Great staff. Check expiration dates of some goods...wasn't thinking about ir until I ended up buying a few items past the freshness / best by dates (i.e., salad dressing). Wash all fresh produce as the 3 fresh lettuce varieties have had small insects as well as bagged romaine ...washing before eating is recommended anyway.

Always super friendly employees. I do wish they had a fresh cold cut deli though.Make sure you check expiration dates on everything you buy. So much stuff in there past the expiration date.

The employees are (mostly) great. The service is good. Selection is decent. Prices are a bit on the high side (some are just ludicrous) for an average grocery store. Employees are underpaid. The store is chronically understaffed. All this said, it's my choice for local groceries, as it's a locally-owned business. A very decent place to shop.

I Love Love Love the Reedsport McKay's Market !,Friendly employees, deli chicken ( plump and juicy), nice variety of organic produce, good meat( painted hills) and frozen section. They really try to keep their prices reasonable and often items even beat Grocery Outlet.HOWEVER.... somebody needs a heads up as to the excessively loud music some depts playLast time it was blasting from the meat Dept and my elderly mother began to have a seriously bad reaction with her heart. This time I went in alone and it was just as bad coming from the deli. I bought a cake and a muffin and left. It was too loud to think. Nerve wracking.Young people probably wouldn't notice, but a lot of us seniors prefer a little more peace while we enjoy our time in your wonderful store.I think Mr McKay would have understood.Thank you for sincerely sweet checkers! Great ladies.

This is a small little town.But it is a great little town and our McKay's Market beats Safeway any day on customer service, pricing, and ease of use for their app! If you're in Reedsport but don't bother going anywhere else this is the place!

Please stop asking your customers if they want to sign up for your discount program every time they come into the store. Just keep your groceries affordable to all. And if we want to bag our groceries we should be allowed to do so. It is our food we are paying for. I understand why many local people shop out of the area. Its because of the service not the prices.

Love McKays customer service! Also, they have a nice variety of Organic vegies and canned foods. There Organic coffee "Wild Harvest" is great...also, Wild Harvest canned beans!

Not enough ADA parking. Only one can/bottle return machine.I bought skinless/boneless chicken breast, $1.00 cheaper than Safeways, both on sale.You have to watch the ads.

Know you are going into an old style supermarket. You are not going to find gourmet foods, wines or coffees. You will find the standards and EXTREMELY NICE EMPLOYEES. The butchers will cut the meat the way you like and the vegetables are ALWAYS FRESH. The mushrooms are better than a bargain. A Nice Place To Shop, I Always Leave With A Smile............

Love the new coolers. Looks really nice, easy to find everything. And I found out if they aren't carrying a product they will do the best they can to get it.McKay's is now carrying non-dairy cheese and pizza!!! So nice to not have to drive to North Bend/ Coos Bay to get these items. Thank you McKay's!! 💞

By far the best grocery option in town.The selection is limited, keeping in with the fact that we are a small town, but you can find most things you need. The prices can be higher than Safeway, but the experience is so miserable there that you’ll come running back to McKay’s fast.Some employees are nice, others not so much, but again, by comparison, it’s a much better, way less depressing experience.One odd thing...they don’t sell heads of lettuce, just lettuce in bags or plastic containers. Not sure why.

McKay’s sells items I can not find at Safeway plus the deli department is #1. The staff is the best in town. I’ve shopped there for 20 years and never been dissatisfied. Thank you McKay’s.

Shopped with my daughter and found many nice products. Went for the fresh dill but found there to be many very nice fruit and vegetables. Workers were helpful and polite. Great experience.

the specials are good ,some of their older staff have a lot to be desired when it comes to friendlinessOne of the cashiers { who has been there forever ] still is sometimes very very slow to check people out when one of her buddies is in front of her , one man just left his groceries and walked out , , i just try to use another line when she is there ,the other day a cashier told several people that it was the law the she charge even wic and food-stamp customers for paper bags .when i said that i though that it was just store policy, she said no its the law ,where is the management over site on this ?
