there is no lobby or check in desk, the push key code was sent to us, so we were able to move in and stay. Very comfortable. This is an older place so it has some wear factor but clean and nice. The shower could use some updating but it worked fine. I'd stay here again. Don't expect 5 star resort quality, but it was perfect for my wife and me. The wild fires were going on nearby so the water tanker trucks were going by all the time but it didn't bother us. I think the walls would be pretty thin if you had a noisy neighbor but all was quiet when we were there.

The Sage Rooms are wonderfully located for anyone exploring Oregon's Outback (Highway 31). Duane operates a clean little four-room motel with uncommonly large rooms. It was quiet enough to hear a pin drop overnight and the bed was comfy. It was about two doors from the historic Pioneer Saloon, where we enjoyed lunch, and about 10 miles from the birdwatching at Summer Lake and hiking on Winter Ridge. Great value.

This was our third year we have stayed here for our annual rabbit hunting trip.Large comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms. I loved that the rooms had the heat on and our rooms were warm when we arrived.The only criticism we have is that the heater in room D needs work on its thermostat and the bathroom fan squeaks horribly.We will see you again next year.

Filthy floors, blood spattered walls from mosquito kills, black/moldy trim around shower, 2 of 3 sitting chairs near table wobbly/unsafe, bed/mattress very noisy. Big room, amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water, ceiling fan/AC/powerful heater, nice size mini fridge, super friendly staff (owner?) and convenient reservation/check-in, a peaceful city. Cleanliness is very important for comfort so we can't justify more than 2 stars, especially at $75+tax.

Great room, with tons of space, and two comfortable beds. Cutely decorated, generous sized bathroom. Right next to hwy but with fan on low, could hardly hear the very occasional traffic. Great room, would gladly stay here again!

BED BUGS! I received 3 huge bed bug bites when I woke up in the morning. When I told the owner nicely she said she doesn't have them and said I brought them. I am extremely allergic to bed bug bites and know what they look like. This is the first motel I have stayed I. The entire trip so I know they came from here. Very disappointed at the way I was treated. These rooms looked very nice at first but unfortunately bed bugs do not discriminate between dirtiness and cleanliness. Be aware if you stay here. She also said I was just lying to get refunded because "people do that." Well maybe your customers that are asking to get refunded because they are getting bit are not lying and the motel actually has bed bugs. Just a thought.

Room was spacious & comfortable, they provided a detailed visitors guide ,wifi, cable TV, toiletries, towels , modest refreshments of coffee & tea , a microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge. There are no onsite vending machines or ice machine available however & the only convenient store within nearly 100 miles of this place closes at 6pm & there is no other source if u need any supplies at all. So if I don't bring it with u, u wont have it & u wont be able to find it while in paisley

The Sage Rooms are set up nicely, or room had 2 beds and doors out both sides. I've always found these rooms to be of suite quality in larger cities but you pay a fair price!! Thanks Brenda!! You're a dear for our many questions and tolerating Ruth and I!! ~Noot

We were essentially stranded in Paisley with a flat tire on our Harley. After being first rescued by a farmer with an air compressor, then helped by the guys at Chewaucan garage, we were directed to The Paisley Sage. I called for availability, and willing to take whatever they had, asked for a room for the night while we wait for the tube to be delivered. Not only was room available, but it was a double queen at a reasonable price. One of the things that set this apart, is that the manager ( Brenda) was on the road and have me the code to the room so that we did not have to wait in a hot garage for her to get back into town. Going over to the, I was astounded at how nice and big the room was . My husband and I had no complaints whatsoever and felt very blessed at how well we were taken care of by not only Brenda, but everyone else in Paisley that we dealt with. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through.
