All the staff I have encountered here the last 2 times I’ve came have been super sweet. I like that they were very up front with their prices while in the exam room. I appreciated they give me options and were able to fill my prescription at a human pharmacy for cheaper. Both vets I saw were super down to earth and were able to do the exam on the floor since my dog is really anxious. They also put cute little notes in the after visit summary. Both appointments they were able to see my dog within a few days of me booking the appointment.

I was 15 min late to my appointment which was completely my fault(couldn't get those guys in the car lol). I went in for 2 cats(from 330-430) and the deposit was 150 dollars(75 each). Since I was 15 minutes late I lost my deposit and first appointment. What bothered me about this is that when I got there late I'm still waiting for 20 minutes to be seen. The deposit is suppose to be to hold my timeslot but they were seeing other pets anyways so what is even the point of forking over that money.Everyone was really friendly but I just felt that based on principal i can't come back.

This has to be one of the best veterinaries in the area. The front staff is fantastic and we never have a billing issue. The vet techs and vets are great there also.Reasonable prices on things and they do not pressure you to have more expensive tests done when not really needed.Recently we had to have one of our pets put down and they were very good with this. Very caring and comforting on all levels.The memorial we received was perfect and I will always cherish everything they provided.I cannot recommend them enough.

I adopted a kitten last year and set up his first appointment here on a whim. I am so glad I chose this vet office! The staff is incredibly helpful and did a great job of answering all of my questions as a first time kitten owner. I just took my cat back for his one year check up and vaccinations and I plan to make this is lifelong veterinary clinic. I also love the board in the lobby with all the pets names on it, its super cute to see all the fun names people give their pets!

Very good experience. High level expertise. Not cheap! And definitely didn't have any really hard convos with them about whether the care was truly worth the cost -- it wasn't as much of an issue as it can be since we're just doing dental stuff -- but if you can afford it, this is a good, safe, high-quality place to take your dogs.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. I really feel like they care about the pets but also as you as a person. The charges are very reasonably priced. They give you multiple options before they do anything and allow you to choose what you are most comfortable with for your pet.

Well I always like Portland Veterinary Clinic but I feel like their prices are super high. I took my cat in for a routine visit and they wanted over $500 that's not something that is Affordable. I did walk out at 150 bucks but I turned down two recommended things which would have made my bill over $500 that's not okay. That's not something that is Affordable. And now to get my cat fixed it's going to be almost $600 that's not affordable. I think I'm going to start looking elsewhere to find more Affordable Veterinary

The staff here is amazing! The amount of attention and detail and support is amazing! In the 5 years I’ve owned my dog I’ve seen 3 vets, they always say the third times a charm! All my animals see Dr. Flott, because we have a bearded dragon and hands down the nicest/realist vet I’ve ever seen! The wonderful girls at the front desk are so helpfully, polite, caring. It’s worth remembering them when you need a vet. Monday- Saturday makes it easy for anyone scheduled.

Staff is always very friendly . They are up front about visit costs , and options. They always recommend whatever testing / treatment is available and have helped me plan my pets future care . My only qualm is it’s usually out of my budget , but I have been totally satisfied with service from veterinarian and technicians. I would spend more if I could . Also they got the flea treatment that actually works and it’s affordable.

I didn't know anything about cats, and they've made my first time as a serious solo pet owner a very enjoyable experience. They take the time to clearly explain procedures and forms over the phone and in person, and will go out of their way to make sure your pet gets the best care possible.My cats always come back from a vet trip happy and chill, probably from all the animal love and professional expertise, which this place has in abundance. Portland Wellness Veterinary Wellness Center is a wonderful place! There are genuinely caring and knowledgeable veterinarians, and helpful and informative vet technicians. Dr. Fowler has spent 30+ minutes explaining to me the various care treatments and options for my cat. I really appreciate that patience and understanding. Everyone working there is engaged and attentive. I love the chalkboard in the waiting area listing all the animals’ names that will be seen that day! Thank you!

Dr Schwartz and staff were great with our very jumpy 2 yr old cat and helped brainstorm ways to help with his more problematic behaviors. We have taken all of our cats here, and have always received good advice and service. ♡

My dog is always so happy to get love from her vet! They do a great job of letting her take time to shake off, take a lap, or whatever she needs to reset for the rest of the exam. They’re also responsive and get us in quickly when we need something. We’ve move more than half an hour away but keep them as our vet cuz they’re so great.

I'm a new client and from what I've seen so far, I love this place! Most of the staff are friendly! And they did forget exotic prices when talking on the phone before going, but it's okay! I had enough money :) exotic appointment is $100, and then getting my rabbit her first round of RHDV, that was $45 plus almost $5 for biohazard disposal fee. I'll keep this updated as I get more established!

We were so happy with our experience at Portland Veterinary Wellness Center. All Staff members were friendly but professional from beginning to end. Everything was explained clearly, both verbally and in writing. (Which is very helpful!) Vet discussed possible treatments and alternatives which we really appreciated since our kitty has some health problems. Everything was great!

Service was really slow. I took my dog in for a exam that he didn’t even need to be able to schedule a teeth cleaning. Dr. Duffy was really sweet and kind. In the end their schedule was all booked out so I basically wasted my time and money. They also tried to up sell me, which is totally a red flag trigger for me. The entire time I made it clear that I was just there to schedule a dental appt. Also they charge this $4.95 charge for needle cleanup and my dog didn’t even get any shots. When I questioned the receptionist, “she said it was also for cleaning the rooms”. Not a big fan of this place at this point.

The Dr was very pleasant and took time to get my pet to get to know her before she started the exam. My first visit was very comfortable for me and my son. She was very thorough in her assessment of the situation I was having and took the time to explain what she was finding. I will definitely take my son back to her

I have taken my cats here and they have been incredibly nice and accommodating when needed. My cat suddenly passed, and they made the situation as easy as possible, which isn’t easy considering. They have continued to be compassionate when I brought another one of my cats in with issues as well. I’ve recommended multiple people to this office.

I have a very dog reactive dog and they were able to premeditate him and make it safe to go in without seeing another dog. They listened to my concerns and gave loving professional care. Highly recommend them!!!

My experience in taking my kitten to PVWC for the first time was probably my last.She needed antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection, and I feel the vet really rushed through everything and didn't take the time to explain to me thoroughly how to administer the meds properly. There was some confusion b/t the directions on the box and the sticker label they placed over the box.When dealing w/ medications, things should really be crystal clear. This situation caused me quite a bit of unnecessary stress.They also offered to trim her claws, and made it sound as if it would be complimentary. I already had so I declined, but found out later they would have charged me $47 for that.
