lumber is garbage, but you pay a hefty premium. Suppliers wrap their garbage lumber for some unknown reason, since the lumber is cracked, twisted, or just straight up rotten. This Home Depot is plain awful. Their lumber suppliers are awful. Some of the employees are good at their jobs (Kudos to y'all), but compared to running a small business like I run, it's horribly shameful to see people barely perform at baseline. I could literally do the work of 4 or more of these employees.What the heck happened to pride in your work and work ethic no matter your job? Sad, sad days.

Home Depot practices “Bait and Switch” tactics. We ordered Farm Gates from the Website. They had them in stock and could deliver them the next day. As soon as we clicked on to purchase, the delivery date changed from next day delivery to 2 weeks out. They wouldn’t provide this information until AFTER you paid for them. We can’t wait 2 additional weeks for these gates and now have to cancel the order, because their website doesn’t provide the correct shipping date. Briton was a great help throughout the process. Great employee. Wasn’t his fault YOUR Website doesn’t work correctly.

We were in need of an under the sink instant hot water heater to take the place of the one we had that died.Customer service helped us find the one we needed on their website, and we ordered it within 5 minutes of arrival and were on our way.Service was great. They do have military/veteran discount so we saved some extra cash.Delivery took a little longer than anticipated. Tracked shipment and it went from Washington, past us in Oregon to California, and then back to us in Oregon.Love the instant hot water heater!

Wife and I went in to this THD location looking for a new dishwasher and range for our new home.Cannot say enough about associate,John JC Camp in the appliance dept. He was very knowledgeable about the displayed appliances. He answered all our questions, and was extremely professional.I highly recommend this Home Depot location!!!

The stores alright but who ever decided to put order pick up and returns at the same counter need to be fired.Also while I waited for the 3 people behind the counter to help the one person at the counter they all kept stopping to answer the phone even though there was a long line. And when I finally got to the register to pick up my order I was greeted with the most annoyed cashier ever.

You got to love home Depot! Awesome selection and extremely easy place to shop. Knowledgeable customer service that are always ready to help with any questions you may have. I go here often and can't tell you of a bad experience that I've had. Plus they have an awesome app and sweet rewards system which gives you from $25 to $50 gift cards or $50 to $75 rental credit. once your total purchase amount reaches set intervals.

Forklift operator doesn’t know how to load materials correctly. Tore up the deck of our trailer and then we had to move the load by hand so it was situated properly to go down the road.

It's great! Clean floors than some Home Depots I've been to. Only complaint is when I need help reaching or lifting is I often have to wait 30 or so min in average. Otherwise staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and it's always a good experience.

I loved going to this store.workers were willing to help and it was a pleasant experience. In the last few months though esp this last trip. The young boy in Roseburg Home Depot was called to help load the concrete and all the while he was doing it he muttered something under his breath and then on purpose threw the concrete bag on the rocks to make sure they popped. He was obviously irritated for asking to do his job. Hope they kick him out. He is making the store look bad

I went to buy paint for my dinning room and the lady at the counter immediately asked us if we needed any help or have questions. She was a great help on deciding which paint would be the easiest to cover bright yellow and also what would last longer! Very helpful

This is the worst home depot I've ever seen, terrible, actually zero customer service. I have never bought anything here without some kind if hassle or mix up.
