No Kimbob is there 😭😩 but it’s ok they have a good foods and products selection. They have a security guy. I feel much safer with them. Parking lot is a chaos but it’s a Portland. Middle of city. I understand that.Facility is a clean and crews are kind and respectful. They are super duper nice.

I love Trader Joe’s for their ā€œ2 buck chuckā€ (Charles Shaw wine that’s only 3.99) and also their many frozen ready-made meals that are always healthy but delicious. They always have great produce and most of it is organic. Their flower bouquets are always very pretty and inexpensive. I love just about everything here I’ve been coming since I was a little kid and now shop here as an adult.

Great selection! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I finally found the amazing mushroom medley. We were visiting from out of town and don't have a TJ locally. The mushrooms are always sold out at other stores I've been to so I'm glad I finally got them and bought three bags.

This store used to be better. A lot of the things I used to buy have been replaced with lower quality substitutes. The last time I went, the things I needed were all out of stock. All of them. Not really worth the trip any more.

Good location, they have a variety of products. Employees are helpful and friendly. The only problem I’ve had is a package of peeled garlic had mold, I contacted them and acknowledged the problem, they said they’d send a gift card but they didn’t.

Great location I’ve been visiting this Trader Joe’s to train my service dog since he was 14 weeks old and they have always been very nice to us. What I assume was a manager or owner even gave us a free bag of treats during the Christmas season once. <3 I’ve also had barely any issues with pets at this location. They’re usually very good at telling what is a legitimate service dog is and keeping pets out unlike some bigger grocery stores. On a sidenote, I noticed there was someone who put a review saying it’s bad to go to this location if you have a service animal and they were denied access. In my experience if your dog is actually task trained, under control, and potty trained you will have no problems.

What can you say about Trader Joe’s that is not good. Absolute great selection of frozen food, often from foreign countries. Frozen foods are actually good compared to typical frozen foods at a supermarket. Large selection of fruit and vegetable both organic and notn organic. Snacks like high quality cookies and chips, personal care products and a huge wine section. Best of all, the prices are really affordable.

Decent store, typical Trader Joes selections. They even have multiple security guards, which is good for people on bikes, as the guards deter theft. One of the guards even kept an eye on my E-scooter (I still secured it), very kind of him! The store is across the street from the 42nd Ave Max station, so you do see the homeless linger around. They (tri-met) even disabled the elevator, and one has to have a valid hop ticket to activate it. This is due to the issue of constant drug use inside the elevator. I added this above info so people aren't surprised by the conditions at this under-improvement part of town.Unfortunately for me, the one item I came for, all the way from 242nd in Gresham, was out of stock. The shelf label was turned around, and the employee verified they were out.

It's a great location. Parking sucks. They don't have my lacey cookies with milk chocolate. Ugh.....only dark chocolate. This is like the 5th food they have discontinued. Stop it, Joe, it hurts so much. Every time, like a breakup, I'm getting PSTD.

Friendly and helpful staff. Store was clean and shelves were continually being stocked. Store was easy to find. Parking could be bigger, especially during the peak times.

