I spent over 170 dollars here and the entire 15 minutes they made sure to make me feel as uncomfortable as possible as they followed me to every aisle and one point just stood at the end of the aisle with their arms crossed staring at me. Is it because I’m Native American? Not sure but I’m never coming back

The manager at the Jantzen Beach Petco was very rude and condescending to me. She lacks professionalism and customer service skills. I won't waste my time on the details. I would recommend at the very least, going to a different Petco, at the most, order online and save some money.

First of all I want to start that I don't generally shop at this Petco. However, for my 8 week old puppies, it was the best choice. IMPRESSIVE and AWESOME customer service from the veterinarian, Jasmine Streeter. I will bring my pets to Jasmine all the time. She is knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly and patient.Thank you for wonderful experience getting Lady and Coconut their shots. We will be back.

Just had my senior golden retriever and senior BMD groomed at the Hayden Island Petco We were greeted promptly and cheerfully by Anthony who was scheduled to care for both of my dogs for ear cleaning, teeth cleaning and nail buffing service. I stated that those were not the services I wanted. Instead I wanted their nails cut, a good brushing , paw pads trimmed with hair between pads cut and a sanitary groom. Anthony said he was not checked off to use the clippers yet but he could do all the other services. It was decided that Taylor would clip our BMD who was more challenging and that Anthony would do the Golden with supervision from his manager. His manager came in 10’ after Anthony began and walked right past him. Anthony asked for guidance twice and both times his manager said “ don’t over think this”. Finally frustrated as to not knowing what to do and getting no assistance from his manager, Anthony again asked for clarification and help. The manager walked over and snatched the clippers from Anthony and said “ just cut around his privates. It doesn’t need to be perfect “. Anthony did his best in a bad situation. That was the worst display of “management “ I’ve seen.Sorry Petco. I will not be going back for more grooming services

Staff was not very knowledgeable. I inquired about a larger bag of dog treats, and they had no idea it was on sale, couldn't tell me any more than I don't know check another store. Didn't know how long the sale was going to last or even worth going to another store. They just dismissed me and started fiddling around again

Wow the sales person Johnathan was incredibly rude. I went in for a bag of dog treats no biggie. He asked for my number I said I don’t have one with you I don’t normally shop here we usually buy in bulk from Amazon and we travel full time so that works for us. He said well let’s get you signed up I said no thank you I’m good. He said it doesn’t require your email I said thanks but I’m good. He said we ask this with all of our purchases I said seriously I’m good. Then Johnathan said huh weird I don’t know why you wouldn’t just sign up. I said I don’t care to thank you. He said well I need to find out what you people do that you don’t want to save a few bucks, I don’t know anyone that doesn’t want to save a few bucks, weird. I almost left without the treats at this point, pushy and rude and I won’t be back.

Nice store. Came to buy my Chihuahuas dog food which was stocked and treats.And to check out a soft flight approved dog carrier for in cabin flight. There were 3 types.I chose the blue one.

Was directed to go to this Vetco from the Vancouver store because they had a clinic there that could see my dog. Booked appointment, check in and was told that they could not see my dog after checking in without the Doctor even taking a look at my dog. They did not charge me but made the decision of not seeing my dog based on him being a Siberian Husky and he had red inflamed skin due to fleas. I was in there to get his booster shots and a flea treatment along with a checkup. the lady that checked us in came back and informed us that the doctor said he needed to go to a hospital due to his skin irritation. The doctor did not even look at my dog. I called a mobile Vet with a Doctorates in veterinarian medicine, and they scheduled an appointment within a week. This is the second time that Petco has refused to service my Husky, the first time was for nail clipping only with all of his immunizations being up to date. They pick and choose the breeds that they will service even after you check in and they say that they will take the time to look at your pet. Take you business elsewhere, not worth your time or your pets stress. Waste of time and energy, until they get better service I would not recommend them.

Familiar with store, walked in selected food appropriate for my cats, paid & left. Courteous and efficient service. Was happy to have been made aware of a discount coupon I didn't know was available for my purchase. I'm grateful for the savings. :-)

This store probably doesn't want any visits from corporate. When I was there it was cluttered, with stock shoved where it didn't belong and crammed off to the side, making it difficult (and potentially hazardous) to find what you need. Maybe they were preparing to do inventory? Whatever the case, staff was friendly, if you could find them, and I was able to get most of what I needed. Still, this probably won't be my first choice for a pet supplies store.

Fantastic staff at the Jantzen beach location. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am thankful for the care they bring Radagast in the grooming department, unlike the grooming I received at the Hazel Dell location. They took time to meet his needs, whereas the Hazel Dell staff neglected them. I highly recommend this grooming location and all the staff at the counter and support staff on the floor. They all care and love animals.

Stopped by to attempt to buy a winter coat for my pup, and while the clerks were friendly the store itself was beyond cramped and cluttered, there was no real aisle for the dog clothes the limited selection that they did have was scattered in and around the whole store on various end caps, they had a miserable selection and none in a size bigger than a medium, we attempted to browse other products but found they were either sold out of or just didn't carry some of the most basic dog supplies and what they did have was ridiculously over priced, in the end we left without making a purchase.

I've been to this store three times in the last year for puppy vaccinations & flea rx and have been blown away every time at how great their veterinary staff are. I had low expectations: I first went here only because finding a vet for our new puppy was hard, scheduling was even harder, and we just needed to get vaccinations done!! I'd have been happy just to get in and out and done. But I truly don't think I've ever visited a more professional, kind, helpful, and good-with-my-animals vet clinic. And now that we've seen three different veterinarians, with different techs and check-in staff each time, I can say that EVERY ONE OF THEM is great!! Plus making an appointment is a BREEEEEZE! I wish this was a full service vet clinic!!

YESSS!!!! They have the crickets. And everything else I need for my pet spiders and company. Very awesome. I love the selection of life they offer. I want one of the dragons for sure. Not ready just yet but I will be. That and a python will be perfect when I can acquire them. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will return for all my pet needs. Thank you for existing. 😇P.S. can I special order a creature of my choosing through them. I feel like they would have the pet shipping ordeal well in hand. Just wondering. Thanks people!

I have always enjoyed shopping at Petco.I really appreciate the way that they stand behind their products and if something doesn't work out for you they are pretty flexible about returning the product which allows you to be able to try something else.Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
