The prices are super affordable and they're very quick to serve you. The Cajun tater tots were perfectly crisp and so were the fries this time the batter was just a bit salty compared to the last time but nothing to stop me from going next time I'm in town. And by a bit salty I mean just a bit for my taste but my family thought it was perfect so it's definitely not something I complained about, it's just an observation compared to the last time.

It's such a cute place. The corn dogs were the best we ever had. We will be going back next time we are in town.Parking: Just across the street.Kid-friendliness: The kids enjoyed and ate it all. Then, they had a ball riding the Pronto pup 50 cent ride.

This is a must visit stop in the Oregon coast. Located in Rockaway Beach, it has easy access from the highway with plenty of parking. The menu is fairly simple, but there are vegetarian options along with the standard fare. I had a jalapeño sausage dog with a small order of hush puppies. Well, small is very large here, and I was very, very satisfied with my meal. While eating, the staff came out with special Pronto pups for the 4 legged pups sitting with their owners. I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat when in the area.

Our family was so happy we visited and received an awesome food and personal experience. To say the food, the price, and the people are amazing would truly be an understatement. The greatest hosts of alol time. It’s easy to come back over and over. Definitely ask about off menu items. The Pronto Pup is the main reason you should be visiting Rockaway Beach!!Kid-friendliness: Great experience for the whole family. The kids loved it all. Even rode the corn dog!!

Oh, I had corn dogs all over the United States from Idaho to Chicago to the corn dog king at California adventure theater the best corn dogs ever. She sticks her amazing the corn dogs are amazing. The batter is excellent. Everything was perfectly cooked. Staff is very, very friendly. I got to the beach on Monday and I waited till Thursday for the place to open and come here but I did super awesome experience.

This unassuming little restaurant is a must visit highlight on the Oregon coast. Located just south of Rockaway Beach, it can be found by looking for the huge corndog on the roof. Inside is a staff that is incredibly attentive to your needs, far beyond what I was expecting from a corndog stand. That's because this is not just a corndog stand. There is a lot of history behind this establishment, so be sure to add it to your travel itinerary and plan to eat on site, at one of the many outdoor picnic tables. If you have your furry four legged friends with you, they will even bring you a special Pronto Pup for them to munch on.

Delicious corn dogs! Delicious cheese dogs made of Tillamook cheese of course. The fries are double battered and fried to a crispy yummy not so good for you, but an amazing indulgence. I purchased a cheese corn dog, a regular beef corndog, a small fry and a Fountain drink for $11… people that is ridiculously affordable. Unique coastal attraction. Claim to fame is that they are the founders of the original corn dog. So yummy 😋 BTW for all you Idahoans and Utahns they actually have fry sauce. Most people on the coast don’t even know what fry sauce is LMAO

Undoubtedly the best corn dog I have ever had! The staff were friendly, they have easy parking, even for our large motorhome, and the owner of the place even came out and helped us get out of the parking lot because we were towing a car. The prices are reasonable. The quality is great. If you’re anywhere near this place, you should stop in and check it out.

This place was absolutely incredible! It was my friend’s birthday and this is what she wanted. The food options were incredible and the cost was phenomenal! We tried some of their specials smoked sausages various ways, the pickles, and the tator tots! When the awesome owner came out he told us to take the sand dollars a local collected that we’re still left on our table AND upon discovering my friends birthday he brought us both out a special birthday treat!!!! What an incredible day! Plus I heard him thank and kudos his employees as they were leaving for the day!

We ordered 2 foot longs. They are almost 3 in diameter and over 12 inches... They’re huge and prepared well. The batter flavor was not great. The hot dog was delicious. My issue is they use seed oils to fry everything in and every single person in our group felt sick after 20-30 min of eating here today. All 13 of us regretted it.So if your guts feel good after eating something soaked in grease eat here. If not.. just get ice cream! lol

When in Rockaway Beach, this should be a "must stop" on your list! Prices are great, service was amazing and our food was ready in 10 mins or less! They were closing up shortly after we got our food, but before locking up the doors they came out ( Many picnic tables outside) to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered our son extras (chili) for his Giant Pronto Pup.

