Forgot to take photos of the site IStayed at but I stayed at the cabin up the hill (hill cabin #1). It was nice while it lasted and saw a bunch of deer while I was there. However the park is super crowded and I wouldn't suggest getting a site unless it's the cabin sites or rv hookup site as the normal tent sites are too close for comfort to each other, you have absolutely no privacy as a tent site. I would only suggest staying in the cabins and or if you have an rv this is perfect for you! Plenty of places for a hookup and plenty of places to stay. Plenty of tent sites too but none of them get any privacy, if that's not an issue to you this is a great spot to stay. I would suggest bringing hand sanitizer because the cabins Porta potty have none and theres a few places to wash your hands, closest to cabins is the main restrooms near the center where they also offer showers. They also offer places to cook like a stovetop throughout the park or places to hookup to cook which is super handy. Overall beautiful park just a few things I wouldn't like if I were a tent site and to warn others of the hand sanitizer issue. Also near the pond it reeks like farm animals & manure.. be prepared for that if you choose to stay at the pond cabin, it smells REAL BAD! Lots to do at this park and Powers is a super small old town so it was beautiful to visit.Restrooms: Need hand sanitizer in Porta potties!!!Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be on leash.Picnic area: Big picnic area that's also shared with the public.

We camped while there and it was awesome. It is a well taken care of park. Stuff to do for kids and adults. Our campsite had full hook ups that worked flawlessly and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone.

Great little park with clean facilities. The drive there holds amazing views of the river. Deer, elk, coyote, and bear are often seen around the park area. Camp hosts are super friendly!

It was so beautiful and peaceful at Powers County Park!!! The people are friendly! The camp hosts are helpful and friendly! Just had an amazing time. Except the fish were a little tight lipped. Lol Oh well that's why they call it fishing and not catching.Already planning our next trip to Powers!!Playground: Nice big play ground for the kids, that is fenced in as well.Restrooms: I believe there are 2 possibly 3 bathrooms that are real, running water toilets and sinks (cold water only). But it always seemed to be very, very clean!!Dog-friendliness: They are very dog friendly, but they have to be on-leash, and you are responsible for picking up their poop. (only fair)Picnic area: There were 2 gazebos, but you may have to reserve them, not sure. There are a lot of picnic tables. Some may be for picnic or they may be for campers. I would call ahead just to make sure, unless you're just looking for a blanket on the ground type of picnic!!

Beautiful park, plenty of fish, with the pond had less algae, great spot to camp, they have a cozy cabin. All around a nice experience, would've been 5 stars but the pond algae is enough to prevent any swimming.

Nice large park with trails and a big pond. Beautiful place to walk and explore. Nice large park for such a small town. Would have liked to see more of it. There is a large playground and basketball court and I beleive there is overnight camping allowed here. Restrooms and showers here too, large pond and fishing is allowed here. Great little town, my friends have a cabin here. Would definitely like to see more of the park on my next visit.

This is a very nice County park right in the small community of Powers. The pond is kept stocked with fish by Oregon department of fish and wildlife. The County and the camp host do a good job of maintaining the park and the large play area for the kiddos!

Even though my initial start was great but ended rough, we paid for a 7 night full hook-up rv spot, got to our last day while breaking down camp and the host at that time harassed us claiming we was there 15 days and needed to leave, as we was leaving. He still argued after offering to show him my credit card statement my time off request from work from the other side of the state and fuel and motel purchases from my trip to get here, he even swore he saw my rv there the week before, mind you he done this in front of my children as well, I come here every year for a week for steelhead fishing with my family and will probably never stay there again..however the main couple that run the place are excellent just to bad that guy had to ruin the whole experience for my children,

Great place for fishing. Stocked with trout that are fun to catch. Perfect place to bring your children to teach them fishing. Very clean and very well maintained(grass, tree trimming) place. Very impressed and will be returning.

Stayed there one night to get a shower. Grounds and facilities looking great. Camp Host good people skills. The middle aged county employee on the other hand that drives the white county truck is rude and was talking about their 2 superiors not trusting him. Then he realized I was still in the office and said this conversation is not for my ears and told me to leave the office. He's pig eyed and doesn't look like he's missed a meal in a very long time. All that being said, I would wonder what he's hiding from his supervisors.

I had the honor of being the caretaker of Powers County Park for several years. The entire crew of workers at the park were volunteers with the exception of the County Ranger. I loved the community and all the park’s guests. I would recommend this park for any event or just a fun getaway.

Was very nice.... New over seeing staff and the management has allowed it to slip.... They offer full R/V hook-up but it is only power and water.... Must dump tanks at main dump station.... As well as the rate has gone up.... Still not to bad for the services offered.....
