Terrible experience, it was my mother's birthday and I wanted to order her some flowers. She lives in the middle of no where so she was coming into town for birthday dinner she was to pick them up at 7pm. Got a confirmation email that they were ready for pick up. My mom gets there and they tell her they don't have an order like that. Thanks for wasting my mom's time on her special day. Don't recommend especially floral department

This Safeway is amazing and I have nothing but good words to say about them, especially the drive up order staff. They are so considerate and accommodating. I have two babies and needed an order sooner than what the app would let me and they got right on it. Every time I use the drive up the staff is so friendly and happy. Always willing to help. The only thing I would change is to allow them to accept tips!! I try to tip them but they aren’t allowed to take. These guys deserve to at least take tips. Amazing place with amazing staff.

While I don’t really enjoy going here either, it *is* better than Wlamrat. Fresher produce. Legit Americanized Asian food deli.Sadly, with an increase in quality, an increased price is sure to accompany. But, w/e.

BEST DELI BACON!!! Decent prices on deli foods as well. My FAVORITE thing to do here is check out their clearance isle though in the back by the milk/creamer/dairy fridges & next to the pharmacy. I always find THE BEST deals there on items that are useful to have.

Normally I don't leave reviews however. An older female employee with long gray hair felt as if she was the most important one walk through the store not once but twice did she almost hit my cart. Racing by with her cart the first time I barely managed to get out of HER way. The second time I had to practically run over my husband to move out of her way. which there could have fit maybe three of her with a cart. But instead chose not to budge an inch. Normally I wouldn't complain but I'm injured and unable to move quickly which I'm sure is why she thought she had the right away because I'm younger!!! I even called out loudly and she didn't care to stop and apologize. Apparently customer service is at the bottom of the barrel at this place or at least with this employee. I wish I would have gotten her name because her name would be on this!!!

Quick shopping trip, in and out, got everything on my list. 2-20-22 I went to the pharmacy. There was no line! Things have improved for sure. 5-9-22 mid-afternoon and no pharmacy line!9-20-22 3:00 pm - Pharmacy had an 8-customer line but it moved quickly. Same when I left. BTW - I now get my Rx by mail.12-31-2022 Drive up and go: a favorite way to shop.2-22-24 Safeway pharmacy reversed the direction of the wait line. I couldn't figure out why all these people were looking at me like I is was a dummy. Oops, wrong way.

good clean store lots of choices but price for name brands much more than Wal mart. Their app is difficult to use and the deals you have to scan often very difficult for some reason then even after scanning you have to clip phone often has no bars inside so they do not take.

Our local Safeway has gone downhill since the pandemic and maybe a bit longer. They apparently struggle to attract and retain staff. Turnover is quite high. As a result of staffing issues not enough checkers are available especially during their busiest hours. The quality of the overall shopping experience has diminished to the point long time customers are bailing even though our only other options in town are Walmart or Food For Less.

ive only been in their a handful of times and the customer service is always really good, but the only thing that drives me nuts is the way the aisles are set up (food section than random, then back to food, etc.). but rather than that, no issues!

Best place in town to buy meat, produce, deli items and bakery items. The store is always clean and they have some outstanding sales. Plus, the gas station has the best attendant's around. It's enjoyable to shop their.

This Safeway is always a disappointment. Only has 1 checker open the majority of the time, even when the self checkout line is completely lined up down the aisle. The staff is decently friendly and helpful, thankfully, but the location itself has become surrounded by homeless individuals, and the recycling area is filthy and often looks like a camp of some sort.Their sandwich deli is closed, which was one decent feature they had going for them.Sadly, it is one of the very limited options for shopping in town anymore.

This one star review is for the chronicSafeway PHARMACY Issue:When Bimart closed their pharmacies several years ago, it put a huge burden/strain on remaining pharmacies in small towns. In Pendleton, we now only have 3 pharmacies: Rite Aid, Walmart, and Safeway.Unfortunately, the Pendleton pharmacy is typically 400 RXs behind at any given time and they are unable to catch up.1) It's not uncommon to see 10 people standing in line to get their prescriptions.2) The RXs are never ready when they're supposed to be if you order them automatically via phone.3) Because they're so busy, customers can't get through by phone. You can call on and off throughout the day and still not get through.Some solutions might include:1) Enlarging the pharmacy so more pharmacists and technicians can work during the day.* Add more storage, so medications have a higher probability of being in stock.2) Adding a row of chairs for older or disabled customers,3) Allowing technicians to work a night shift to catch up on RXs.4) Hiring extra staff - staff can get cranky because they're so overworked.Why is Regional and/or National store management so poor that they don't fix the chronic problems? Safeway, you can provide better pharmacy services.

The gas attendants are always in good spirits. Being stuck out in the wind , rain & cold is never fun.I enjoy shopping in the store except for the digital coupons. They never work. Technology and I get along everywhere else. So I miss out on some good deals. That's why I didn't give a five star rating.

The employees who work in the pharmacy are sweet and nice and polite and friendly.The store is clean and the aisle are very clean. Sometimes there's a long wait to reach the counter just to get your medication.

At Safeway on a Saturday and there's 6-7 carts in the only two lines. Couldn't find a manager, called the store and got in touch with them. I asked if they would open another lane, manager seemed to not care and said that was all lanes we were getting. I like to think I'm understand, if they said short staff or other issues I felt like if understand. But just asking got me a lot of attitude on our phone call, like I had the audacity to even ask. Maybe she was having a rough day, or others asked, but it was just a awful interaction.Also props to Tim for coming from another department and helping out because of all the backed up lines. Dude was awesome.

I can understand they want to have their donuts fresh, but it's a pretty good indication that they're not making enough, when they are out of donuts at 10 am. Other than that, the employees are all friendly. There are plenty of check out lines, always open.
