I’m honestly shocked at the reviews People have left about this Pharmacy. They have always gone above and beyond their job description further clients. Anything other than that out of control. I’ve watched people yell at them scream at them, belittle them because of something that was out of their control. I will forever be a client of how they’ve treated me. I am grateful for everything that they do. They deserve more credit because they’re just amazing.

I tried to transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy, but the original pharmacy said they didn’t receive a transfer request. I called Safeway to tell them, and they couldn’t have cared less. I had to ask them to please send again, but I don’t think they didI gave up and went to Fred Myers.

Good experience with their pharmacy so far. And unfortunately, after many years with albertsons. I have a fresh pass and there are pharmacy. I can never get them to pick app the phone I can call them a 100 times and my dog has seized your meds. I have mirroring a lot of different meds. I am a caregiver. I sell my mom's meds around my profile and if they never answer the phone. Fortunately, I'm going to have to switch everything over to Safeway. Fortunately with my fresh pass. I guess I can just start getting all my groceries and everything from them delivered. It's not too much further away. Albertsons closer, but I'm in a wheelchair. So it's important That I have contact with them before I schedule medical transport to drop me off. Or if they're going to wait, you know, my prescriptions all need to be ready.

Unfortunately there was an emergency yesterday that delayed prescriptions and the pharmacy had closed. I was assured all was good and everyone was okay.I was also assured of receiving a text message no later than an hour after I arrived.That wasn’t in my timeframe because my dad had to be home from therapy.So, I asked them to at least call me when it was filled to talk about a transfer because I don’t live in the area.These were both inconvenient things but we pushed the therapist out and waited anyway.I did not receive a text or call an hour nor any hour later and it was very busy inside so I left, planning to call this morning.I asked about a transfer, got info and when I brought up not receiving a text, Celia said “okay well you have a good day”If something’s wrong with your messaging system whether it be you or the computer, fix it 🤦🏽‍♀️

Extremely long wait times. Each customer has to wait for a consultation from the pharmacist before the next customer can be helped. With one pharmacist on duty, this results in unnecessary wait times. It would be easy to implement a system where the pharmacist gives a consultation at a separate counter after the transaction is complete, but here we are

Absolutely rude disrespectful human’s running the show over there at the pharmacy. I have never had a problem talking to anyone on the phone as I’m a decent person. I was treated like garbage for asking when my prescription would be available since it had been days since it was sent over. I understand frustration in the workplace especially right now, but if I spoke to anyone the way I was spoken to I’d be FIRED! I never raised my voice , or spoke out of line so I don’t know why I was treated so poorly. I don’t write reviews as it’s weird to me , but I have to speak up for everyone to be careful when asking questions at Safeway pharmacy. I would put names out , but I’m not a horrible person.

I called in ahead of time to ask about a covid vaccine. The person on the phone said NOTHING about needing an appointment, I even said great I'll be in tomorrow. I live an hour out of town and time off work. When I got to the pharmacy they said I needed an appointment and were completely unsympathetic. I was I supposed to be psychic and it was my fault for not asking to schedule an appointment when I had no way of knowing I needed an appointment because the pharmacy tech said nothing about needing an appointment.

I have had repeated problems with this pharmacy billing my insurance. About a year ago, they submitted an inhaler I was prescribed to my insurance after telling me they did not have that inhaler in stock. It took them hours to fix the issue & I was unable to get the prescription filled elsewhere because of it. Today, after months of getting psuedogest from them, the insurance rejected it because of the way it was submitted. I had called twice the day before & stopped by to make sure I would be able to pick up my medication, & had been told it would be ready in the morning. I came by after noon & was told it wasn't ready. I ended up having to wait 20 minutes while they figured it out, blaming short staffing. I've been coming there for years & never seen more than 2 to 3 employees there, which was what they had the two days it took to get my medication.As someone who supports fire fighting, I often only have 2 days off. I shouldn't have to spend those two days getting medication.My doctor's office sends them a prescription for 30 days of pills, taking two a day. Yet this pharmacy consistently gives me 30 pills, when I should be receiving 60.I think I will transfer to another pharmacy as the pharmacist, who repeatedly pulled back his mask to speak, suggested.

I showed up there this morning at around 10 only to find out their technician was late for work. I sat in the line a good 10 minutes not being acknowledged. Really poor customer service.

