I will start by saying the actual pharmacy technicians are so kind and wonderful. They’re always so helpful and great to interact with. I also love printing out photos here. The negative thing about this location is that they haven’t restocked a single makeup item since I moved here a year ago. I’ve come here maybe once a month for a year and never once been able to buy the makeup item I came for. Nails, lashes, just regular revlon, cover girl, you name it, they don’t have it. I don’t actually know how this location stays open.

I switched to this CVS pharmacy from the crime-infested Walgreens on Grand only to find another empty, dysfunctional store with rude pharmacists. The children running the pharmacy are unfriendly, too rushed, and ill-equipped to help should your transaction need any special attention.

No horror story to report. Went in to get earplugs, asked an employee who was stocking and she walked me over to the correct spot. Self checkout was quick. Overall a totally normal acceptable experience.

We are delighted to have CVS nearby. The staff are genuinely knowledgeable and kind. The pharmacy is professional and thoughtful. CVS always has what we need.

My wife has been trying to get a covid booster for a couple months, but they kept canceling on her. She lost her health insurance right before her 3rd appointment, and when she showed up they rudely told her it wasn't worth their time because she no longer had her insurance. The insurance she would have had if they hadn't canceled twice already. I hope that nasty employee she met gets fired. Maybe they'll learn a little empathy. US healthcare is terrible enough to deal with, we don't need nasty employees digging the knife in and bringing us to tears.

This place has more locks and cameras than a maximum security prison yet it takes 5+ minutes to get attention from the skeleton crew of staff to help you get something.Did I mention they use a LiveView camera outside the store to spy on the public and sell their facial records to data corporations?

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. They have no respect for anyone’s time. I had given them my information including my ID and my insurance card and they ended up spelling my name incorrectly anyways, and I never got a notification that my prescription is ready so when I got to the pharmacy, they said they had nothing for me, but it was because they had spelled my name incorrectly. They are not kind, and I will never be coming back to this establishment again.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Not their fault that our city leaders practically promote shoplifting so CVS has to lock things up. I'm grateful they've decided to still stay in business and support downtown dwellers like myself.

Literally the worst cvs I have ever been to. Want something basic, you most likely will not find it here. Shelves are rarely ever filled. On the rare chance you do find something you need, it most likely under lock and key. Even stuff that really shouldn't be. But if you love being creepily followed by security for absolutely no reason, you will definitely enjoy this place.

Saw the google reviews and sent my prescription here anyway, I had a great experience. Prior to pickup, they answered my call in a friendly demeanor & everyone was great in person when I came to pickup.The rest of the store was pretty hit or miss depending on what you need

This store is not just discriminatory and predatory, but a public nuisance. They have set up a flashing light at the intersection which blinds drivers and increases risk of accidents, records public pedestrians, and blares loud noises which keep neighbors awake at all hours.I was a frequent shopper at this store. Today I spoke with the store manager, Nathaniel, about the store's increased prices as they relate to its security measures. Nathaniel claims that the prices are "set by CVS," and repeatedly tried to obfuscate the store's chain of command in a dishonest fashion.Rather than back his claim with evidence, he tried to send me on a wild goose chase to a 1-800 number and several other CVS stores in the area. He also claimed that homeless individuals were stealing with the store but cannot produce evidence, making their discriminatory policy quite apparent. If the manager wants this review changed, he is free to contact me and provide evidence that his claims are false.To anyone who bothers to have read this far, there are alternative stores two blocks down which are mere gas stations with similar or superior prices. You can also find a friendly, responsive pharmacy at the stadium Fred Meyer or downtown Target.

The pharmacy is clearly understaffed and overworked. However, they are always so nice and polite whether it be over the phone or in person, and always resolve my problems to the best of their ability, they have even been able to ship my meds to me over the phone when the app was not working. So this is not an issue of customer service- seems like a company issue. The pharmacy was out of a medication so I had to go over a month without a medication I take daily. Another time they were unable to order another medication because there was a shortage (so not really their fault) So that was tough- my scheduled auto refills are never automatically refilled on time- so I end up running out and having to call to fill my scripts with a pharmacist or via the automated system. So it throws off any medication schedule. It’s a fairly new location so hopefully things will get better with time.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. This CVS has decided to keep the entire store under lock and key. Need some lotion? Lock and key. Want some shampoo? Lock and key Want a pint of ice cream? Lock and key. We get it CVS you hate poor people. Would have added all three to my cart while picking my prescription up but decided I don’t want to bother the very friendly and very helpful staff just to get the simplest of basic items. Probably won’t be back.

