We took 23 people go on a Hells Canyon Adventure trip in late September and they were a very happy group going home. I thought to myself, it is very hard to take a trip down and river and not have a big smile on your face. That is what I saw of our people yesterday. They talked about everything they saw and how much fun they had. I would say the average age for our group was mid 60’s and they were like a bunch of teenagers talking about it. For most of them, it was the first time they had done something like this. On the drive there, I heard one lady say, this is a once in time trip, due to the windy road. On the way back home. She said that the windy road was worth the trip, and she would do it again. I also herd so many compliments on how great the lunch was that was provided. Your people do a fantastic job, and we will be booking more trip with Hells Canyon Adventure. Thank You all from the City of Mountain Home Parks and Recreation!!!

Booked a Sturgeon trip with these guys. It was absolutely amazing! We had Cody Ard and Dusty Yates as Guides. They did an excellent job putting us on the fish. Everyone in our party hooked into and landed a monster. The largest was 112 inches. It was an incredible experience. I'll be looking to book with them again in the future. Thanks for helping our fishing party have such a successful day gents!

I have booked with Hells Canyon Adventures for personal trips and for the trail stewardship organization I work for, to transport volunteers and staff to trail projects in Hells Canyon. I have also traveled with them for our kids' school field trips. They are awesome: prompt to respond to any pre-trip questions, punctual and friendly, with well-maintained boats and equipment. Their pilots are skilled, and we always felt safe while having a blast on the river! Highly recommend.

This was our second visit to Hells Canyon but our first time going down the river in a Jet Boat, we selected the Sheep Creek trip (cheapest option) as we didn't know what to expect. Was it worth it? well, it was AWESOME! we got soaked going down some pretty large rapids, it is amazing how the captain is able to handle the boat in such crazy conditions, the canyon views from the bottom of the canyon are amazing. I would highly suggest bringing some water proof (zip bags) for your phone or other electronics that you many not want to get wet. Or better yet I think for our next time we will bring a gopro camera to be able to record the trip.Highly recommended adventure for all ages, next time we want to try going down in their rafting tour. The Bonus to the trip was been able to watch bald eagles, 2 brown bears fishing and eating and one black bear just sitting and eating by the river banks. They didn't care about the boat at all! Finally, Jake, our guide made the trip highly enjoyable and was nice enough to help everybody taking group photos . Looking forward a longer trip to enjoy the white waters of the snake river

We hosted our company Christmas party this year with Hells Canyon Adventures and what a great decision that was! We took all of our employees for a day of steelhead fishing and we couldn't have been happier. Dusty and Cody, our guides, were fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining! And of course, the important part- got us on the fish! Every person on our boat caught multiple fish and went home with a steelhead dinner that night. Highly recommend Hells Canyon Adventures.

Super afternoon ride on the HCA Yellow Boat to Sheep Creek on the Snake River. Expert navigation and presentation by our boat guide Dusty, a solid lunch and the most beautiful (and fun) scenery. Our entire group loved it and it was one of the highlights of our 2021 Eastern Oregon summer trip. The pre-trip instructions were clear and comprehensive resulting in a safe and exciting trip.

Had a wonderful time in the afternoon on July 4th- the two guy team was great and knowledgeable about the canyon, it’s historical information and the Snake River. Never saw any snakes saw a lot of birds and big horn sheep. Water was super nice to get in on a blistering hot day. Highly recommend!

Since it was a cold and raining off and on our pilot took great care not to get us to wet. He was informative and knew how to drive the boat to make it as fun as the weather allowed for us seniors citizens. Love the scenery and the water. Great trip.

This was the first jet boat adventure that we have ever been on. We booked the Kirkwood jet boat trip. Did not know what to expect. We had the time of our life. The boat was easy to get on/off of. Easy to walk around on (when allowed). And Dusty ( sorry if I spelled your name wrong ) was wonderful! Wonderful captain, wonderful guide, very knowledgable. He explain things as they happened or as they were about to happen. We felt very safe and comfortable on the boat. We had a very nice lunch, which we really enjoyed. Seen some wildlife, Dusty stopped so we were able to take pictures and just watch. The scenery was so beautiful. I would recommend that everyone atleast once in their life go on a HCA ( Hells Canyon Adventures ) tour. Thank you Dusty! Thank you HCA!! Had a wonderful time. Will do this again.

