We have been going to lexidog for grooming for years! We have had multiple groomers, and they are all great. They're also reasonably priced and allow flexibility in pick up time. We drop in the morning as others have mentioned. Typically they are available for pick up around 5 - but they're always happy and tired afterwards, like a day a doggie daycare! We will continue to be long term clients. Special shout out to Crissy for being so amazing our last several groomings!

I love Kristen at Lexidog! She is my dog Charlie's groomer and she always does a really great job and I never have difficulty getting him an appointment scheduled.Just would also like to add, I was referred to Kristen by my dog's orthopedic specialist. Charlie has severe luxating patella in both of his hind legs, and I trust that Kristen handles Charlie with the appropriate gentleness for his condition. All of the other staff I've interacted with there when picking Charlie up have all been very sweet and kind.

We adopted our new dog here. It was a grest experiance. They took good care of her and did a great job asking us questions to make sure we were a good fit for her. We couldn't be happier.

I took my two Standard Poodles to this overbooked and disorganized "salon" yesterday with an appointment at 9:30 for the first time. The groomer was 15 minutes late. The desk staff said she was stuck in traffic and the groomer said she had to pick up dogs on the way. Hmm. I went over my grooming needs with her and left to open my little business late because of she was late.At 4:00 pm I had not heard from them and called where they stated my dogs had not even made it to the grooming table yet: 6.5 hours later!!!! I was, then, informed that my "appointment" was not that. It was a drop off time and they get to the dogs for that day whenever. This was not explained to me up front. I did not get my dogs back until 6:45 that night. My dogs spent most of that day in Kennels!!!!! Sounds like abuse to me. And the kicker, they took a 25.00 deposit to even make the appointment. Guess what, they did not fold that into my final bill. They just kept it. I had to call back to get it. The cut had lawn mower lines down the back, the head pouf is crooked and slanted to the side. Also, there are several tufts of hair sticking out of one of the dog's side.Good Luck out there! Ill pass on this one FOREVER!

I do NOT recommend! I used to work at the Pearl location (now closed), and I was appalled at how poorly run this business was. Daycare is too small for 40+ dogs, there were usually no planned activities, dogs got bored and barked all day, and then got screamed at by the clueless staff. Dogs would get hurt and their injuries were not seen and taken care of right away. There were many safety concerns for the staff and dogs, including some negligence and sanitary issues. There were questionable management methods, disrespectful staff members, unethical treatment of staff by the owner, an unorganized system, and some outdated business practices. There was a high turnover of employees, no training offered in dog behavior or first aid, constant miscommunication between staff members, and passive management who refused to fix ongoing problems. All the incompetence by the staff and management constantly put the dog's safety at risk. On a daily basis during nap time some dogs were put into crates, then stacked on top of each other and put in a small closet with the door closed for over an hour! During my time there I was bullied by another employee, I told the manager and nothing was done about it. I was blamed for something that I didn't do, was screamed at and told by management that I couldn't leave, it was traumatizing. The owner has had questionable judgement, and I believe she uses manipulation and intimidation to control her employees. It was well known by many employees that the owner withheld our tips! My guess is that she pocketed the cash tips, this is stealing. This is not a safe place to take your dog and a terrible place to be employed. Suzanne, you need to do better and treat other women with respect. You are exploiting young naive people who have little work experience and little knowledge of how to navigate an abusive work environment. You know exactly what you are doing when you expect your workers to do many different jobs for a low minimum wage, under the threat of getting in trouble or being yelled at. Your business is failing because of your incompetence and inability to correct mistakes. I absolutely did NOT deserve to be treated with such disrespect and hostility when I worked for you. Now I know better. :)

Our dog is double coated and was completely shaved to the skin multiple times (for no reason other than they did not have a “long enough guard” for their clippers) by a Lexi Dog groomer. Not only did they give her razor burn, this has resulted in extreme hair loss. Her coat will not grow back in fully, it is very patchy and fine, and it’s been years now since they first shaved her. NEVER take your double-coated dog here. The environment in these places is also extremely loud, there are too many dogs crammed into small spaces, causing a lot of stress and anxiety for everyone. Overall bad experience and will be likely dealing with the consequences for years to come.

I have been coming to LexiDog when my dog Willy was just a puppy. Last week, he died after 15 wonderful years. He was a very happy, well adjusted and cared for child. We used to take him in on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons so he could have a break with his parents and do the things that dogs like to do. One reason our dog had such a wonderful life was the amount of devotion we showed to him. We never left him for more than a few hours, we sacrificed willingly our vacations and schedules so that he never had time alone. He was well mannered and sweet in every way. Part of our happy dog's life was due to the same level of care we found at LexiDog. Suzanne and her staff treated him as if he were their own. He was adored. They are in some ways part of our extended family. I cannot give a higher recommendation nor can I find the words that accurately express how appreciative we are to them for all the years of their friendship to our boy and the service they gave him.

