Last year, we had our male cat neutered here; not only were they very pleasant people to be around, but they didn't try to talk me into services . BUT the best part was when we, a homeschooling family, went to pick our cat up at the very end of the business day and the Vet and his Staff gave the children a tour and showed them real X-rays, the sugry room, and all the cool equipment. This office is loaded with love! We are bringing our new female there for the same and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I had to take my 23 year old Russian Blue cat named Harley into them for an emergency visit the other morning.I called and they helped me right away. Told me to come in and get him checked out. They were quick, attentive and very helpful.They saw me right away and took care of Harley.He's feeling better thanks to them and we're very grateful for all the help and service they provided.If your animal is in need, they are definitely the place to go!

Let me tell you. I've been with pleasant hill vet for all my animals and have had GREAT care the entire time. Saw Dr. Craig seyler today for my kitty and he is so knowledgeable. I wish my own doctor was that detailed with my own care! It all starts with the receptionist who was caring and listened to get us in last minute even though they were so busy... Even his technician was so caring and gentle with my baby. Thank you guys ❤

I’ve been in a few times recently since I have three senior dogs at home. Kelsie at the front desk is super sweet! I ask a lot of questions and she is always kind enough to answer them with a smile and make me feel welcomed. When I apologized for it she replied, “All good, you are GOLDEN ma’am.” 😂 I thoroughly enjoy her vibes! There are at least two vet techs that stand out to me who are also very impressive and seem to authentically care for my pets, however. I don’t remember there names (sorry guys) :/. They all seem happy to be at work. Dr Larson takes his time with me during exams and never seems to rush through our time.

Pleasant hill animal hospital is the best. My dog is terrified of the vet and he acts out aggressively when he feels threatened. They have never made us feel bad about this and they have every precaution down so that everyone is safe and my dog is cared for. They truly care about my dog even though he’s a piece of work. I am so thankful for them. They have the same heart for my dog that we have, even though they don’t see his sweet side. I cannot recommend pleasant hill animal hospital highly enough. (Ps...they are about 45 minutes away from where I live...they’re that good. I cannot imagine going anywhere else).

Great experience here today for my pug, Leah.- First exam is free! Didn't know that going into it, so this was nice.- online appointment scheduling worked great.- they received and had access to records from my last vet, so there was no guess work.- Bethany was so nice and did a good job checking me in on the phone. Everyone I worked with was nice and knowledgeable.-COVID safety protocols were great and convenient. Maybe more convenient than the old way. From the parking lot, call to check in. They come out (masked), and pick up the dog and bring them inside for the appointment. It's a really safe and efficient way of doing things.- Recap call with doctor Larson was great!I'll be back.

The only people I trust with my best friend. Fortunately over the years my buddy hasn’t required a ton of care. Just checked ups here and there. No complaints. Always good vibes.Here we are 14yrs later. I recently went in thinking I was going to get news I didn’t want to hear. I was scared.Luckily (still not great news) my dog is diabetic. He has to take insulin twice a day. I was mortified at the thought of giving it to him, so afraid I’d hurt him. Dr. Larson was very comforting and reassuring and great at explaining it to me & answering my several questions. I’ve never felt rushed here. Now that my baby is a senior I feel we have the same end goal. I’ll do whatever it takes, as long as he is comfortable. Thank you. I’m so grateful.

I took my 16 w/o kitten for his first time appointment! He received great care and sympathy from the doctors and nurses. Everyone was really friendly and a couple people came and said hi to him, which made him a bit calmer in the new place. I was thoroughly informed of what the recommendations are, and was able to make an informed decision about my kittens care. Everything about P-Hill Animal Hospital is great, I love going here and don't ever intend to change vets!

We adopted a new puppy and needed to get him in for his last few puppy shots. They got is in within the week. When we got to our appointment everything was ready for me to fill out. The front office gal was extra friendly. I had to bring my 18month old along with me to the appointment. They had puzzles, books and a little table in the waiting area. Our Vet tech got back quickly. Friendly, got down on the floor to clip his toenails and ask questions. (we were sitting on the floor reading books) The Vet took her time for his exam, answered our questions, explained her recommendations. They had all the charges itemized, easy to understand and read prior to receiving treatments. Overall it was an excellent first visit. We will be back in 3 weeks for a booster and every year for his exam!!

Amazing service, very compassionate staff. Went in for the first time to have our family dog put down, and it was as good an experience as could be, given the circumstances. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and our dog was comfortable there. Location was nice for our dog, as it has a good outdoor area to let them sniff around. The staff even sent us a condolence card, which did help in our grief. We were very grateful to them for making his last moments as relaxing as possible. 10/10 would recommend this place over any other vet I've been to.

Dustin is the best tech in all the land! He was so kind and compassionate when I had to put my dog Luna down, and now with my new pup Bailey he treats her like his own. He goes the extra mile for his patients and their parents, and I know that when my pets are in his care I don't have to worry. He's the best!

Took my cat and got a free initial appointment. The vet called me in my car and was very informative. The staff came out to pick up and drop off my cat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bill was very clear as well which I was worried about but they were able to explain everything where I understood and my cat got the care she needed.They also advised on follow up care and made it easy.