We had a fabulous 2 day, overnight jetboat trip. The food was 5 star. It was fresh food. Not prepackaged. The trip was soo fun ,informative and breathtaking scenery. The accommodations in Lewiston,5 star. Our Captain was so accommodating, knowledgable and was an amazing jetboat operator. We were a wide age range. 2 grandparents,our adult son and 2 teen grandaughters. We all gave this trip a huge thumbs up! Thank you, Dylan and HCA!

We had the time of our lives. Hells Canyon Adventures is amazing, they take great care of everyone. Lunch was excellent. Dillon our guide gave us one of the best rides I have ever experienced on the Snake River. We will be doing this as a family trip each year from now on. We took our 5 year old and felt safe and excited. HE loved getting soaked in the rapids.

This company is awesome! Our Guide, Ryan, was a pro, and made the trip fun and entertaining. The host at Sheep Creek was a hoot, and a great entertainer. We did the two day overnight rafting trip, and it was one of the best experiences my spouse and I have ever gone on together. I highly recommend these guys for a trip down the Snake River that will provide a memorable experience!

While I really enjoy playing on the river, I didn't think I would particularly like a jet boat tour. Boy, was I Wrong! It was So Much FUN!! I had never really seen a white water river from that perspective. I felt totally safe the entire time. We had lunch at an old Hells Canyon homestead and watched a black bear fishing for his lunch! Our group aged from 8-80, so fun for all ages. Put this on your Bucket List!

I would recommend the White Water Raft with the Jet Boat Ride back up to everyone. It was sooooo much fun, we had a group of 16 ranging in age from 13 to 69 and everyone loved it. HCA was super professional and talented, knew the river and took very good care of us. We even saw 7 bears!

WOW! I've never caught so many smallmouth bass in one single afternoon in all my life. Huge bass to boot. Our guide Ben made the trip even better. His experience and knowledge of Brownlee and everything about bass was unbelievable. Ben also has the exact personality you'd want in someone that you have to spend a long time in a boat, (Ranger) with. Patient, professional, and a good sense of humor. likable guys, guy. Ben will give you memorable time with getting you on some fatty's. can't wait to summon Ben again.

I took the jet boat first and had a lot of fun. I decided to try the rafting portion with Lucas as our guide. It was a blast. Lucas kept us safe and explained what to do if we fell out and how to get back in. I would definitely do another raft trip with Lucas as my guide. Our lunch was perfect and light, as to not feel bloated during our trip. What an amazing scenic journey. Thank you all.

This was so worth every Penny. Thanks Brandie and (forgot names of guides). Guides were very experience, gave us a great show. Lunch was wonderful. Saw an over 7ft sturgeon being caught, did rapids. It was great. Would take this again. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our jet boat experience with Hells Canyon Adventures! Our guides were amazing, the scenery stunning, and the water perfectly cold to cool us off. Lunch was delicious (and in the coolest location) and all the animals we encountered a perfect bonus! Highly recommend!! Would have loved to do the rafting/jet boat combo but we had some little ones in our crew. If you have older adventure seekers in your group definitely do that option!My only recommendation would be in the follow up email to note that the launch point is 22 miles from Oxbow but to allow 45 min or more from that point. That was the most beautiful part of our drive but the most stressful as it’s curvy and we were running late not realizing the terrain we were heading into. Your crew was amazing and the rest of the guests patient with us which we appreciated. We drove 4+ hours to do the tour so thank you!

We loved our jet boat adventure through Hells Canyon! Cody and Dillon took great care of us as well as being very nice. Cody was really funny which made the trip fun. It was indeed wet and wild at times. The canyon itself is very dramatic, rugged, and beautiful. We did see some wildlife. We enjoyed watching 2 black bears picking berries in a mulberry tree. Amazing!

Other than a 40 minute delay at the start, the trip was excellent. The delay was the result of the operator choosing to wait for 5 people who arrived almost an hour after the requested arrival time of 11:30. The late arrivals claimed road work delayed them though no one else experienced delays. Dusty, our captain and primary guide was excellent. He shared great observations and was very knowledgible. The lunch spot was perfect. Very shady with lots of grass and picnic tables.

