Great grocery store, prices are comparable to other places, but still hit or miss on deals and products. Staff always friendly and helpful. Coffee for days and reminds me of the "Wall of Sound", in this case a wall of coffee. If you get the reference, you move to the front of the line...😎 ☝🏼

Great place and amazing people just be aware of your surroundings here because a lot of homeless people who rome here waiting literally for customers to leave the store by the entrance or the can machines. Some are on drugs, and some are aggressive when denied money. Again, great store! Just be careful when shopping.

This location is my go to Winco. The prices are great and employees are helpful. I'm not crazy about u-scans separated into "card only" and "cash and card" lines. I liked it better before when all the u-scans had both options at each station. That made more sense. Now it creates a back-up and confusion a lot of the times.

I LOVE Winco, because the employees are so kind and helpful, great prices, clean store, all the right things. But the other day I had an issue with an employee who was rude, lazy and downright disrespectful. Their name is Cody and they work in the deli. Can't miss this person, they have a beard bra on (weird looking things). I've been wanting to try the fish sandwich, but they never have the filets, so at my last visit I was excited to see a whole pan of them ready to go! I started by asking how they dressed them, which was the wrong question because he gave me a blank stare and said, "they're fried". I apologized and said, I meant what do you put on the sandwiches, tartar sauce, mayo, etc? He just looked around like I was crazy and said they have mayo packets, but luckily the older gentleman also behind the counter held up the tartar sauce container and said "we put this on it." I replied with "perfect, I'll take 2 sandwiches please." Cody then grabbed 2 filets, threw them in a bag, and went to weigh them. I said, no, I want the sandwiches, and he said we don't have them, just the filets. What? I said, "you don't have buns for them?", and he said "we didn't make sandwiches, just the filets", and took the bag and tossed it back into the deli display. I pointed out they have the sign right here for fish filet sandwiches, and all he had to do was put them on bread and squeeze on some tartar sauce. So he belligerently said "well then I'll take the sign down" and walked out to the aisle. I said, your the deli, how can you not make it when the fish is right here, and he just turned away and said we don't have them. Then he said, very loudly, "I can't take this right now, I'm going on a ten" and threw his white coat on the counter, slammed the door open and stormed off. This person, Cody, is at work. It's his job. He's literally paid to work in the deli and serve Winco customers. Again, it's his job. I didn't ask for beef wellington, I wanted him to put 2 pieces of fish on bread, squeeze on tartar sauce and throw them in a bag. You know, his JOB. I was really disgusted being treated that way and the nasty attitude just made it worse. And don't tell me you don't have buns, WE'RE IN A GROCERY STORE. Just terrible that this is who they have working with customers. Awful. Zero stars.

Good prices but management doesn't care to follow manufacturer's instructions on care for the food they are selling. One example, they sell "Reeser's Frozen Burritos" thawed, which makes them taste terrible (compared to other stores that do it right like Walmart). I complained to Reeser's about this and they were nice enough to apologize and send me coupons but Winco still can't seem to figure things out.

🙏🏼🧠, feels like a clean supermarket and a good place to shop with a lot of variety. They have clean, fresh as you can get from Winco fruit/veggies, meat and seafood area with friendly staff.Diversity of people here, some people do look sketchy but they do mind their own business and at the end of the day; we are people just trying to deposit cans or grocery shop. They have a deli perfect for families that want hot/cold foods to go e.g. fried chicken, potato wedges, roasted chicken, soup, salads, sandwiches and party platters.I like the lighting, layout and spacing of this Winco, feels clean and plenty of space for shopping. It’s also easy to find products unlike Fred Meyers, I don’t get lost and overwhelmed.-1 ⭐️— Can get busy and small Parking lot.

This is hands down the worst grocery store I've been to. Employees blocked the entrance and yelled "go around stupid!" Full aisles were blocked, trash everywhere and very hostile employees went out of their way to block the shelves and aisles.

Twice in three years have i gone to this WinCo and not found what I was looking for. The staff is always super nice, knowledgeable, and downright neighborly in helping me with anything I am looking for. I cant remember her name but the cashier with the red hair is one of my favorite people and one of the reasons I keep coming back. She is so nice, personable, and fast. The selection of products that this WinCo provides is awesome. I keep finding new favorite things that i can only find at WinCo. Great store. Great people. Great food.

Service is terrific, inventory is fantastic, and the prices are 20% lower than Fred Meyer, Safeway and any other grocery chain. I have shopped at this location for over 4 years, and it is by far the best.

I have been going here weekly since they opened and feel lucky that they're still part of my neighborhood. The people who work here are so kind, patient and helpful given what they have to endure (tons of shop lifting, mental health emergencies, managing the bottle return, and a parking lot that is essentially Thunderdome). Other than that, what else can I say, they're cheaper than most grocery stores, the bulk section rocks, and 50% of the shopping carts are so broken they sound like masonry jack hammers. It's all part of the charm.

I have only 2 positive things to say about this WinCo. First, the prices are good. Second, the red headed woman who works at checkout is so sweet and is great at her job.I go to this WinCo out of convenience only. The staff is horribly rude, they treat any customer who dresses casually like a transient which, in my eyes is profiling. Even if you are homeless you still have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. And I can't even count how many times I have seen or heard employees talk down to people, or just plain ignore people when they need help or ask a question. They never have enough staff, the lines to checkout are ridiculous. There bakery is not even a bakery my 15 year old son could make better muffins. There meat is very low quality and there produce is either overripe or underripe. I would much rather go 3 miles further to Fred Meyer and pay 30¢ more per item to be treated like a person should be treated, with respect. Plus it's cleaner, and has more to choose from. I hope someone at corporate reads these reviews and has a reality check. WinCo really should restart from the ground up.