This pharmacy is ridiculous. I filed a transfer request days before my medication ran out, and when I called to see if I had been filled no one answered, so I came in store. I was told they were understaffed which is understandable i Used to work in retail so I get being understaffed is hard. The lady then pulled my transfer out from the printer which she then said they are backed up with orders from weeks ago. I do not have any pills left and when I don’t take my pills I get very bad nausea and vertigo , it has been two days without my pills now. She then said they would be done by yesterday and I would receive a text. Guess what, no text and when I called to see if it’s been filled, still no answer. This should be illegally as people can literally die without having their medications. Either they need more staff or The pharmacy needs to be shut down. Horrible experience and I am going to switch to another pharmacy.

I try to use this pharmacy every so often for the convenient location but unless you want to wait weeks for your prescription I recommend not going here. I waited on hold for hours and they said they’d give me a call back when my prescription is ready, It has been days and no call back. Just go to safeway

Generally not very well stocked but the staff are lovely and the pharmacy adequately preforms its intended purpose. The layout is easy to understand, and you'll generally be able to find what you're looking for on your own, but may need assistance anyhow since a lot of merchandise is locked up (this is portland, after all)

I am really glad to see the new CVS on SW Harrison, as it’s near my house though I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I just received. I came in to purchase a couple of items. I was greeted by a nice fella at the front of the store, which was nice. I found my items easily, which was also nice. What was NOT nice was the employee that rang me up. He was having a very loud conversation that I could hear while I was shopping, with someone that I think was another customer, possibly an off-duty employee (?, not sure). His back was facing the counter when I approached and had to be prompted by the person he was talking to that he had a customer after I stood there for a few moments. He turned around, didn’t say hello to me, rang up my items, and then in the middle of our transaction, resumed his conversation!! It was so extremely rude and he barely paid any attention to what he was doing. He revealed to the person that he was the MANAGER of the CVS which made it even more unacceptable. It was a frustrating, laughable experience because this is a brand new store and it seems like everyone should be putting their best foot forward. This was NOT behavior that should be put up with by any employee, especially a “MANAGER”. He was quite a joke.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Take into consideration that at the time of writing this we are still in the COVID19 pandemic and there is a health care worker strike but the service at this pharmacy has become dispicable. The pharmacy doesn't answer phone calls, meaning I've spent days calling multiple times a day to try and reach a staff member and have been on hold for over an hour until I'm forced to hang up. Therefore the only way to talk to a pharmacist or get a prescription filled (if for whatever reason you're not using the automated machine) is to go to the pharmacy, wait in line (recently, there has been one staff working and long wait times), and ask them in person to fill a prescription. This has led to me not having important medications when I need them. The automated system is unreliable and will tell me a medication will be ready the following day but it is never actually filled until I talk to a pharmacist directly. I'd reccommend using a different pharmacy if you want to be sure you'll get your medications.

I've always had a good experience at this location and I think the longest I've been on hold is 20 min. Obviously this store and many other places are understaffed and overworked right now. I suspect that a lot of the recent negative reviews are people with little patience or empathy.

Nobody ever answers the phone when I call. When I am there I watch them ignore the phone. I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes at a time with no answer. They also don’t fill prescriptions on time even if expedited by the doctor. I waited 12 hours today for my meds that were “processing”, the pharmacy has now closed and I never got my meds. Last week I had to show up and have them process my meds while I was there in person because I couldn’t wait any longer. I can no longer rely on this pharmacy and will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere.

Incredible experience from Shazia getting me a prescription that was urgently needed, that was lost in translation from my doctor’s. She went the extra mile filling it for me and finding it since they didn’t have it in stock. Besides that, I always have a really pleasant experience with the staff here!

An absolute trash fire—they allow other corporations to spy on the local neighborhood by contracting with LiveView and even the milk is locked up so you have to take up an employee's time just to get basic groceries.
