It’s a convenience store so it’s priced up, makes sense to me. If you want to buy cheaper that means you have time or a way to get to Fred meyers or Safeway that day. This is a very good convenience store. They have vegan butter, bacon, Italian sausage, pasta sauce, beef & chicken STOCK, oat milk, they’ve even got ginger, lime, potatoes, onions, lil bottles of hard alcohol, dog food, cleaning products. Literally what a mini mart should be. I love coming here if I need something quick but don’t want to go to Safeway or Fred’s or don’t have time to.

Disappointed on overpriced food especially we are on budget! WAS only place I was buying food and treats for my dog !! However they told me DOGS are not allowed 🚫 not pet friendly!!Lost a loyal customer even though it’s price over price!! I will no longer buy from this place again! Very rude on how they told me, lot’s stuff do not have prices listed, over stuffed and for a small store, hard to walkthrough especially when lots of people during lunch hours!! Staff do not use gloves while handling cooked hot food !! I don’t see them washing hands/ ..was disappointed ☹️ can’t take small pups in for it was only place I took him now I gotta find another place!! I don’t recommend this place either way!! Some cashiers are moody and never friendly not even greeting the customers. Unfriendly place. Thank you

The guy here seems to be very peculiar in who he treats with dignity as customers. I asked him about a item they had over the phone and he immediately said no and hung the phone up on me. I'd never spend my money here..I'll take my 60$ and go to NATURAL GROCERS...not NATURAL MARKET :)

Expensive, even for downtown. Mostly reselling Costco and dollar tree items at a significant mark up. Still, it's called a convenient store for a reason. There were lots of people there, so it must have it's appeal to some. The cashier was unremarkable, but at least not notably rude. Doubt I'll go back, especially with CVS on the same street, less than a block away. Overall, meh.... 😕

The store is fine. The problem is that it’s never open during business hours. A few weeks ago I tried to go at 8 am, but it was closed. Today, 10/25/23, I showed up at 9 am and it was closed. Piss-poor management.

Visited Portland for business. went there to get something for breakfast. A lot of items don't show a price. I'm on a budget, I need to know how much I'll have to pay for. Asked the guy if they have turkey or chicken slice. He went ahead and kindly showed me where is was, issue is, it was ham and I don't eat pork. Very poor management for a store located in a fancy area.

all of the staff are super chill and the vibe is great. prices are higher than a grocery store but that's to be expected with a small convenience store. love this place, it's the only place I can get my favorite snacks!

The bald guy [kinda old] was very rude to me once. I went into the store with a bag of quarters I had about 8 dollars worth to pay for my items. He nearly refused and told me I am never allowed to use change again to pay for my items. And that the coins have to be professionally wrapped. He got mad and made a scene about it when there was no one else in the store. Worst store ever. They do not take care of the refrigerator and mold can be seen growing on foods so watch out for that. Their prices couldn't be any higher. I've never seen a frozen rising crust digorno pizza sell for $9.99! That's absurd when it's actually $2.99 at safeway. Totally criminal just to keep their profits high. No one ever buys the food there. It just sits around. All in all Mr I don't accept change, Goodluck with that store. You're a thief and rude.

many times i’ve found that i’m missing something and thought “i wonder if natural mart has it..” so i’d walk 2 mins away from my apartment and sure enough they have what i need! this little store isn’t fancy or even close to perfect BUT it’s exactly what it sets out to be: convenient! i live in the area and can’t tell you how many hundreds of times i ran to Natural Mart for a missing ingredient, a snack, maybe a seasoning for cooking, laundry detergent, toilet paper, tools, even dog supplies! Natural Mart has saved me too many times to count. and the employees have always been nice. no complaints here.

After a long day, I discovered I needed a few simple ingredients to finish a meal. Having lived in the neighborhood a few months, I thought I would check out Natural Mart for the first time instead to making a trek to a larger grocery store. I checked the hours online and it said they were open until 11pm, perfect. I park my car at 10:01pm and walk up to the front door, the worker literally looked at me and ran to turn off the "Open" sign in front of me. Yikes. I understand online times can varry, that's reasonable. Running to turn off your open sign because you see a customer walking up to your door isn't. Staying open a minute later to provide good customer service could have earned you a good customer righr down the street from you. I won't be back, and will share my experience with my friends, neighbors and those I meet in our neighborhood as well as online.

To whom it may concern, Natural Marts are no longer a chain. They have separate owners and employees, and your experience at one is not reflective of all of them. If you do have a bad experience share that with the management or a employee that you feel comfortable with. Most of the time it's a misunderstanding or a correctable issue.

The staff are very friendly it’s a convenient store so the prices will be a little higher. I like how they advertise with words that light up outside their store so you can find it. Pleased overall with this business.

I wish they had convenience stores like this back home. They have a nearly complete selection of the basics and (surprisingly) not at outrageous prices. I was visiting from out of town and was able to purchase several days worth of groceries within a short walking distance of where I was staying. If I were local, I could imagine using them when I need something in a pinch. Overall, a pleasant surprise.

This place has the nicest staff and best selection around! They recently starting serving a couple of hot food items as well-- some absolutely delicious dumplings and a soup I can't wait to try.

Walked into the market to grab a snack. Clerk was blasting racist, violent music over the speakers. Racial slurs, violence towards law enforcement, drug use, and prostitution of minors all in one song. I have no interest in supporting that kind of behavior with my patronage.
