I can’t believe how quickly they bathed and groomed my 90 pound doodle puppy! The cut wasn’t exactly perfect but dang good for the price! My dog seemed happy when we left, too.

After years of hearing my poor chihuahuas scream and cry with mail trimmings, my daughter recommended Mt. Scott Grooming. My dogs never made a sound. Great price and wonderful people. Highly recommend. 💕

We were recommended to come here by our vet for trimming my long haired cat’s fur. She wasn’t matted, but she doesn’t do a good job of grooming herself and doesn’t like to be brushed, so I wanted her trimmed before she could develop mats. She looks so cute! They shaved her body fur down to about a half inch and trimmed her tail up to match. The hair cut would look very natural for a short haired cat if it weren’t for her cute little fluffy head and arms! Thank you so much for helping me keep Katie happy and healthy!

This groomer is awesome just don't question him about anything. I asked him both times if he cut her hair and he refused to let me bring her back. I told him in the beginning that she looked great so a little disappointed ☹️ I wouldhave definitely taken her back

Our dog went in for a groom a few weeks ago and has since developed some large open wounds that we have linked to the time of his last cut at this establishment. We do not think the cuts on his back were intentional. However, they have cost us quite a bit in vet bills/medications now. The establishment does not look very clean which you will see upon entering. The groomer likely nicked his back with unclean sheers when he was being cut recently. Would not recommend this place. Pay a little extra for the piece of mind that your dog will not have open wounds. All this to say he now has a patchy shaved coat to boot.Do not recommend. The price may draw you in but the overall costs will add up.

We have tried this place a few different times. It is in our neighborhood and really wanted to support them, and they were close to us. The first time, it took them 3 weeks to call me back. I did take my dogs in, and I felt like it was an average experience. However, I could not stand the way one of my dogs smelled. The shampoo seemed really awful, smelling. I also tried to cancel an appt for one of my dogs because she passed away. They were pretty unkind, "Well, if you do not know her appointment date and time, we can not help you." No, sorry for your loss or any compassion. This wasthe last straw this week. I called ahead and asked if they do walk ins for nail trims. They said yes. My husband went an hr later, and they told him he had to make an appointment. They would not do a nail trim on our healthy, calm older dog. So they just seem disrognaized and inconsistent or that you can count on them for much.

You know someone is trustworthy when your dog goes himself to their leg the second you walk in 🙂This handsome fella got a wash, condition, trim, and peripherals for $40 and the folks who run the place are sweet as can be.One heads-up: they are cash only, so make sure to bring enough cash to tip!

Friendly and fast. I dropped in to have my Scottie’s black nails with long quicks cut and they did a superb job making sure the quick wasn’t cut but nail clipped as short as possible. I will be back. Also, very affordable!

We took our 2 ragdoll cats here. One rec'd 2 cuts on her stomach & we were not informed. The next day, we took her to the vet & $160 later, we were told that she was healing fine & vet said it is easy to cut a cat during grooming. When we mentioned it to the owner, he said he said we were not welcome back. He makes an error, doesn't own up to it, when it was politely mentioned to him that this had happened, & then he fires us. We were simply informing him that we would have liked to have been told at the time. This defensive posture prompted this negative review.

Brought my standard poodle here a handful of times. Cuts were fine, nothing special and not perfect but better and faster than I could do at home. But the most recent haircut he came home and a few days later we noticed one of his poodle bumps had been cut and was infected. Bad. Did a round of antibiotics but he has a scar there now and the hair hasn't grown back. This place might seem great with how quick they get you in and the price but it not worth it. Also, they didn't even tell us they had cut him!

I just recently started taking my dogs Scout & Bruce to Mt. Scott Grooming and I couldn't be happier! The service was extremely attentive and beautifully done and our groomer was very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend bringing your pups here!

Great groomer! I took my long haired Scottish fold to get his summer lion cut. He looks so handsome! They did a great job on his cut, it only took an hour (which is less stressful for kitty), and I saved over $100 from the place I took him last year. I’ll definitely return to Mt Scott grooming!

I took my dog here a few years ago. When I picked him up he had blood stopper on half of his toenails and some blood on his coat. They also buzzed his lower body instead of properly trimming his hair. He was shaking and upset when I picked him up. Do not take your animal baby here.

I never leave reviews but this have to for this place! I have a very grumpy 17 year old rescue cat who hates having her nails done. Took a chance and brought her into Mt Scott grooming this week and he took care of her in about 2 mins, didn't even have to restrain her or anything! Price was incredible and service was awesome. I'll never take my cat anywhere else from now on!

I've bought my dog in multiple times (today was 7 so it was free)! He always comes back less stressed than when we goes to Petco. They do a good job and I will continue to support them. Today, a newer person I've never met before who checked my dog in said said my dog looked evil and that his eyes were evil (?!) which was kinda hurtful even though he is super sweet gentle senior with arthritis. Her comment took me by surprise but the groomer who groomed him said he grooms good. She does a great job and has good attention to detail. I hope my tip goes to her. Thank you!

