Recommend very reasonable prices has everything you need general store good customer service not a dollar store so prices vary but quite affordable do not go to central market close by it’s excessively expensive here is much better

Pricing is a joke. The shelves marked $1 do not mean the items are a dollar. The employee told me it's not a dollar section anymore, but all of the signs and shelfstrips say "$1 Deals". The employee said it could mean 1 or 2 or 3 dollars.I told a customer shopping the $1 shelf to be aware the items weren't necessarily gonna be a dollar. She said the items aren't marked, and the shelf says a dollar, and put the item back down.The employee got upset and gave me an attitude, and said that I need to come up to have her price check things if I need to know the price while I'm shopping.I said I'm not shopping here anymore, and she said "Good!"Quite the experience, I'll say.This isn't the first time pricing has been misleading here, but it's the first time I stood up for myself as a customer.Management needs to address the above issues.

Friendly and helpful employees. They take cans back for redemption- in the rear of the store. Lots of items- wide variety. All your basic needs. Food, clothes, little bit of everything. Things that are even still a dollar! Great deals on junk food. And open until 10pm!

Great resource for those small items you may have forgotten for your trip. Customer service was great and they had more household items than the typical dollar store. We stopped multiple times on our trip to Rockaway Beach. They are located about a mile north of main street, and had everything stock that we needed.

This is a fun store. Great place to find art and craft supplies. The clothing is very affordable and actually is decent quality. The layout of the store does make it hard to manuever around with a cart. The employees are nice and seem to enjoy working there.

Great deal on some cereal and my keys fell out of my pocket in store. Brother had to come rescue us with the second set of keys. They ended up finding them in one of the aisles and called me so we came to pick them up the next day. Saved me! Thanks DG!

I always stop here when I pass through Rockaway Beach. Kind staff, extremely busy store. Shelves are empty often but large racks are always full of items awaiting to be unloaded.If you think stopping here will be quick, think again. Long lines at check out. But always low prices.

I was skeptical, but have been very impressed. They are understaffed, but those who do work there are friendly and helpful. I love that I can get what I need at a reasonable, if not down-right inexpensive price. It's the perfect addition to our community.

Granted, we stopped in here for some emergency supplies just a couple minutes before they closed, but the staff could have been much friendlier. We stopped in again the next day and they were a little more helpful. Had just what we needed!

Typical Dollar General, some quality products, some junk. Prices from good bargains to ridiculously high. And, as DG always is, the store is a mess. Incoming merchandise blocking aisles, shelves disorganized.But it's a good place to get cleaning supplies, holiday decorations, and hair products

Nice store. It is getting 2 stars because the cashier closed as soon as it was are turn to check out because her music stopped. We had to waited for her for about 5 minutes and another checker finally opened up so we could check out. This was totally unexceptiable and unprofessional of the first checker. This experience totally ruined me for Dollar General.

Very nice to have a Dollar General in our small town. If you need cleaners or some spices or whatever. I am always suprised by what they carry. Beats 10 minute or more drive to next town.

This is a great place to shop. Not the same thing as a "Dollar Tree". Dollar General has real products at great prices. Groceries, dry goods, toys, camping gear and make up, just to name a few of their items. There's even a Red Box at the front door!!

I brought bottles in to return today. I was rudely greeted and and rejected by the manager Leslie. All people working there said “we are not setup yet”. I informed that not being setup was not my problem and that state law mandates that if a business sells bottles and requires a deposit that they must take them back and give me back the required deposit. I am not impressed that a brand new store is not setup and it’s associates have been told to deny and reject customers who want to return bottles for a deposit. Brand new store violating state law... way to go...

Only place to get regular tissue. Everywhere else is Aloe or scented or both. Would give 5 stars if they delivered or mailed. Will definitely shop there again.

Stocked full of munchies for beach goers and some every day needs at great prices.4 store because there is huge lack of sugar free or diabetic type foods. Need low carb, sugar free desperately please! 🙏❤️🙏

Very handy, over the counter drugs, pet food, automotive, home cleaning products are their long suits. Fresh food,& tools seem to be scarce. They need more staff. The staff they have are friendly, but swamped.

I love the dollar general in Rockaway Beach. What I don’t love is seeing only one cashier and a line out the door. BUT aside from that, this place is The go to in town for all your vacation essentials and little grocery items.

I was thinking it was going to be Dollar Tree but I was pleasantly surprised when I got in there. We went in there for eggs and we ended up with four lamps. They have good selection and crazy low prices. Super stoked that it's a half a mile from my house

Honestly, you can get a lot of the grocery products cheaper from Freddy's. Where it stands out is the various storage bins, and the toiletries aisle. some of the cleaning products are decently priced, but again, if it's on sale at Freddy's, you're better off there.

Cross between BIG LOTS and a regular $ Stores. High end item! Didn't see too much cheep stuff WHICH is nice! Found what we were looking for $2 less than a regular store AND It was a name brand.

The locals seem to like it...has a lot of stuff, but in General there are a lot of traditional grocery items and a reasonable selection. If you don't want to go into town or all the way to Tillamook it's your place to stop.

I showed up at 8:40 not once but twice over the last two weeks! I understand they do not want to be there but....Do NOT say you close at 9pm😡😡😡. Say you close at 8:30....waste of time I will do my best to not go there again.. I really try to keep everything local... I will pay a little more and go Center market.

So sad that the Corporation that owns this business, does not obviously pay enough to get help.. The help they do have are amazing.. Being understaffed causes stocking issues, empty shelves with stock blocking isles, making social distancing not that easy in this tight environment..
