I came in for garlic to plant and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. I also noticed they have fertilizer in larger bags for way cheaper that I current pay. I’ll be excited going back :)

What a fabulous experience with Linnton Feed and Seed and I never even went there!Let me explain: I needed straw bales for my garden but after calling a couple 'big box' home improvement centers with no luck, someone on my neighborhood Facebook page suggested Linnton Feed and Seed. Will answered my call and described their size and price and then I laughingly asked 'Gosh, I wish you guys delivered.' And he said 'How about now?' Within an hour, I had two straw bales delivered AND placed exactly where I wanted them by the driver named Darcy - who was just as friendly and efficient as Will was. This kind of customer service is rare and refreshing and I will always recommend Linnton Feed and Seed to friends and family! Thanks, you guys!

It was a real pleasure to go there. Our old store recently closed(retirement) and i had been here with my daughter before. They had everything we needed plus a great pair of ratcheting pruners for a steal of a price. Its a little farther for us to go (from Vancouver) but the prices were about the same and the service was awesome.

Great place with super helpful and friendly staff that clearly love animals and want to help set you up to succeed. I never felt like I was being pushed to buy anything but they were quick to excitedly go through the list of things I would need for my chicks that are arriving soon to make sure that I was fully prepared. I also prefer supporting local and they're good people.

Wow! I called with many questions, from containers to "worms". The man answered all my questions on sizes and prices without hesitation. He was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, etc.I want to thank him. I will buy from there.

We have been buying from Linnton Feed & Seed for years. Great place, great people, and reasonable prices. But it's the customer service that keeps us coming back. Even when I know sometimes we can get better prices elsewhere. Keep up the great customers service and selection and we will keep coming back. Support local business or we wont have great stores like this.

Excellent place to go, it's one of those places that not only has what you need but are very friendly to interact with. Also, lost my wallet in parking lot, customer brought it in, all cash still in there, so, great customers as well. Thanks to whomever that was!

Went there for the first time today to get supplies for a Catio that we are building. Huge variety of various hardware cloth and welded wire. Great disciubt for buying a whole roll. Great selection of chicks and baby ducks. This store is welcoming and the staff knowledgeable and very friendly. We will come back again. Worth the drive from Washington.

My favorite shop in Linnton. They have everything you need, from seeds to farming tools. Great for the urban farmer, people raising chickens or people who need supplies for that next serious DIY project. The staff are always willing to help you out with anything you need and this friendly charming store just keeps me coming back for more.

UPDATE: Shortly after posting my review, the Linnton Feed and Seed team reached out and moved quickly to special order what I needed, pick it up from the distributor (instead of waiting for the usual weekly delivery), and offered a discount for the product. They had it ready for me within 24 hours of the follow up call. They truly went above and beyond to get me what I needed - I just wish this was how they treated my order in the first place.Original Review: I've been special ordering equine supplements from Linnton Feed and Seed for a year now without issue. However, I placed an order more than a month ago and was told that I would be contacted when it arrived. Since then, I have called four different times and spoken to someone reassuring me it was purchased, and I would be contacted as soon as it's in. I called again today after not hearing anything for another week+ only to find out that it was never ordered. I want to support them instead of buying from a chain store, and I know mistakes happen, but this is simply careless.

Linnton Feed is a very unique store. Not just because of being a feed store in NW Portland but the depth and breadth of products for gardening, animals and hardware. Couple this with very friendly helpful people and a quirky bldg. from the 1920's and you begin to understand that you've stepped back in time when retailers were knowledgeable and helpful.

What a great place! Old school feed store farmers Mercantile. Go see this place . If you have a yard, garden, pets , house repair they have some of everything . Cats a dog they love to be scratched. Good people . Stop by.

Always a good experience thanks to the employees and to the one or more friendly dog's that are always there (probably under cover bosses). And if you can't find what you're looking for anywhere else there's a good chance Feed and Seed have it.
