I like the staff here especially Cierra and Alex but truthfully the owner shouldn't takebottles the store front is full of hundreds of drug users every day I live nearby in a large apt complex there are literally a 1000 apts and condos within 500 feet but most won't go here because of the drugs if the owner focused on us would be better

I went at 5am to get some Sunday morning doughnuts and it was locked up. The employee looked like he just woke up from the back or something. Yelled thru the boarded up front doors the hours are from 6am to 10pm. He then unlocked the doors and preceded to start sweeping the garbage up. The hours need to be adjusted accordingly

Everyone I've met here so far has been really kind 🤷‍♀️ but I don't doubt the validity of other reviews. I'm a white passing visibly disabled female so I definitely get more kindness than a lot of people unfortunately.It's a little dirty and the "purchase before you pour" setup with the cups is a little indicative that they don't trust you to be honest from the get-go which is disheartening in such a lovely community. I'd drop a 4 star review but the entrance is not very accessible.

Dane is always SO helpful and friendly when I come in. I frequent this location at all hours of the day, and while all of the staff has been great, Dane absolutely stands out to me as a team member. My only complaint is stock inconsistencies, but there's always something there I'm interested in getting so this has never been a personal issue for me. It would be nice to see multiple staff members per shift to allow staff to more efficiently stock the store

Asked me for ID even though I am almost 40 gave him valid bc ID claimed he needed a passport. Kid just gets off on the little amount of “power” that he has.

I am travelling from another country and my completely valid id was apparently not good enough to buy a couple bottles of wine. I was told I needed to walk back 30 minutes and back with my passport if I wanted to buy wine from them. Sorry I don’t feel safe to bring my passport around with me in a strange city. Obviously annoyed, I decided to grab my car from the hotel and drive to another liquor store with a much better selection.

Store has a good variety of items and is well-stocked. The best thing about our experience here was the service. Dane was incredibly friendly and helpful, greeting every customer as they walked in. He made us feel welcome and valued.

Black guy that works graveyard is rude. Younger guy is rude as well Almost all my friends including my parents are regulars here. The rare times we go in the evenings he profiles everyone, takes too long to scan items, and presents it as if everyone in the place is stealing. You're not going to get much business if your clerks assume everyone is stealing. The guy in the mornings now is extremely unhelpful. If you ask him to locate you to anything he rolls his eyes ot gives a blank idk. Seems like he doesn't want to be there even though he too watches everyone like a hawk. He doesn't ask you if you want a bag and slams everything into one when you ask damaging almost anything you got.

White supremists work here 😬 I spent about $15 bucks, things went pretty smooth until I left, as I opened the door and employee yelled "don't come back!" 🤷 I'm a brown, thick female with short hair. If you look like me don't go there lol also, there were two random white guys dressed up like maybe Sears security officers lol just randomly sitting in the parking lot unofficially patrolling I guess. Eyed me pretty hard. Stay safe❤️☮️ hope this helps.

I was assaulted after being treated rudely and profiled by the store clerk. She followed me outside to tell the security officer I was acting weird. He then chose to use physicality to explain himself instead of verbal explanation. When the police arrived they asked if he wanted to press charges and told me I was not allowed on the property. There are more details but I have wasted many hours trying to file a police report.

Super convenient and close to hotels in the area. Open 24 hours a day so that’s a good thing. Excellent beer selection at good prices. Some bums hang out in the vicinity but no way as bad as downtown where they seem to have been sprinkled liberally all around the Pioneer Plaza block. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Oh and you can get your lottery tickets here if you’re into that sort of thing.

My friends and I used to go to this store everyday almost on our breaks and lunches. The same people help us every single day. One of my friend smokes and buys her cigarettes exclusively from this location and has rarely even been asked for her ID. Today when we went in they also demanded my ID simply because I entered the store with her which I have on every other occasion she has purchased cigarettes. I was making a separate transaction standing in line behind her. I did not have mine as I do not smoke and they refused her business and acted like they didn’t know us when it was the 2 people who always help us. You can’t have a magical new policy today you’ve never had requiring someone who enters a store with an individual being required to also have their ID for the sale of cigarettes. I will NEVER give this store my business again even when I have continued to go there when they have charged my card for other people’s purchases. Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

Luc is the worst employee I ever met. He disrespected me infrint of many customers and makes up his own rules and chooses what policies to follow and which to enforce. He doesn't treat his customers equally. I was in line and happen to see a girl I knew there was like 7 people in line me and thengirk chatted all.of about a minute and then she.left the store and walked completely away out of sight when I got to the counter I asked to buy a pack of cigarettes presented my valid organ ID and was told that I could not buy cigarettes without the girl's ID who at this point was blocks away and I don't know what direction completely out of sight. I proceeded to try to reason with the man and his response was well you better hurry and run after laughing. Then after looking outside and seeing the girls nowhere to be found I got back in line to buy cigarettes and the three customers who are friends in front of me one bought beer one but cigarettes and none of the three were ask for their ID after being told that it was strict policy to ID everyone buying cigarettes and alcohol his response was oh I know them completely unprofessional and has zero customer service skills I felt disrespected and profiled you guys really need to do something about this Luc guy

Pretty nice little Plaid Pantry location, nice for the engineering students at PSU to hit. Staff is pretty friendly, one of the better locations overall I would say, also conveniently close to the liquor store.