I've had a negative experience here 2 separate times. 2 different employees have been skeptical of me stealing from here. I am typically in a rush & only need a few items from the stores I shop at. I'm always rushing to catch the busses so I don't have to wait 30 minutes for the next bus to come along. So I maintain a rather quick pace/speed at which I walk. This evening 12-19-23, 7:00pm, I walked in to see if TJs has their holiday graham crackers because I haven't seen them the past few weeks whenever I check. I entered with my products from Whole Foods in hand. Kept a quick pace and circled the 2 aisles I've seen the graham crackers on. I did not see them & kept my quick pace as I went to exit the store, with the same exact items in my hands as I walked into the store with, through the same exact doors I walked into 60-90 seconds ago, to catch the bus that was arriving in 3 minutes. I'm very aware that it's an option to ask an employee, I do that when I have time to spare. As I was exiting, the security guard said "Ma'am, whered you get those eggs?" - I told him Whole Foods as I pointed to the Whole Foods Logo on the Egg Carton. He then proceeded to ask me where I got the Harmless Harvest Coconut Water in my other hand. After I had already proved I shopped at Whole Foods on the egg carton. I answered "Whole Foods" & I then mentioned I was looking for the Trader Joes graham crackers on the 2 aisles I typically see them on.As I said, I was in a hurry to catch the bus in a couple minutes. Couldn't be wasting time asking an employee for help for a single item during the Holiday rushes. The security guard proceeded to tell me that I could ask an employee to help me find the graham crackers. I just took the Whole Food Receipt out of my bag and held it up as I said "I have to catch the bus" - because I didn't need any more harassment which would cause me to miss the bus.I understand he's doing his job. But maybe he can become more knowledgeable on Trader Joes brand products and that Trader Joes does not carry Egg Cartons with Whole Foods Logo on it OR Harmless Harvest Coconut Water, they sell Trader Joes brand of these items. He almost refused to even look at the actual receipt. He did tell me to have a good night. But this interaction upsets me in addition to the previous interaction I had at a checkout stand:I also purchase water refills from Whole Foods, again, because I take the bus. I can only carry 2-3 gallons at a time. I am a 100 pound female. Less than 5 feet tall.I usually put 2 gallons in my backpack & carry one gallon in 1 hand, and my bag of groceries in the other hand.I went through a checkout line and my backpack with 2 full gallons of water, was set in the basket, separate from the products I was purchasing from Trader Joes. The employee checking me out inquired about the backpack (reasonably) - I told her there were 2 gallons of water from Whole Foods in the backpack. She then tried to give it a feel by lifting it because it seemed she didn't believe me. It was annoying to me because if I were trying to steal, I would not bring that stuff through a checkout line, I'd simply go for it. So I walked around to where the basket was and opened it up to show her. This is extremely frustrating. Both times this has happened with different people, the situation is they ask, & I answer honestly. They are either skeptical or proceed to ask about another thing, because they are still skeptical. After I have even proved I just came from Whole Foods.Get ahold of yourselves, learn the products that your store does and does not sell & instead of being skeptical or harassing, simply ask to see a receipt if you are feeling like I might be stealing. Better yet. Target the right, sketchy looking people who act outrageous in this world. Just because I'm quickly exiting a store without a bag and have stuff in my hands, or maybe I'm exiting the store with a backpack & nothing in my hands. Does Not Mean I'm Stealing. It means you probably don't have what I'm looking for.

I’m glad they stayed open during this snowstorm. The security guard is a joke was just gossiping on their phone the entire time. Also I was made fun of by the employees. They laughed at me as I was taking off all of my winter gear, and then mocked me later about when I was replying to their small talk when checking out. They talked loud enough about it as I was getting geared up to go out in this winter hell so I could hear it. I get it: y’all are in college and bored and wanna get home but sheesh I am very grateful for them being open so I can get last minute groceries and in return I am treated like a joke. At least laugh in my face rather than when I’m ā€œnot paying attentionā€.

Joe is the best Trader I know! Every time I stop in I trade money for incredible products and unbeatable customer service. Walking out of the store, I always feel like I got the better deal in the trade!

While the Trader Joe’s employees are awesome and the food is great, as we all know. The parking here is a little bit snug and when it hits 3:15, watch out! Some of the most obnoxious drivers I’ve ever seen!

Tiny parking lot, people waiting to park in the line, the place is too small, security lady is trying to take your basket when you leave it for a minute to grab something in the alley. They literally want you to do your shopping in 10 minutes and leave but like everyone knows that people come to Traders Joe’s for experience. I was just pissed when I came back from there, do not recommend

Good produce. Better frozen meals and basic snacks than Fred's or Safe'y. Generous with excess, past date and blemished Food and Bev's. They are major source for shelters.

We visited this Trader Joe’s lastnight and had quite literally the kindest cashier I’ve ever met. We are living in Portland for only a month and Andrei gave us the best impression of this city strictly because of his genuine kindness. This store should be grateful for an employee like this! We will be back before our month is up.

Busy but the biggest Trader Joe's we have been to so lots of room in the isles. No slow down in checking out because they had plenty of registers and employees.

Walked in hoping to buy some beverages and snacks. Had been traveling on the max and needed to use the restroom. The person who greeted me proceeded to ask me a barrage of questions in reply to me inquiring about facilities. I simply left and walked across the street to Target who promptly allowed me to use the restroom. I purchased my snacks there instead. Shameful behavior. From this Trader Joe's location.
