Will not be shopping here again as a POC. Has been my go-to all in one pet stop given the wide food and toy variety but my last experience left me feeling so humiliated I refuse to go back. At first whenever I would go to this store, I thought the employees were very attentive with their customer service, but the more times I went, I noticed that I was the only one being trailed by employees as I walked through the store compared to the other patrons. At first, I thought this was just me overthinking the entire situation until the last time I was in. I had headphones on and immediately made my way to the back where I was looking for the exact product I needed when an employee stepped in front of my to separate myself from the wall of merchandise. Slightly taken aback I took my headphones out to which the employee asked if I needed any assistance to which I replied I was just looking. They employee left my space and I put my headphones back in but didn't turn in the music, and once the employee got back behind the counter, they began talking to the other employee working to "keep an eye out on those ones". When the employees saw I was watching them converse they stopped talking and appeared to go back to work. As someone who had previously spent hundreds of dollars here I was shocked and humiliated. As someone who spent a decade working in the veterinary industry, it was extremely disappointing to receive that kind of treatment from those within the animal husbandry world.

As always, the best. Ol'Frank--he's getting on in years--will walk more than 4 miles (round trip) just to sniff the bags of dog food, mooch a treat or three, and pick up some treats for the coming week. Highlight of his weekend! Thanks for being there for him!!

This is my favorite pet store! They have a great supply of kibble and wet foods with some local options as well. They keep track of the bags of pine pellets I get as cat litter and they give buy 10 get one free! The cashier also gave me some free catnip once that my sweet boy really enjoyed. He actually broke into the bag 😅It’s the best experience I’ve had at a pet store.

They have a great assortment of high end healthy dog food, snacks, and chews that my dog loves. The staff are very welcome and helpful. They always give my dog a treat just for coming in. They have a food bag record of what I've bought in the past, and after I buy 12, I get a free bag which helps because dog food is expensive. They carry the beef knuckles and tendons that my dog loves. I drive out of my way to shop here and I recommend you do the same.

Great selection of healthy dog and cat food. I’ve purchased medicine here, toys, muzzles, bones and treats. They also have a reward system for the dog food I buy, which Is great. Never crowded or too active. Chill place for your pets needs!

We had an incredible time getting our dogs (including a 9 week old puppy) fitted for harnesses. The employees were so incredibly helpful and nice. They approached and asked if they could give treats instead of just giving one. One of them even got on the ground and pulled out the harnesses and fit them on my older dog. I was so blown away by the customer service! I hope they love their jobs, they made my day <3

My new go-to for all pet supplies 🐾 They have everything you need, no price hikes, and the staff is always welcoming, helpful and impressively knowledgeable. You can tell it’s not just a job for them and that they love what they do. From their warm greeting the moment you walk in, (even if they are helping someone else), and helping with recommendations based on your pets’ needs or to simply save you money, to sharing important industry updates or helping you walk your items to your car—this is my new pet store!

I frequent this pet store because the staff are always so happy to help. We always bring our pup in and he gets spoiled with treats and sometimes they even send us home with some freebies which he gobbles up.We've had trouble finding durable toys in the past, and the staff were able to recommend us toys that took a substantially longer time to destroy than the others we've looked into. Our pup also has a sensitive stomach and we got great dietary recommendations--the staff know their stuff!Always happy to shop here or make an excuse to pop-in!

Fantastic store. The staff (a family I think) are all super friendly - and, importantly, super knowledgeable. They'll happily give you advice whether or not you're buying something - heck they'll actually talk you out of buying something if it's not right for your situation. Good selection as well - they cover dogs, cats, fish, terrarium dwellers, and if they don't have the product for you, they'll order it in. Love these guys.

I love this pet store. Animals are cute and always well cared for. It's also really nice to have the employees give trustworthy answers to me questions about my dog and cat food. Carried healthy food for my pets I have usually had to get at the feed store or online from Chewy.. Will be shopping here regularly for pet needs. Not overpriced either.

This is a wonderful store in the south waterfront area. Extremely well stocked with many many food options, I'm sure they will have what you are looking for. They also have lots of other items such as cloths, collars, toys...the list goes on and on. Finally the staff is extremely nice and helpful. I really like this shop.

Great selection of dog, cat and small pet supplies with reasonable prices. Their selection of live fish is limited, but what they do have is high quality at good prices. Unlike the big box pet stores, all the fish were healthy and appeared disease free. We got over a dozen fish, all thrived in our planted aquarium.

One of my favorite pet stores that I've visited in Portland! They have an excellent selection of pet food, and if they don't have what you're looking for you can probably ask them to order it for you.The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If your pup comes in with you they give out free treats to them (with your permission of course!). My dog is shy and they have been great about respecting her space and interacting with her on her terms. Because of this she now loves stopping by for a treat and some pats.I also bought a pair of rats here and they've been some of the friendliest rats I've owned! They breed their own rats and do a lot of socialization with them and it definitely shows! Overall a wonderful place with wonderful people! :)

The staff is amazing. They multi task very effectively. I use to live in this neighborhood. It's now a 25 minute drive with light traffic for me to get there since I moved. It's worth it. Wonderful products and very knowledgeable staff. What more do you need?

We come here with our dog every week or so. The dog loves it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They have a huge selection of very healthy tasty specialty pet foods for spoiled dogs. Expensive, but worth it. They also have snap pets experts on staff and breed their own hamsters and rats! Awesome. Next time we get pet rats we'll come here first.

Owner lady is a bit rude and only wears her mask when customers enter.Well stocked locally owned pet food shop, they have Nulo which is what my cats like the best. They offer a free case of you buy a certain amount, 12 or so I think.They no longer have live fish, but I think they offer some fish supplies.