We utilized these guys for a company jet boat tour and had an amazing time. The reservation staff were easy to deal with and had good communication and the guides were knowledgeable and fun. I was worried about the provided lunch as I forgot to mention I'm celiac but they had a salad bar that I could utilize which was perfect. It was so much fun!

This was unique experience riding on the jet boat along the Snake River. The captain / guide provided a lot of interesting facts about the Hells canyon itself and everything around. He stopped to show some wildlife: eagle family, bear, mountain goat. He also offered an additional entertainment to the group by riding the rapids up un down.

We used HCA for a private run with 24 folks, mostly teenagers. Cory and Dillon were excellent. Dusty has been my captain in the past and he is really fun too. Hell's Canyon is an amazing place and there are two ways to see it. 1) Really hard work climbing mountains or learning how to raft or 2) Call HCA and they do the heavy lifting. FYI: I've been hiring these folks out every so often over the past 20ish years.

The trip lived up to my expectations. As an old Salmon and Middle Fork of the Salmon River guide from the 60's and early 70's and part -time jet boat operator this is a well run operation. both Dillon and Cody (co-captions) did an excellent job of running the boat and explaining the river. We saw a bear, bald eagle, mountain goats and a 7' 4" sturgeon being landed and released. Best of all for me was getting to talk with Bill at the lunch stop. Overall it was a very worthwhile excursion. "Thank You" Hells Canyon Adventures.

We have booked the Sheep Creek Afternoon Tour for Sept. 4th on June 18th, got directly a prelimanary confirmation stating "We have to meet our minimum passenger requirement before we will confirm this Adventure. A bit later they sent me an information, that the trip is now confirmed and they took 84 USD from my credit card.On Aug 28 they told us they would like to put as on the full day tour (5-6 hours) - for sure with no extra charge as our tour is cancelled. For several reasons this long tour was not an option for us and we asked if they could put us on the short morning trip, but this was cancelled as well. They proposed to put us on the Sheep Creek Afternoon Tour on Sept. 3rd, so one day earlier. On 30th Aug I informed them that we need to re-organise as this affects our long planned and pre-booked holiday trip massively.and it would be the afternoon trip on 3rd or nothing.Sept 1st, we accepted their offer for the Afternoon trip on 3rd. We did not hear anything back from them for nearly 24 h, before we got an email, saying that now the people from the Afternoon trip decided to go on the day trip and there will be no Afternoon trip on the 3rd anymore. You can imagine that after all the efforts we made to be able to accept their offered tour, we were really annoyed to be kicked out again with dubious statement.I think they had 2 boats with minimum passengers only on the 3rd and talked some people into taking the other tour, so they could safe the costs for one trip to maximise profits and all customers not willing to change were kicked out.For me already the behaviour of the first cancellation comes close to a fraud towards the customer, but offering you an alternative date and you spend the time and efforts to re-plan your holiday and to cancel it less than 48 hours before the trip start is absolutely unreliable and not excusable.Hell`s Canyon was not directly on our route and we took a huge detour to make the Jet Boat Tour, which then took not place.As we complaint I got following response: „I agree this is inconvenient, but we are coming towards the end of our tour season and we do not always have enough people to run each tour we offer. We need a minimum of 8 people to run any tour we offer.“So my conclusions: The confirmation you receive after booking is not a real confirmation although it says so – they just send it to charge you the deposit of 30 %. If you are off the real main peak season, you need to very flexible as most of the tours they offer in their online schedule will not take place.Note to their comments:Point 2: Cancelleation was not beyond there Control - no safety issues, no water Level - Brandie offered the 3rd as alternative which she should only do, when it is an alternative and after confirmation from us she took it away.Point 3: I would have phoned 48 Hours in Advance, but there we already were in contact - Sorry I was on already on Holiday and most days in the back Country without phone possibility. There was no confusion - you offered an alternative, we re-organised our trip and accepted - you cancelled again.Point 6: That is a lie. I was understandably annoyed, but never disrespectful to Brandie and got personally like Brandie is doing now!

The afternoon Jet Boat trip was amazing! Dusty was our driver and he did an exceptional job making it a wild ride (that was secretly safe). In fact he is literally the perfect personality of being cool as a cucumber even though we are dropping 8 feet down a rapid! Random bonus we got to see multiple bear sitings, wonderful meal and on our stop on the way back where we get to swim two mountain goats showed up to check out our activity. Crazy great trip!