I love Mt. Scott Grooming so much! I will never take my dog anywhere else. The two groomers are both super sweet and caring. Every time I pick my dog up from them she seems so happy! They also use this lovely product that makes her coat so shiny and soft. I have a 20lb Miniature Australian Shepherd who usually is terrified of going to the groomer, but I’ve never had any problems here :) :)

I bring my rescue pup to Mt. Scott Grooming, periodically for baths and nail trims. The groomers at Mt. Scott Grooming are always very friendly and accommodating towards both myself and my dog. They offer top notch service for more than fair prices. My dog is never reluctant to enter the building. Instead he bursts in with such excitement, so I feel comfortable leaving him as I know he is treated well.

Had my cat groomed last year, and I think I'll find another groomer for his next trim. My first impression was the STINK at the front door. It REEKED of cigarettes so strongly that I couldn't imagine how they think that is a good practice for a business. It is so unwelcoming. I almost turned around, but decided - against my better judgement - to give them a shot. When I walked in the door, I realized that my cat would be groomed in a tiny front space, open to the public (strangers walking in & out) and smelling of cigarettes. My cat is a skittish rescue & I cannot put him through that stress again.Reading other reviews about infected cuts, I'm feeling skeptical about their hygiene practices, or disinfecting their trimmers. My pet deserves a lot better.

Today is the second time I brought my Alaskan Malamute, Dakota, to Mt. Scott Grooming. Dakota’s nails and coat looks and feels so soft. Both times I’ve picked her up she was so happy. They are thorough, caring, and offer a great price. They even saved Dakota’s dry undercoat for me because I am making a scarf out of her fur. Convenient location too!

My dog doesn't have long hair but I knew he needs some sort of trim so I took him here. They did such a great job! He looks so groomed and nice now:) they got a lot of places I wouldn't of even thought needed it. Very happy with my experience.

Mt. Scott Grooming - this was our first visit to this business. Our anxious greyhound needed her nails trimmed. The man and woman were polite, professional and the job got done in minutes! The man talked to our dog the whole time. We appreciate the walk in service. Happy with them!!

They are quick, efficient, and very professional. They are also very loving to my dog. Nail trims are on a walk-in basis and don't require an appointment. I love that.

Mt Scott was able to get me in fairly quickly, which was a plus, but the experience overall wasn't great. When you walk up to the door, there is a small area that the staff uses for smoking, and it was pretty gross/stinky. When I arrived to pick my dog up, the older groomer was sitting and smoking right by the door. Also, while the girl who groomed my dog was SO nice, the haircut was uneven. There are areas where the length abruptly changes without any kind of transition, and I just wanted the same length all over - it's not a specialty/breed-specific haircut or anything. My dog also has a sore a little bigger than a quarter that I assume is from a slip of the clippers, and her ear also has a nick in it. I understand that some accidents happen, but the wound on her side is pretty large and I felt like they should have mentioned that it happened. They do give you half off for the first visit, which seemed great, but I can see why they'd need incentives to get people in the door.

Mt. Scott Grooming is excellent. My girlfriend spent a decent amount of time researching different groomers with in our area. Mt. Scott Grooming was not only the least expensive but they were so nice to our dog Zoltar. They greeted him with a treat and lots of pets. We purchased their bath package and he was in and out in under thirty minutes. They even let us schedule a time that worked for us to get him cleaned instead of putting him in a kennle to wait until they could get to him when they get to him. I highly recommend.

Mt Scott Grooming took great care with my 12 year old schnoodle with a serious back injury. Im so glad we finally found them. We’ve been to multiple groomers over the years. My dog hates to be groomed and over the past few years has re-injured his back during his grooming appointments. Mt scott grooming understood how to handle a dog with a back injury and kept him from re-injuring himself. We are so grateful for their care of our dog.

I have a 55lb labradoodle who was super matted and full of burrs after a walk at Thousand Acre Park. I wish I could remember the owner's name, but he and Gina were SO NICE and sweet to me and my dog. I let them know about her sebaceous cysts and skin tags that sometimes get in the way of razors, and they were very receptive and took excellent care. And the cost was incredibly reasonable, PLUS the 1/2 off first grooming!! Highly, highly recommend Mt. Scott Grooming! Can't thank them enough!(When I was leaving, the owner was waiting outside to help the next customer find his shop. Super kind and helpful!)

I was exceptionally pleased with my Maltese's groom. The staff were very personable, friendly and listened to my concerns about my dog's needs. I really like that they use hand held dryers, not the enclosed ones that can scare dogs and have been known to be dangerous. I also like that they have a quiet, clean environment. I will be back!

Our boy is a rescue and HAAAAAAATES having his feet touched. He's a sweet, loving boy until you touch his feet/nails and then he flips out. I brought him in today for a nail trim and the man working was so patient and sweet with him. It took two of us to keep him still enough for the nail clippers, but we got it done and for a reasonable price. He even gave our dog a treat after! We'll be back.