We just loved the employees at Lexidog. After our pups first visit, they always remembered him when we walked through the door. They are very attentive to your dogs needs, whether that be feeding them, giving them rest time... whatever you say your dog needs, they listen to! Then at the end of the day your pup gets a report card and they give you a run down of how the day went. Our pup always gets so excited and nearly runs into the door trying to get in when we take him. Definitely recommend, same price for one day as a dog walker is for one hour, plus socialization!!!

It's ok, I took my dog here a few times for daycare and boarding and it's not the right place for her. She always seemed very happy to be leaving when I picked her up. I think for her it's just too busy and overstimulating, they put quite a lot of dogs in a playroom together. The staff was kind and accommodating, I just feel like they take on too many dogs at a time.

I was visiting from out of town and needed a place for daycare for my pup. Excellent service and we felt very welcomed. Chelsea was so patient, kind and genuinely cares about the dogs coming in! Goes above and beyond! Thank you from myself and Tessa!!

I visit this place solely to have my dog's nails cut because they'll use clippers in place of a dremmel. They can almost always accommodate walk ins, they're super quick, and they've never hurt my dog. Even though we only visit every few months, the groomer remembers myself dog's name and the tricks to keep her calm. I highly recommend the grooming services.

Extremely disappointed. We boarded our goldendoodle with Lexi Dog for 4 nights. On the day of pick up we received a call stating our pup had a cut in his. After calling them back for clarification they stated the noticed the wound that morning & that it wasn't anything to worry about. In fact one of the attendants stated "if it was my dog, I wouldn't rush to pick him up". So we didn't, my husband picked up our pup and it was bad. We could instantly tell our dog was in pain and we took him to the vet. The vet concluded it was an older wound , longer then 24 hours, and therefore stitches could not happen unless he went under general anesthesia. So the day after pick up our puppy went into surgery to clip and clean up the wound with10 stitches in his throat. We were stuck with a $758 vet bill and another $150 for follow up . Lexi dog is a joke . It took over three weeks for our dog to recover with two rounds of antibiotics.Since the event we have only received one follow-up call from the owner and we have yet to receive any compensation or formal apology . Our vet concluded that either our dog was bit by another dog or the chain-link fence at the facility on Macadam had punctured his neck. I have never been so infuriated, disappointed and disheartened in people taking care of my dog. Again, Lexi Dog is a joke. It essentially cost us over $1000 to board our dog for four nights . I'm glad we got our dog back to his healthy physical condition but his temperament with being boarded and other dogs has changed. Lexi dog is extremely unprofessional and in my personal opinion has no business dealing with canines. Please think twice before boarding your dog with them.

They literally saved our butts after a terrible negligent dog resort I turned to LexiDog to board my dog for a trip I was going to the next day. My puppy LOVED IT! And has been calmer too (thank you!!!) I will definitely always recommend them and my pup will be having playdates there whenever I'm going to be gone too long.

We love it there. Every single staff member is enthusiastic and clearly loves the dogs. They offer tons of services, give you a whimsical daily report card, and our dog always comes back tired - and always strains at his leash to go in!

Adopted a dog (Decker) at the West Side adoption center located at LexiDog through OHS. We had a great experience and the staff was VERY helpful in picking the right toys, treats, kennel and food for out new friend. They were also very knowledgeable about Decker's tendencies, had tips for welcoming him into our home and said to call in with any questions. Decker was very shy at first but is warming up quickly thanks to the tips these awesome people provided. Very happy we stopped in and were able to take home such an awesome dog.

You cant get any better care for your Dog. The level of care, the staff = everything is exactly like I would do if I owned the shop. Unlike many doggy day cares Lexi makes sure and staffs each of the dog areas with multiple people, not just one person. They also place dogs based on personality and play type, not on size. They spend the time to really get to know your dog; they are willing to accommodate special requests like extra 'nap time' for my frenchie who doesnt have an 'off' button when she plays. You can tell each person on the staff genuinely loves the dogs and what they do. I am very particular about the care my dog receives and wouldnt take her anywhere where I wasnt 100% comfortable with. I give LexiDog my highest recommendation.

Couldn’t say enough good things about this place. It was recommended to us from a previous employee and would recommend to anyone looking for daycare/boarding. We would drop off our young Aussie (lots of energy) for daycare and he came home TIRED every time.

Grooming. Imagine when I called to ask for the next free appointment for my pup with Simone the receptionist said „No. Don’t call again“ hung up!I can’t believe it. I appreciated her grooms but my dog was always stressed out after 6 plus hours in the crate/on the table.

I trust my dog with the manager and employees (aka dog lovers) who work here. I looked around at many day cares before deciding the Macadam Lexidog location was the best fit and could provide genuine care for my dog.

Our favorite groomer left. New groomer didn't do a good job. One dog got razer burn. The business is fine, but we won't go back to that groomer.

I was treated poorly when having to deal with their manager who is so unprofessional and rude. I left a message for the owner but she nevet called me back. All of my coworkers have stopped bringing their pups to the LexiDog on Macadam and everyone had a reason.

The pet treats bakery is quite novel and you'll find almost anything you need for your pup in their store. Friendly staff and huge indoor space for Fido to play!