A super great place for an inexpensive meal. The corn dogs are amazing but what is even more amazing is the price points. The pricing here will take you back a few years for sure, it is really refreshing to have fast food options at a fair price. This is a must stop if you are in Rockaway Beach or even if you are just passing through.Parking: Small lot adjacent to building and some street parking.

Small place with amazing options! It was my first visit. There is very limited seating so to go might be a better option. Since it's so small it can be loud with others conversations. I tried the Original Pronto Pup and the tater tots. The original was amazing! There were way more tots than I realized! And their fry sauce is one of the best I've ever tried! They do have a vegetarian option. Lightlife pronto pup, They also had a zucchini one and pickle one! I'll definitely be back to try those!Parking is across the street in a gravel lot. There was a huge puddle to cross since it had been raining/snowing and that created a bit of difficulty for me with my bad knees. And who wants to step in a puddle?Vegetarian options: Veggie dog, zucchini dog and pickle dog.

Quick and friendly service. I've driven by here for years when I'm the area and decided it's time to give it a try.Pronto Pub is delicious, golden fried and tasty (a tiny bit saltier than I usually like but still good). Fries are amazing, crisp and flavorful.

This is a cool little carnival food resteraunt that serves awesome battered and fried corn dogs, pickles, sausages, oreos, and more. The first Corndog was invented here in Rockaway, and this place really keeps the nostalgia going. Fair prices and great service top off the experience. We were able to feed a family of 6 on less than 50$ and had food left over for later. My favorite was the jalapeño and chedar pronto pup and the Louisiana pronto pup. The owner is hysterical and needs anger management classes. I accidentally parked incorrectly in his unmarked gravel parking lot (I was apparently supposed to park on top of a hill of gravel? And there were literally 2 other spots still open??). Instead of waiting 30 seconds for my food to finish cooking when I could then leave, he threw a temper tantrum like a 4yo child, demanding I move my truck “right this second”.Dude seems way too stressed out to work anywhere near customers. It’s just corn dogs. I was there all of 5 minutes. No one went without a parking spot. Calm the fork down.

Love to go back to my childhood occasionally and The Original Pronto Pup does just that. We travel to Rockaway a few times a year and have to say that they are by far the best corndogs on the planet. There is some history here, claiming that the first corndog was invented in Rockaway. I can believe that as they seemed to have perfected the corndog like no other. The breading is perfect, giving you that slight outer crunch with a softer corn meal inner texture. The cheese pup and pickle pup are great, but it's the original thar really stands out. Staff is kind and helpful and facility is cheery and clean. You must stop in when in Rockaway.

Loved this place!! Especially the "corn dog pony" out front. The corn dogs were wonderful and really enjoyed the "cheese dog" with the marinara sauce! She was ready to close but stayed open long enough to fix our order!!

This place is so busy but that’s to be expected and adds to that beachy fast food vibe. They pump out the Pronto pups regularly and quickly. The Spicy Dog has a little kick and is delicious. The casing has a snap to it that’s slightly tough to get through on the first bite, but when you do is oh so worth it. The tots are amazing as well. A large is more than enough to share. Plenty of picnic tables to sit outside. A window bench to sit at inside of you’ve got good timing.Parking: Parking lot is small but more parking is not far away.

Really unsure of how this place is only a 4.3... There are no better corndogs in the world. If you like corndogs this is your mecca. The menu selection is fantastic with just enough variety to make it interesting without overdoing it. I tried the Spicy Sausage and the cheddar and jalepeno "pups." Both, delicious! What more can I say? Oh yeah, the prices are very reasonable! This is a tourist trap town and they could easily charge 2/3 more... but they don't! The service is quick and friendly and the "pups" are amazing. I will come back here anytime I'm nearby!

Awesome place to stop when you’re visiting the Oregon coast! We stopped here for 3 kiddie pups on our way from Tillamook to Cannon Beach to say we had corn dogs from where they were invented. We typically just go with ketchup and mustard, but dipping the corndog in their fry sauce was excellent too. Very cool place!
