The people who work here are wonderful!!! My cats favorite food was discontinued and they gave me a few cans to try out. Of course 2/3 of my cats loved the one just out of my price range! I went back in to buy it anyway and they gave me a couple more budget friendly ones to try. 3/3 cats loved it right away. I'm beyond grateful!

I went to Mud Bay once and will continue to come even though there is a pet store on my street. It’s a little further of a walk, but well worth it for the Customer Service. Every time I have been, the staff have been super friendly and helpful. I told them that my cat was very picky with the type of food and treat she eats and they gave me a can of food on the house. They also let me take a few samples of treats for her to try at home before I committed to buying an entire bag. I had just moved to the area and expressed my concern for my kitty and her anxiety and they recommended something to plug-in to help calm and ease her. I truly believe if you give someone good customer service, they will continue to be loyal to the business and return.

Best and genuine customer service anywhere in PDX. Been starting to frequent here more for little things for my furry babies and everyone is so helpful and makes it easy for me to find what I’m looking for after a long day at work. Worth spending a little more for quality items and great service.

Mud Bay does to pet stores what Starbucks does to local coffee shops. A once-local now-chain-store from Washington opens up shops in neighborhoods with already well-established locally-owned pet stores. Just take a look at Google maps and you’ll see how they strategically place their locations.

They have the kitty litter we like, the pine pellets stuff, it's reasonably priced. I think it's cheaper than Amazon by the pound. The people that work here are also pretty funny and get off a few one liners that are pretty solid. I would definitely buy the stuff my cats poop on here again.

The staff at this and other Mud Bay stores we've been to are just wonderful-- helpful, compassionate, and proactive. Most recently, we came to this N. Williams location to find kidney-friendly soft patés for our elder hospice kitty who is underweight and has a hard time eating. A kind staff member suggested we try a particular high-calorie paste treat that we didn't even know existed. She loves it! We are big Mud Bay fans.

One of my favorite Mud Bays, easy covered parking around back & front parking on the curb. Fast check out with knowledgeable employees & friendly atmosphere. So far considerate customers durring covid rules too!

I've been going to petco/petsmart over the years but I just moved here and really liked this store better has a more "local" feel and a great variety of cat stuff ! They have a very fair and easy return policy as well

My mother and I went here to purchase a travel crate for her Chihuahua before her trip to Eugene for Christmas. They were very helpful in finding what we needed in time for my mother to catch the train. They have a good variety of natural dog food available and offered samples. They only offer products for a limited kind of pets but they do sell just about everything you'll need for your four legged kiddos.

I can't tell you how much my service dog, Winter and I LOVE this store and their staff. They're so knowledgeable and helpful. They've helped me pinpoint solution for itchy skin and helped educate me on nutrition for my super active pup. We go weekly and it's my dogs favorite spot. The prices are great and they have the best selection of natural foods and treats.

My dog has stopped eating hard food and is apparently really picky on which food she wants to eat. I went to Mud Bay searching for the right one for her and they let me take 3 different soft foods to try out, free of charge. This was amazing and really helped me a lot. She really enjoyed 1 of the 3 that we got and I will be going back exclusively to Mud Bay here on out for all my dog food and treats needs. Thanks for great customer service.

This location was my only pet stop when I lived in the area for a year bc it had everything I needed but most importantly the staff was always consistently great and friendly. I hardly ever needed help but they were always so welcoming. Usually the same faces which isnt necessary, of course, but the people were just so great. I moved and went to another mud bay by me and it's not the same!

This is the best pet supplies store. Their staff are so knowledgeable, and can answer any question and offer great suggestions and solutions. When my dog was having trouble eating, they gave me 3 complimentary cans of food they thought she would like, and another 5 samples of toppers they thought would entice her to eat. They're always so friendly and happy to help. They have a great selection of snacks and chews for dogs, and a good selection of food, supplements and other supplies. The prices are good, but the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff are what keep me coming back.

I love the Fromm line they carry for dogs and cats! All the variety in the small bags they carry lets me keep my pet interested in her food! Grain free options and great selection for CBD treats, my girl loves the calming chamomile ones.Great toy spread. Tough chewers even have some options. A little more love towards those tough chewers would lead to five stars, but otherwise a great shop.Free samples of treats are fun for the babies, too!

Just left here almost in tears. There's something so special about finding a pet store who are genuinely as obsessed with your dog as you are. I went from thinking I'd sign up for a Chewy account today to only coming here. Brandy and Chloe were so awesome, well-informed and educational about the products and they give you up to 3 free samples of the food each visit which is so helpful for a new dog. I'd give them 10 stars if I could :)

This place is great. They're really helpful for finding the right cat food brand! They have little sample baggies of dry food, and they have a program where you can take a can of three different wet foods you've never tried before. You can only do three at a time, but you can come back and try three other cans later.They also give you little samplers of treats when you buy stuff. :) This time they gave me a little baggy with catnip!

Very friendly and helpful! I just adopted my first dog and they were so great helping me find a sweater, toys, and food (aka all the things).I bought a plush squeaky toy which my pup promptly destroyed, came in a few days after and they readily offered to replace or give credit for another item.

Great pet store! Large variety of products, knowledgeable staff who clearly love animals. I brought my cat in on a leash, and she was very accepted and popular. Would definitely recommend this store for almost all pet needs. Skews a little "all natural" for me, but I don't hold it against them.

Always come in here. Probably a weekly occurrence. Our dog will drag us to the door. And the staff will play with her until she’s worth out. She loves this store. I alway want to go in here just to see how happy she gets. Will always be coming to this store for good treats and the best staff!
