This place is absolutely amazing! I showed up here for the first time and they had been closed for an hour but the owner and wife were still in the store and opened up the locked door. I told him I desperately needed to get dog food and wasn’t going to make it to any other store in time to get my pup. Her amazing food that they have in stock there. They were so gracious and understanding, and even took time to talk to me about different tips with dog food and my breed of dog! I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place! Amazing Brands plenty of toy options tons of different food options and treat options and phenomenal staff!

Workers there are neutral.. No greeting but a guy did walk up and asked if I needed any help, which that was nice of him. They have a great selection of fish. They also sell use fish supplies for a discount price. The odor wasn't bad but neutral. Yes, it's kids safe and wheelchair accessible. The parking lot was super easy to find.

They are family owned and wonderful people. I have bought ferrets and supplies from Petco and other places. Two of my furry friends past away but when we bought our ferret at this place he has been heathy for now almost four years now. I only shop here now. Their wonderful and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. If you choose to support small, family-owned businesses, this is your place.They have supported and cared for me and the ferrets I purchased from them, even doing services for them that are not typically available through pet stores. The woman in charge of ferrets - Christine - is especially kind & knowledgeable.I cannot recommend them enough. Would happily give them 11 stars out of 5 if I could.PS. In the fifth picture, my girls are spelling out the word Io - one of their own names!! Would also 100% recommend ferrets as pets as long as you don't mind that they are high-maintenance & thoroughly educate yourself about them. They are WONDERFUL ESAs.

Employees aren't trained about their rats. They say it's fine to just get 1, and pick them up by the tail. One of the rats I got had red mites, and the 2nd rat had a respiratory virus and gave it the the 1st. His throat swelled and he nearly died. Very aggressive to each other as well, but that could be because they're unrelated. If I'd known they can't live alone, I'd have picked a sibling to go with the 1st rat.

Update**( so deeply saddened to hear they are selling the place by the end of this month but I heard good things hopefully about the new owners and some of the people are still staying there I heard I will still continue to go here and give them my business hopefully they are great and amazing as the previous owners thank you for your time we all love you guys here are some pictures since I recently spent about $500 of course not on fish stuff but dog stuff and fish stuff and here is the outcome check out the pictures thanks)Love this place the owner is very knowledgeable the whole family works here this is a great store one of the best and Portland possibly Oregon highly recommend you go here

I love this pet store. I have gotten a puppy 11 years ago and a month ago. They only carry what they can handle. Both my dogs are very healthy and happy. Great selection of everything for all pets. Staff and owners are always helpful and give you the right information even if its not what you want to hear. Can’t say enough good things and A to Z pets!

This is my favorite pet store in the area. They have a nice selection of everything beyond just cat and dog needs. I have more exotic animals and I can always find what I'm looking for here.

I have been going to A to Z pets since I was 10 and my parents even bought a pitbull from the owner. Kind people who know their stuff. Affordable prices, variety of animals and marine life. All around still a great store that I remember as a kid and now my kid loves going there too.

Love a to z pets!!! We come here for all our pet needs. Great prices and loads of different selections. They also have a friendly cat that always greets us when we visit. They have great pet selections. From cats and bunnies to snakes and tarantulas.

Great pet store privately owned. I've been going here for about 12 years now. Prices are a bit higher then you'll find online. But their resources and knowledge are worth it. The location is the worst part about it. There's a lot of crime in the area make sure you hide your belongings and lock your car doors and park as close to the storefront of possible.

I come here mainly for the aquarium and fish tank supplies and the livestock. It's a generalist pet store but they have a wider selection and more interesting aquarium stuff than you will find at many specialist fish stores. They also have a pretty cool setup and an unusual way of caring for their aquatic creatures.

Love family business. They have high quality products for all pet's and care about your ferry family as much as I do. Added a rat MR BUTTER BUTT! !!!and a perfect example of the match between our family and theirs enhanced by local love of community working together! !!!!thanks 🐀+🐕=💘⭐⭐⭐ below is" MR BUTTERS" #3 is the first day I bought him home! I absolutely love this place. They have a great selection of pet supplies for both conventional pets & tank dwelling pets. Their prices are reasonable and competitive. The staff has always been very polite and helpful.Since finding A to Z Pets, I've not needed to step foot into one of the large chain pet supply stores & I prefer to keep it that way.

Everybody in there is helpful, kind and care a lot about every living pet inside their store plus everything is decently priced. I would suggest this pet store over any pet store.
