I love The Filling Station! They have great variety, including for your pets with fancy food needs. I really appreciate their rewards programs for their dog food and poop bags purchases. They conveniently host nail trim services most Sundays with the money going towards a local dog rescue. Most importantly, the staff are so knowledgeable and thoughtful!!! This place is the best! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is smaller than other pet stores, but carefully curated. I had a dog with extensive food allergies and they were beyond helpful. The products they tend to carry are high quality and small business oriented. Great selection of bulk treats too! And if you are looking for something they don’t have, they will happily order it for you and get it in quickly just for you and your pet(s). I’ve been going to this store almost 20 years and am so glad it’s there!

My dog has food allergies and this place helped me find a food that not only works with her restrictions but that she enjoys as well. Their team is fantastic and nice and my dog loves visiting. I’d highly recommend.

My favorite pet store, they treat my dog and cat, like family, and are always smiling and love what they do. All the employees have pets and have experienced every encounter you may run across.They partner with a local pet hospital, Lombard Animal Hospital. Lots of food quality pet food and treats, along with holistic pet treatments. Cat liter, beds, raw food and more.

Just wanted to thank the lovely staff member at the Alberta store over the weekend that helped me find a harness that wasn’t even at your store. She was just knowledgeable about a company making a harness that doesn’t run against a dog’s elbows (Blue 9 products).I ordered it and it fit perfectly! I will definitely shop at your store whenever I need something. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Such a treat to walk in and be greeted with excitement.

Pet supplies are fine, nothing unusual, nothing impressive, they dont have any raw cat food or raw cat treats. Their dog treats arent very healthy either, but I bought 1 dog treat, 4 cat toys, thats it. It cost $88. the dog treat was a gift for a friend and they had no gift wrapping or even tissue paper to put in the bag. I have severe social anxiety so at the time I was unable to protest the price or put anything back, but now that Im home and I saw the price and what I got I am furious. Dont go here unless you are rich and dont care about the prices or quality.

This place helped me through an incredibly hard time. My senior dog Bella was struggling with losing weight in her Last months; not only were they so intent on helping me help Bella, they never judged me for how she was doing. I gave my everything to my babygirl, and part of that was sourcing GOOD food for my companion. Laura is a sweet person, who cares very much about our furry family.

i’ve been here a handful of times over the last half a year… while the store is beautiful it lacks in a multitude of other places. first and foremost a really particular gripe but the parking situation is an abomination. that being said. every single time i go in i am rarely treated well. maybe it’s bc i come in in sweats and a sweatshirt but in the handful of times i’ve been in, i’ve felt as if the workers were more focused on their conversations then my questions. additionally every single time i’ve been in they can’t find my account. why they never offer to look me up my phone number or email (bc they added them last couple times) i have no clue. i spent over $100 on a “rain jacket” for a my dog only to find when i got home the specific jacket selected by the employee was sun stained from hanging on a hanger in the window. i decided to keep the sun stained $100+ dog jacket rather than brave that traffic and parking situation again. the cherry on top was me looking on amazon and seeing that by the time i wake up tomorrow, in time for my dogs bfast the fish oil i always brave this store for is $20 cheaper and can be delivered to my doorstep. TWENTY DOLLARS AND NO HASSLE/ HOSTILE, JUDGEY WORKERS! i am all about supporting small businesses but a $20 up charge especially on an oregon company (which the fish oil is from) is CRAZY! anyways, moral of the story is check amazon bc with that $20 up charge is over 55% of what i now pay for the fish oil on amazon. i can sincerely say i’ve been a bad pet parent multiple times bc of your store. my dog has gone without his fish oil bc i have to work up the courage to brave the traffic and the TERRIBLE feeling i have every time i left your store. you can delete all my accounts, i will not be returning! thank you!!

I almost never write reviews, but this place is so awesome I just have to! I called to ask a quick question about dog food for my new puppy and Laura, the owner, spoke with me for 35 minutes on the phone!She helped me with tons of creative ideas to provide my puppy with more healthy, alive, varied sources of food. He’s currently licking a frozen Kong filled with a mixture of veggies, kibble, and broth that I created based on foods I got at this store.Super knowledgeable staff, high quality foods that are humanely raised and overall awesomeness. I am purposely continuing to purchase items here that I could get on Amazon so I can support this store!