Don't come here during the holidays. Misleading information about What time are open. Employees refuses to let you in when opened but claim a different story.

Don’t bring the kids to this store, it’s buck wild, dirty, and anything goes. I seen some crazy stuff go down here, so just keep your head on a swivel. Good prices for general pre packaged foods and snacks, pretty good stock on produce, I wouldn’t buy meat from here though.

First off I'd like to say that I love this store with it's bulk section & low prices, I'd hate to see it go away like Walmart. I have no complaints about it's employees, they're people like the rest of us with good and bad days.. but the last time I was there the store was packed, the lines were long, and yet managment allowed an employee to clean the floors with a huge cleaning machine.. this was stupid and inappropriate, and caused a confrontation with staff and a lady who had her own mental issues, creating a stressful situation for all customers. I blame management for not telling staff to clear the floor when the store is too busy. Management needs to do better.

You gotta understand, this store is actually miraculous and it's workers are like warrior angels.Have you ever taken a look arourd the area where the store is located? You know what I mean...The fact this store has remained open, and actually retains the employees that they do is AMAZING. I love shopping here and getting that West Bank feeling. My only criticism is that they need MORE security, with bigger guns.(I'm not being sarcastic, I grew up in the flats, it's paradise).

I like WinCo and I like this store. Friendly staff, great prices and selection. However they are consistently understaffed, which can be a frustration when it comes to waiting in the checkout line. Als one time I wanted to buy batteries around 7pm and was told that I couldn't since they are stored at customer service and customer service was closed for the day. So just be aware you may not be getting the full service because staff are just not there at times, or greatly overworked.

They have a good selection of fresh produce and bulk foods. Have a good meat section too. Scary bottle return clientele as you exit. Manager - move the bottle return behind the building.

A vast amount, not all, of the employees here are incredibly rude. Finding someone that will help you while you shop is near impossible. If you have cans to exchange you’ll be waiting for an hour some times, and met with a lot of hostility from anyone you ask to help. I’d rather pay more and shop somewhere else.

One worker bumped right into me and didn't apologize. Shortly after she was harassing a person who looked like they could be transient because he was shopping for things. He later went up to the self-checkout and paid for everything. He asked the clerk at self checkout for a pen and she asked why she had a look of disgust on her face and annoyance and gave him a pen.Disgusting behavior on the employees part. Grow up, houseless people are people too. Nobody should be treated with disrespect like that for no reason.

I love this store. Best quality, lowest cost grocery store in Oregon. Staff can be short and don't even try to use the bathroom but 4.5 stars for the food.

I have two young children. I’m sitting here at the dinner table looking at the nearest WINCO that isn’t this store. I’m about 4 miles from the one down by Clackamas, I’m only 1/4 mile from the 82nd and Powell store. I’m disgusted by this place and don’t feel safe taking two young children to do my shopping (I’m a 6’2”, 225lb man), I just don’t want to deal with the trash in the parking lot, the gross bottle return area as you walk in, and then the possibility of having to deal with an unhinged person walking through the store. I wish this place would close.

Boy, does winco come through in a pinch. They're only open til midnight, but that's at least an hour better than any of the other grocery stores. And the prices at winco way better than almost all of the other grocery stores. Honestly when I look at the amount of groceries I'm leaving with at another store, I feel insulted. I feel taken advantage of. So thank you very much winco.

i came into this store to obtain some alcohol, while I was leaving the store I was stopped because I am a minor. this was meant to be a simple run but all because my lack of an id they refused me service.I give this store a 3 stars because honestly it is pretty fair the employees don't want to loose their jobs.

You know things are bad when even WinCo has high prices. All I want is a little better meat. One step above Walmart ground beef but still far below Safeway or fed Meyers quality of meat.

A lot lot of homeless nearby. Didn’t feel safe. Somehow this Winco got the lowest price of all the other winco around the city.

So I was going to go in and get me a salad. I was working next door in one of the shops doing some plumbing and my hands were filthy.so I wanted to use the bathroom to go wash my hands before I start touching my food that I'm going to be eating or whatever else I might be touching in the store, and they said I had to go and shop first to give them a receipt to get the code to use the bathroom door. So I just walked out and left because I refuse to use a shop that will not let you be able to clean yourself to go and touch your food. It's really sad that shops are so concerned with people being homeless or not that it makes it hard for everyone else that may not or maybe even if they are it doesn't even matter. I will never go to this WinCo ever again!

I like having this budget food option near me. I usually shop at New Seasons but it's getting way too expensive and the quality is dropping fast. This Winco is very multicultural. Even many of the Caucasians are not from the USA originally and have a strong eastern accent. There are big homeless camps across the street. The parking lot is scary. I would recommend if you are a woman maybe don't shop here after dark even though it's open late. The food selection is very good and the prices are excellent. These days there are fewer cashiers and the automated check out area is cramped and not big enough with a lot of stations. But I guess fewer cashiers means more savings on food prices.I miss the cashiers though, and the lines get too long for a couple of cashiers these days, and sometimes only one. It was nice talking with them a few years back and earlier. Many of the women were pretty and very kind and their relaxed attitude (no PC cultural baggage) reminded me of the 90's when people were nicer to each other. I guess I need to move out of the city. People are still that way in the country. I think some of the cashiers were from rural parts of Gresham, based on their friendliness that wasn't uptight and didn't project "entitlement."I'm in my early 50's and it was nice to chat briefly with a woman in her early 20's. I never had a son or a daughter and it felt nice to have contact with the generation my kids would have been. Oh well. Time marches on. The computer is king now and people are strongly encouraged to serve themselves in all sorts of ways. Automated checkout stations are only one example of the greater whole.
