I waited about 5 or 6 minutes for an employee to get off the phone and check out my items. When they did, they were still on the phone. This person seemed to be arguing or complaining when they were on the phone. They used hand signals for me to hand over my items and money. Very unprofessional and rude.

Employee was rude and strange told me they didn't need me to come in there store . I have no idea why ? I wasn't even in the store I was waiting for my boyfriend in our car outside while he was inside. It's almost a full moon so there's that on her behavior. 🤔

This is a great store but there are a few issues that you might encounter. Often times the price sticker on the item is not the same as the price that rings up. It is higher and if you have to get a manager to change it. The second issue is the long lines. The third issue is if the cashier is not paying attention, you will not get all of your bags that you paid for and you will have to make a extra trip back to get it.

This store very clean and comfortable. And the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are great while still selling quality products. I think they have a good variety of things to choose from. It's one of my favorite stores

Good store for a short shopping trip. Their prices are a little high however a great deal of these stores are conveniently located however their hours of operation are not all that great. Generally their staff are friendly and very helpful. The stores are clean and well organized and very easy to locate items that they stock.

Okay so I have rather mixed thoughts on this particular discount store chain. The pros are simple the store when you get a good deal it's probably the best deal around especially true on soda like Pepsi products or Coca-Cola products, household or cleaning supplies are often advertised with excellent deals here. The bad news is these deals are often rather specific you have to get exact number of the product without any leeway like mix and match or if it's two for five you have to buy two to get that price otherwise it's going to be the original price. Also a major issue is the web based digital coupons have a major issues from delay before availability up to 24 hours to a finicky system that may not register your phone number at all depending on what it's also trying to compute (i.e. is the cashier doing .. well anything? It is a very limited one task system. I've learned to enter your number after the checker scans your first item.) The sales that dont require coupons can also be frustrating as again you have to pay very close attention to each item because more than once the sale price was not the price scanned. With all that said-I still shop here. Just more carefully. The employees have been very nice and try to be patient and helpful. The store is clean and usually well stocked. The hours here are pretty great for the area. They rival the only regular grocery store in the area, Ray's Food Place, staying open until 10pm.

This location had aisles that were THRASHED. Looked like a tornado had come through. Still love dollar general, and this location seems to have way more stuff jammed in than a closer to me location. Worth the drive. I did watch the head person be super rude to a couple about a phone they were trying to buy (but the phone wouldn't scan). That was off putting, as I heard her under breath comment as they left the store.

I am transgender and I frequently go in my women's clothes. They are always very nice to me and that is why I am there multiple times a day. The people working there are always pleasant and super friendly. However you guys pick new employees don't change it you are golden when it comes to your people. Thank you all.Lisa

Not sure if they're short handed or what may be happening, but this place used to be great when they first opened. Now its dirty and messy with product laying all over the floors/in the wrong spots. Doesnt really have the appearance that the employees/manager care about the presentation of the store.

This store has some of the best local deals on popular soda products and name brand cleaning products, hands down. But to get the extraordinary price you have to use digital coupons for the most part on most products. The have had problems in the past with the computer system recognizing your coupons or the sale price coming up at the register so I recommend watching your receipt closely. They carry a good variety of products for a discount store including snack foods, basic cooking & baking, seasonal, some toys, houshold paper products, general snd and automotive cleaning, lite handyman, prepaid card and phones, toiletries, some baby and toddler needs, beauty products (but not all name brands, only a handful of product lines), and a few "As Seen On TV" items. The store is clean and fairly well stocked. The employees and management are very friendly.

Excellent place for finding name brand cleaning products at good prices and sales on basics such as soda, bottled water, hair care, baby, and general grocery. Also a good place to get your P & G Brands if you are a coupon shopper. If you use the Dollar General app and digital coupons, I suggest keeping a close eye on your receipt to ensure your coupons did register.

Easy location to get too in the area. Friendly staff and average prices that you would expect from such a store. I went there once to check it out and ended up walking out with some good bargains. I was personally surprised by the variety of selection considering I have not been in a dollar general store for years. The store was clean and not very many customers so the store was easy to get around in.

The store in Green is always a mess. They have freight on carts all over the store and no one working on them. They leave empty boxes out on the floor. And I don't think they recover at night to make the store look nice for the next day.I think they should put stock out at night. I like Dollar General but this one needs some help.

The sign on the door shows masks required yet no employees wear masks. This is for the protection of others not because you might be uncomfortable. I will never go in again.

Pushy employees who wanted you out of the store before close time at 10:00. This was on a Tuesday night. I was traveling and stopped for snacks & drinks. At 9:43 they informed me I had 2 check out. Glad I don't have to go here again!

One of the worst visits ever at least 13 people in line one cashier the other cashier short little bald guy comes up and clocked out left that poor lady to deal with a bunch of angry people the wait was so long everyone was mad. It's this way very often in this particular store one cashier always if dishonest people where to go to this store they would rob them blind .so foolish anyway I won't go back I'll use the Winston store
