The staff is always so helpful. They are super clean. And I love to get the bulk bin lamb liver and other such treats for my dog. Plus, they offer treats for your pets at checkout. My first time there they gave me a special welcome package with a coupon and some treats. Great company.

My friends and I were in today browsing dog foods and searching for a 'no chew' spray. we asked an employee, Tyler for help and they did a great job. they gave wonderful input and suggestions for our dog and his diet. they informed us on raw feeding, gave their personal experience with raw food, and helped educate us. they let us know our dogs chewing habits could be due to a lack of variety in his diet. amazing customer service and dedication to their role as a team member. Tyler did a great job and we wanted to suggest this store location because of them. they did a great job, and gave great information.

Had the BEST experience yesterday. Recently adopted a new pup, and stopped by to pick up some essentials. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and caring. Sprung a gift bag on us at the end of our visit with snacks and helpful info for the new dog owner. Clean shop with excellent high quality products at a fair price. Absolutely going back!

Well organized, and lots of healthy and quality items to choose from. Me and the puppy were trying on raincoats and halters today. We were also overdue for some wet & dry food. Though we were not parked very far away, I was stocking up on things and had my hands full of puppy, so Char kindly offered to walk my bags out to the car. All the stars!

We want to give a shout out to Colby who is so unbelievably patient, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. We came in with a puppy who needed to be fitted for a harness. We sent this poor guy in multiple directions, multiple sizes, with a hyperactive puppy who hadn’t released enough energy to be calm enough to be fitted on top of the additional requests we had. Colby supported us and even stepped aside to gather himself when things became a bit overwhelming so that he could continue to show up for us. We are sooooo appreciate of him and want to apologize to him as well as thank him for being a kind human.

MudBay in Sellwood is finally open!!! They opened on Saturday 9/18/21.I am such a huge fan of MudBay and I have been watching the store anxiously awaiting their opening in Sellwood Today I asked my daughter to go to another MudBay to pick up some dog food and she let me know that the Sellwood location is open. Yippee!!!I rushed over here tonight after work to pick up Rex’s dog food and welcome them to the neighborhood!The two women that were working tonight were super sweet and friendly!Every MudBay location that I have gone to has Superb customer service, a spectacular selection and excellent prices!Rex and I will be here a lot!!

I normally love Mud Bay and have had nothing but great experiences. Today was the first day I had a negative experience. I went in only shopping for cat items. When I was asked if I needed help I said I was just picking up some stuff for my cat. When I did require help, the associate (young woman with long, curly hair) was fairly cold and when I asked if they had a product similar to one on the shelf I was directed to another area of the store. I didn’t think much of it as I had made it clear I was shopping for a cat. I now realize I should have definitely double-checked as the product I had been directed to was for dogs and has an ingredient that is toxic to cats. The associate I spoke to on the phone to confirm if this is something that is or isn’t safe for cats was very helpful and apologetic for the confusion. I am extremely glad I did not open this product or give any to my pet before I caught this. I am frustrated at the lack of consideration from my encounter earlier in the day and the fact that I will now have to rectify a mistake that should have never happened had there been better training or more consideration. I am not sure if the issue was that the associate genuinely did not know it was a dog-only product with a toxic ingredient, or if she was being careless in responding to my request. Again, this is not a complaint against Mud Bay as a company as I do really like their mission and their selection (there are still things that I have to get from other places) and I will continue to go there. I am just very disappointed that something like this would happen. And I will be definitely double-checking product recommendations more closely in the future.

This is my cat and dog store. We go here for everything and the staff is always nothing but friendly. At this point I think my partner and I have stopped in over 20+ times and never had a negative experience. Almost always they toss an extra freeby treat for our cat and dogs too.They also don't keep many of the poor dog and cat food brands so it's easy to shop smart and healthy for your critters. Plus the staff normally have fun tips on cool ways to give your pals treats that keep your pet's brains working.

Very good pet store. The staff is very friendly, my girlfriend and I brought her mini pig (he is 2 years old and 170 lbs) and dog in the store. They paid a lot of attention to both of them. The selection of items including treats is large. They even have a scale to use. But we couldn’t get the pig to get on it. I highly recommend this store and they even gave us a $5 off coupon for next time.

The woman who works that was very rude to me and my foster dog while I shopped there. She even went as far as to say to her coworker that she “wished she had less nice papers to put inside of (the) bag” with our purchase in it. She didn’t put anything in with our purchases to keep them from slipping around. Their treats also made one of my clients’ dog very sick from the treat bar. I don’t think it gets cleaned out as often as it should be.

We buy our cat collars here. They gave us free samples of cat food for our picky cat. He loved it and we now have a healthy product to feed him. Very thankful! The people who work here are very friendly and helpful!

Love this place so much!!! Friendliest staff ever, they’re always super helpful when I need help and have given me great recommendations on toys, treats and doggie dental hygiene.My favorite things to get here: the giant bottle of salmon & pollack oil, eco-friendly poo bags, locally sourced frozen meats/bones, scoop-your-own treat bins, kelp powder (recommended by my vet for my pup’s teeth!), natural itch ointments and organic paw pad balm.And that isn’t even all I love to get there. Legit, if you have a dog, go check this place out. Its my first stop when I need supplies, and it’s been a lifesaver for us and our dog!!!

Dopest Dog Shop in Portland!!! We were randomly drinking over in Sellwood, we've been to almost every dog shop over here, and we were just blown away by some of the prices! (Seriously think we brought like $10-$15 worth of random dog treats to the next bar before heading home haha...) Staff is super friendly, really love the selection of stuff! Even around the holidays they seemed to have some really cute seasonal stuff! Highly recommend anyone with a dog or a cat to head over to Mud Bay! Place is Dope!!!

I have been so excited for the Tacoma street location to open! I finally got a chance to visit today and was not disappointed. I received wonderful customer service from very lovely people. They asked about my pets and any allergies. Super satisfied with my visit, can’t wait to come back.
