Based on reviews I made an appointment for my dog. She was so overdue for a grooming. They got her in to fit my schedule. We got the call she was ready and had her picked up in 10-15 minutes. Gabby was happy and we were happy. Price was very reasonable.Second visit to do a cleanup and nail trim. Still impressed with efficiency and professionalism even in the midst of the remodel of the building exterior.

I've been going to Angela to take care of Rufus and Peep. She does an amazing job, is always on time, and tells me up front if there are any matts and how short she might have to cut them. 💯 recommend

this Groomer is AMAZING! I took my two labs here to get their nails done. The gentleman working with both of my dogs was extremely fast, efficient and effective! My dogs and I have never had a better experience getting their nails done! Thank you!

I have to update my review as they shaved and nicked my little dog’s nipples and they gave her a “Summer cut” shaving all the way down to the skin showing a lot, uneven shaving everywhere, and uneven lengths under the ears. I have been here a few times prior and while they did a good job, this place has been a hit or miss twice now, because of this I will not return and cannot recommend this place anymore. They really don’t seem trained to cut toy dog’s hair, I only used them because my regular was out of town. This place has also increased prices drastically as of late.

Don’t take your pets to them, they are extremely careless and gave my pet an eye laceration as they ran their trimmer through his eye and eyelid. When I called them to report that all I got was “alright thanks bye bye”. Not even a courtesy apology or question. Attaching pictures to show how bad it is.I am never going back to them ever again. I wish there was something worse than a 1 star to share for this business

Update 4/20/23: still a great groomer. My dog is very nervous but they are kind and gentle with her. Very understanding and know how to help her through it as best as possible given her anxiety. She always comes home smelling and looking great!My dog and I had a great experience here this week. I have a lab who is nervous around other dogs. It is hard for me to find a place to get a bath, nail trim, etc where she can be comfortable and not come home scared.I stopped by a few days before to check it out and talk to them about my dog's special needs. They were so kind and understanding. I forget her name but the gal checked their schedule to find a time when they wouldn't be busy and could accommodate her need for a quiet experience. She came home clean, smelling good and relaxed!The location is convenient and easy to get to. It's clean and spacious so dogs aren't on top of each other. Reasonably priced and, most importantly, very kind and caring staff. I highly recommend Elegant Dog Grooming!

I have an 8 month old Australian labradoodle and have been bringing her here since she was 3 months old. I’ve tried other places in between at first but every other place I took my fur baby to messed up her signature teddy bear look (especially around the face) and they charged a ridiculous price for a sometimes piss poor job. Allan and his team here does a fantastic job of grooming AND has the best rates around. One time my pup got paint ALL over her face and body and Allan gently but thoroughly washed it all out without charging me extra for the time and effort! He makes every visit so pleasant and does such a great job for such a great price that it’s feasible to bring my girl here on a regular basis and not just during special occasions. Also, they try to be as accommodating as best as they can to any request. My pup and family love it here and will never go anywhere else.

Love this place! They have self washing for $15, $20 with nails cut. The tubes are always clean and ready for the next pup. My puppy peed on the blow drying station and the staff was so nice and helpful. My puppy loves getting baths here and I love how easy it is!

This is the second time I've used Elegant Dog Grooming for my 13-year old female Pomeranian. She has a lot of hair and takes time to groom. They handle her very well , and she's comfortable. I chose them because this little girl has trachea problems so i like to keep an eye on her. The way this facility is set up allows me to see her during bathing and grooming. She's comfortable here, and so am I. I'm very finicky about where i take my pets, but each time i've been here it's been enjoyable and respectful. The staff is nice, the facility, both times I've been there, has been very clean and doesn't have an odor. I'll be a return customer for a long time. Thank you for taking good care of my pet.

First of all, yes, this location does not offer the self wash however their 2nd location at the other end of 185th/Farmington does. It’s a straight shot 15min from one end to the other, no need for people to be dramatic…?However, their prices are great! Got my two senior dogs groomed for a great price. They smell great and didn’t come out anxious. Even squeezed them in right away and was done in an hour. Thank you!

I had a grooming appointment for Winnie at another place and the morning of they cancelled on me. I called around town trying to find a place that could get me in the day of and most places laughed at me. I then called Elegant Dog Grooming and even though they were booked for the day they worked me into their schedule to help me out. Despite being last minute it did not feel rushed. This was Winnie’s first haircut so was a bit nervous since it was a last minute booking. They did a wonderful job!

Elegant Dog Grooming opened in early November of 2017. It's clean, quiet and their prices are very reasonable. My neighbor recommended it to me. Today, we took our 8 month old labradoodle to visit the groomer at Elegant. Armando, the groomer who worked on our doodle boy, has over 20 years of experience and it showed in his confidence and gentleness. He was also very kind to me and took his time answering all of my questions.I asked Armando to show me how to care for the hair in doodle's ears and he happily demonstrated to me how he does it. Cayla, the lady who answers the phone offered to show me how to use their washstands when I take doodle back for a self wash. I feel like I will get good care and attention when I'm at Elegant.Check out Elegant Dog Grooming! I think it's a rare find!

Oh my goodness I had dog hair everywhere, I should of asked for deshedding shampoo, the citrus shampoo was the bomb, Ted enjoyed himself. I cleaned the bathtub out, I had about five cups of hair, 3 cups of hair on the floor, in the air. Very friendly!!

Great prices for self service dog wash. For non-self service where they do the work for you the results are very inconsistent due to staffing, we have since gone elsewhere. Marking two stars for the self service portion, otherwise would mark one star.

I’ve been going here for 3 years now. My pup is very sensitive after an eye injury a few years ago. Armando has made him comfortable at Elegant Dog Grooming. I confidently recommend him and his son as groomers who will be careful and kind to your pet. It’s very evident that they love and respect dogs. Of course, the cuts are excellent too.

We were shocked they managed to fit us in to get our toy poodle groomed. They were super fast, reasonable pricing and did an amazing job on our pups haircut. We asked for a specific length and style, which they cut perfectly. I would recommend this place to others and plan on going back.

The people at Elegant Dog Grooming were very pleasant and absolutely fantastic with my dog!They were very accommodating. We called in the morning and got an appointment the same day.My dog tends to be very shy and fearful. It’s always hard to leave her with new people but when we went to pick her up she was happy and excited. I was shocked at how quickly she settled in and enjoyed being there.The way they bathed and trimmed her looks awesome. She was quite fluffy and they did a great job knowing how to bring out the best in her.Prices were on par with other places we’ve had her groomed. We will be returning again and making this our regular groomer!

I took my Maltese (7lbs) here for a haircut last week and paid $90 (after tip) for basically a bath. They trimmed about 1/2 of an inch and when we called them saying it needs to be shorter they said it would be another $75. Not to mention they didn’t cut her nails or shave down her stomach at all like we asked. For a $90 haircut on my dog, I’d expect it to be above sub-par.

I've only taken my 3 elderly dogs here for nail trims. Walk in any time and they'll take care of your pup's nails! The staff is kind and friendly, quick, and careful. None of my dogs has bled after leaving here (at least one of the 3 has had a too-short qwik clip on every visit at past groomers). Highly recommended!