Very poor customer experience. My doctor called around 10.30 AM and I went to pick up my medicine around 11.45 AM. They hadn’t prepared my medicine and said they never got the message, but then checked and found the message. They asked our insurance info and told medicine would be ready in 20 mins. When I come back in exactly 20 mins, they told us to wait in line, which was another 30 mins wait. It’s just incourteous and super impolite to ask someone stand back in line when they haven’t prepared the medicine twice when they should have.

10 + people in line and one maybe two people working the line. There are 4 registers Safeway should have all four open and helping customers. It is ridiculous to have to wait 1 hour in line for a prescription. Safeway closing the Myrtle Creek location was a big mistake and shows Safeway could care less about you or the time you have to wait!What are they going to do when Myrtle Creek opens back up and they have run off there local customer base. I know for myself I will be changing pharmacy

This pharmacy has overcome so much from all the covid issues, other pharmacys closing, staffing issues and long long lines. We hung in there and now can say they have a wonderful staff that have great personalities that can get us in and out of the store. I hope this continues.

This is the most poorly operated pharmacy I've ever used.I waited in line for 45 minutes until I was initially helped at 12:45 p.m.Then they close from 1-2.I was told to return again at 2.I arrived at 1:55 and then waited an additional 35 minutes.I will never use Roseburg Safeway Pharmacy again.

We filled our prescriptions at Safeway Pharmacy in Roseburg for, and I wish we would have transferred sooner. We didn't because there is one competent person who works there, which is why I am giving a 2 stars instead of 1 star (Thanks, Jessica...you are great!). The line is often long and very slow moving in the store, with no one helping or telling anyone what is going on for minutes. It's weird and unprofessional customer service. The pharmacists have treated my husband condescendingly. We are not sure why, as my husband tries to be as polite as possible. The pharmacist lost my prescription one time and blamed my husband. My husband had dropped off the prescriptions the week before for the pharmacist to store them because I didn't need them immediately, and the pharmacist couldn't find them later. After a day of looking, I called back and the pharmacist said he had found them. He didn't he call me to let me know! It was, in fact, the pharmacist's fault after all, and he never apologized for blaming my husband. We should have transferred after that. There was another time when the lady checking us out decided to sign my husband's name when she got impatient. That's forgery. It was on a HIPPA form. We requested a new form because we were not pleased that she so brazenly did that...just squiggled instead of him signing. Finally, the last straw was during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This pharmacy said that they would walk out my prescriptions to the car since I am immune-compromised. They had already done this for us before that specific day. My husband called to let them know we were ready. Joe, the pharmacy tech (who had done this for us before), said we would have to come later, not at 9:30am because they were under-staffed, so come at 10:30am instead. My husband did and he called before he came to make sure they were ready, and they were. However, once my husband was in the parking lot and called to let them know, Joe said he would have to wait a few minutes...okay no big deal...it's worth it for the convenience. After 15 minutes, my husband called back to check-in, and Joe said that they were totally swamped and that he would not be able to come out, so my husband could either come inside with a mask since that would protect him from the virus (yes, this health provider gave my husband this misinformation that masks prevent the virus...it only prevents spreading it--this is dangerous misinformation), he could continue to wait for an unknown amount of time, or come back later...then Joe hung up on my husband. Again, horrible customer service. I needed my prescription and my husband is my caregiver, so he put on a bandana since he didn't have a mask...he wasn't planning on going out in public that day. Joe put my husband in a bad situation considering my disability. When my husband went inside to the pharmacy, there was no one in line and the 2 people working were just standing there chatting. They looked caught, like they didn't think my husband would come in. They certainly were not slammed. Joe was being lazy. We immediately transferred our prescriptions to Rite Aide because they have a drive through option, so now my husband doesn't have to worry about anyone needing to run out prescriptions. The customer service is so much better. I hope Jessica at Safeway Pharmacy can get some better colleagues. I'm glad that the amazing former employee Rusty got out of there. We do not recommend Safeway Pharmacy in Roseburg.

I love Safeway. The staff at the pharmacy are the best and friendliest in the industry. With all of the pharmacy closures, we appreciate how quick you still manage to be. Wouldn't go anywhere else.Great Job!

Associates are great but severely understaffed. It should never take 45 min waiting in line to get a prescription or take 2 days to fill one but both have happened to me at this pharmacy.

customer service sucks --eight people behind counter --only 1 casher and a 45minute wait in line --i have had alot of trouble withe the auto reorder system sometimes it works but not a lot of the time==i will be finding another place --i sure miss bimart----
