Happy Paws Grooming Salon in Myrtle Creek Oregon is by far the BEST!!I have had great experience with a few places and horrible with a couple (I won't mention names or businesses). I have rescheduled her next appointment with Happy Paws and will continue to go back monthly.I have been several places to have my Siberian Husky (now 14.5 yrs old) bathed and de-shed, I have even tried to do it myself. At one of the prior places she was scared when I picked her up (I never went back) however, she was not afraid when I picked her up from here! She was gitty like a puppy :)Not only does she smell amazing, 95% of her loose coat that she is beginning to blow is gone! They put bows in her hair!! No one has ever done that!! If you have a husky you know what I mean when their coat begins to blow, its everywhere! They care about her and how she is feeling physically taking extra care with her due to her age, and letting me know exactly what they did and didn't do since she is older.

Very capable groomers! I have 2 doodles and had a husky groomed by them. They always note if they find something that requires attention and are super knowledgeable to tell you if they think it needs immediate attention. Love happy paws!

This was our first time here and they did such a great job on our Goldendoodle! If you own a goldendoodle you understand how much work it is to groom them. We weren’t able to get him into get a haircut for a few months due to the covid situation so he was long overdue. They were able to get all his tangles out and he’s back to his fluffy self. Would recommend them to anyone. Friendly staff!

This is my first time ever taking my dogs to a groomer and wasnt too sure what to expect let alone how my dogs might react. The outside of the place was clean and there was a small wood table with 2 cafe/beach style wood chairs. Upon entering the business I noticed how clean the entryway was, products and pamphlets was placed neatly and clear to see. There was even information about vaccines for the dogs which I had no clue groomer even do that.There was a couple of grooming tables to the side behind a low cute fence area. There was one chair near the door which I ended up sitting at while watching the employee trim up one my dogs nails. I felt that this was great to have so the owner could watch how there pet is being treated. The floors was promptly cleaned up and there was none of that wet dog smell anywhere..it smelled like a salon..like when there is lots of shampoo smell type thing.There was a dog in the back that was a tad voiced and not once did I hear any employee yell at the dog but quietly shushed the dog and assured the dog it was ok. I didnt have to wait long at the reception desk.I was greeted by a friendly employee and she asked me numerous questions to understand my dogs background (ei: health, temperament and behavior..etc..)I personally liked the way the questions if needed to be more precise was not judgmental. One of my dogs is a rescue and a product of being a mill puppy thus have slight deformities in the back legs and his fur is not the typical length and thickness for his breed. I had brought 2 of my 3 three dogs in, one was just for his nails and the other for a complete groom.I was impressed on how my dog that needed his nails trimmed was mostly calm under such circumstances and the employee meticulously went through the procedure for his nail trims. Due to he hates his feet messed with for this sort of thing. It usually took 2 vets to hold and do his nails with my dog in muzzle and it was traumatic for him every time. I wanted to try something different to try to not stress him out thus a groomer was the other choice. So when I saw the groomer so gentle and calm with my dog I was very impressed. Yes he thought about nipping but he mostly behaved and with out a muzzle! I was beyond happy for my dog on not being traumatized.Then I was told to leave my other dog and would be called to come to pick up after the grooming. I felt very confident on his care. I got a call later on again by friendly staff I went to pick up my other dog. This was a first for him too. I knew his very mild and loving laid back tendency would make his grooming positive..but again wasnt too sure how he would take it. When I saw my dog so happy, clean, trimmed up I was so ecstatic for my dog!He was so super soft, cleaned up and nicely trimmed up. He was so happy and very proud too..he pranced when he came out behind the door to go into the back area. I paid the reasonable fees and took my dog home where the family fussed on how nice he looked and how happy he seemed to be.Besides the friendly staff and the reasonable prices I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants there pet groomed. Due to this is a first time for my 2 dogs and myself dealing with any groomer..I was very pleased by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I will only go this groomer from now on for my dogs personal care.

I took my dog Happy paws to get her nails done when I walked in, I immediately noticed one of the workers yelling at the dog because the dog was trying to pull away due to it being afraid of getting its nails done. Itwas screaming and screeching it was so afraid. I would suggest to anybody not to take their dog here as the workers do not know how to treat people's fur babies with respect. I was immediately afraid for my dog safety and my own.

We made an appointment for grooming and nail clips for our puppies when we got them back their head and ears where not clean they didnt get the fle bath that we paid extra for and their nails where clip but not buff and found out they cut one of the nails to short costing the dog to bleed petco grooming is about same price for so much better service