I needed presents for the dogs and didn't have time to get to the store before tonight. I realized these guys have same day delivery and since they are ABSOLUTELY the most amazing pet store ever, we gave it a shot. I have zero regrets. The delivery price is reasonable, it was fast, it was accurate and they maintained all social distancing requirements.My dog and I couldn't love this place any more than we already do. I highly recommend it.

We live out of town, but make a point of coming here every time we are in town. The employees are the nicest people ever, and there is such a great selection of everything you could ever need! We always stock up on bulk treats. Today I went in frustrated with figuring out how to get burrs out of my dog, and Blue was soooo helpful and reassuring! The people here really are wonderful and love animals. Best pet supply store!

Love this place! I usually only stop in a couple times a month this has turned out to be my regular shop. For the size they have a really nice selection. I shop for my bunny and my dog at this place. There natural and organic treat selection beats any big store and you can tell their focus is bringing in smaller better brands. They also carry rabbit advocates hay bags!! The staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to their products. They also have great suggestions for both of my pets. Even if they might not carry a brand you want you will always walk out of something from this place. Thanks guys you have always made me feel welcome and I'll definitely be coming back.

I had to drive 30 mins to get here but it was worth it since they carry Petcurean and they were open on my day off. The lady that rang up my purchase told me about their Tigard store because it would probably be closer to me and she told me about their delivery service and also of you buy 12 bags of dogfiod you get one free!!! That is great that they do that because my dog has a lot of years left to eat this allergy friendly hard to find food. I will definitley come here again.I came here today and forgot my wallet at home but the nice woman at the counter let me get my dog food and call in with my card number. This place just gets better and better.

The staff is wonderful! Friendly and knowledgeable. And even though I don't always bring my pup with me, they all remember who my dog is and ask about her. Their products are quality and I just feel that I'm doing right by my dog to go there. I highly recommend them!

Really great local pet store. I always come here for raw goats milk for my dog, for treats and toys, for supplements, etc. The people who work here are very knowledgeable and have great experience with all the items in the store.I love bringing my dog here, they ooh and ahh over her, and she loves it, and she always gets a treat when she's in the treat seat. I hope this pet store sticks around forever, it's really wonderful.

The Filling Stations is a very nice high end pet supplies shop in the heart of a trendy Portland neighborhood. The shop is very clean and well organized and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. There is a fine selection of foods and treats from high end brands. They also have a fine selection of high quality toys for both dogs and cats. Your pet is of coarse welcome to shop with you as long as they are well behaved. The shop also has water for your pet during the hot times of the year.

My dog Buddy loves this place. He will make a B-line for the front door whenever we walknow by. They always hand out a free treat or two as well. The staff there is also super friendly and helpful. I go here every couple of weeks to buy Buddy's food. This place is great.

I care here because my golden retriever Ollie was having bad anxiety on the highway and it just started on this trip! He has been fine on many trips and is four years old. Didn’t really know what to get but they helped us out in a big way. Talked to us about different options and the cons and pros. Very informational and have the best homemade dog treats! Thank you!

Extremely helpful and kind. I recently adopted a senior dog and went in to browse the shelves for food options. I asked a few questions and got lots of excellent nutrition advice and Laura spent nearly a half hour with me going over all the various foods they carry and general nutrition for my older pet. What I especially liked is that there was no pushing of expensive foods and supplements but instead a balanced overview of my options... including helpful insight about raw food diet (which with enough understanding people could do at home). They have a great supply of accessories and their prices seem very fair. I will definitely be shopping here again.

I called in and talked to a girl named Blue, with serious questions about my dogs allergies and I was blow away with her willingness to help and her knowledge about the subject. It's hard to find customer service like this, it's actually very rare! As a business owner myself, I know what's it's like to serve customers especially people with alot of questions when you might be busy!. I'm sure the staff are all equally amazing. Blue was a delight to speak with. I live in vancouver but will be driving to this store simply for that reason only. You can tell when someone is just doing there job and when someone truly cares. I hope this reaches management or the owner! Take care of this girl, she is truly taking care of your company!