My dog absolutely loves this vet! I had to take her in for an emergency she ended up having a UTI they were able to get me right in so she can get some relief. She never acts like going to the vet is a bad thing so that tells me they really treat her with love and care. I will always bring her here. Highly recommend!! All the staff I have ever spoken with is always friendly and professional and you can tell that they care and love what they do. Dr. Larsen is great and so informative!!! 💛🐕

There aren't enough words for how amazing pleasant Hill animal hospital is. We recently had to put our lab down. They were so kind and understanding and treated him so great. Our dog went peacefully and happy because they gave him such good attention and treats. They do a clay paw print for you afterwards and sent us a card. They really do care about the animals and owners. We've taken our other dog there and the price is so good and the staff is excellent.

I’m so happy with the staff at this animal hospital. My dog was treated amazing and is healing so fast after his surgery. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped save his life. These folks are phenomenal!!!! They helped with my cat's/dog's move to Hawaii and they were incredibly proactive, responsive and thorough throughout the planning and execution. Hawaii's Dept of Ag has complex and stringent animal import requirements and their Pleasant Hill team helped ease my mind with this costly and time consuming process. And....I had NEVER worked with them or their clinic before, and will likely not have any reason to do so in the future, which makes their AMAZING SERVICE even more impressive. Shout out to both Michele and Dustin for going above and beyond, repeatedly for to make sure that Elvis the giant schnauzer and our kitty Blanca had what they needed, vet-wise, to live on Maui. THESE FOLKS ARE ROCKSTARS.

All the staff is very helpful, informative and knowledgeable. I'm a new pet owner and they even printed out a whole packet of pretty much everything I need to know about dogs. They inquired if I had any questions and made sure I was completely satisfied. I was amazed with the level of service that was provided and will continue to go for all my pets needs. Received a free sample of flea and tick control after finding out my pup had fleas only hours before his appointment. Thank you phap.

I was extremely happy with the service, veterinary care, and prices at Pleasant Hill Animal hospital. As a former vet tech, whose sister is a vet, I appreciate the quality of the care my cat received. From a very thorough exam, to solid recommendations for both acute care and wellness care follow up visits, PHAH delivered. The tech handling my cat was careful and caring. And the receptionist worked hard to find a same day appointment for us. She called us back to schedule us for an appointment that had been cancelled. This is a professional animal hospital that's easy to access and has the friendly feel of a small town practice. As a new resident of Pleasant Hill, I'm thrilled to find we have this great community resource and no need to drive further to see a great vet.

We have been taking our new kitten to PHAH and have had superb service there from their very friendly staff. Dr Kent even spent extra time with me at each appointment to answer all of my question. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me assurance and comfort they were going to give my dog the best care. Price was affordable and my dog was given a free first time check up visit and a free flee treatment.I'm confident we will have a long standing relationship with this animal hospital.A Emergency changed how I feel about this clinic. My dog ate a toy consuming the inside guts. Not much but he did. Diarrhea was horrifically abundant but after many individuals made me feel guilty I didn't rush my dog to this vet, I did. I let them know he was ratting fine..no vomiting..was still playful. And that I didn't want a lot of test done and perhaps it was a ear infection. The asst. Was told not to perform every test unless necessary after seeing him . I was to leave and they would call after the exam and xrays. I had to give them half the money on the spot. 350.00 I think.When I returned they had performed every imaginable test and charged me a additional 600.00 + and said he was fine. I will never go back. They took advantage of their knowledge my ability to pay and they never checked his ears.

Initial appt. included comp physical and vaccinations; secondary visit for dental treatment. Staff was just great! Telephone communications clear and friendly, "curb-side" contact and pick up of my cat went smoothly. Costs were reasonable and we now have a permanent VET! Thank you all.

More than I could ask for. Everyone is very professional, nice, and knowledgeable. My regular vet could not get me in for two weeks. I called PHAH and was put on an emergency fit in. They got me in same day within a couple of hours. My cat was taken care of so well, his wound cleaned out, and he only hissed twice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my cat and especially myself.

Not the friendliest receptionist or Dr. Most interaction was relayed by the assistant, which was very inconvenient and unpersonable. We felt like they just wanted our money and not to really spend time doing a thorough job with our dog. They seem as if they are too busy to be performing their best service.

One of my cats has been seen several times by the doctors there. They are great with both the animals and their people and take time to explain the nature of the illness and possible treatments. They don't rush to the most expensive option immediately but rather begin with simpler diagnostics and add to those if needed. My most recent experience was purchasing prescription food for my cat. The price was much more reasonable than I have experienced at other veterinary hospitals and I will be purchasing food from them in the future rather than from an online site. All the staff, including the veterinarians, are very welcoming. I'm new to the area and am very pleased to have found veterinarians whom I can trust.

We had our rabbit neutered at this little lovely animal hospital. Everyone was very friendly. This animal hospital is a hidden gem that is for sure! We loved how they treated our rabbit so much that when we got a new puppy and he got sick we immediately called them. We told them that it was an emergency and they got us in to see the vet that day! We were very appreciative since we did not want to take our puppy else where. They have great staff and really care about your animal. I highly recommend this animal clinic!

Over the years with our dogs, we've been to several vets/animal hospitals. I was referred by a friend to Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital, and though it's a little bit of a drive, it's well worth it. They are the friendliest people, and have great compassion when we had to put our lab down. I tell all my animal friends to switch and come on out to Pleasant Hill. They won't be sorry!
