I am so annoyed with the self checkout lanes closed in the morning, when open only 4 open and then 2 lanes open only. The lines are ridiculous and long. I am rethinking coming back. There is so many other stores. I called to leave a complaint and was on hold for 45 minutes. Please open everything back up back to normal. Or everyone should go to other places! Zero parking because everyone is in line. Fix it now!!And Karla is absolutely the best employee you have!! Give her a raise!! Very helpful and great at her job.I spoke with Greg about this above. I understand he can't do anything but he can voice his opinion about it as he is manager and can see the complete chaos, long lines. Something needs to be done! Speak Greg, speak!!

The checker was very nice and the clerk at the hot food dept. Was funny. I did have a customer help me get a cold drink that I couldn't reach, which was very nice of her. Their cold beverages were not stocked. They did not have a cold mountain dew.

They are so helpful. 1st experience inside of a store for years & I overloaded my walker..even the Starbucks staff helped me to a register.Food is wonderful & choices are amazing. Having just switched store loyalty from a competitor I was expecting difficulty in my rx transfers & requesting my sons rxs to be transferred also. It was so easy & a pleasant experience. I am glad I switched as I actually got the things I wanted in grocery & was delighted to see the shelves fully stocked & tidy. Yay!

I have been shopping here for a decade and over the last 6 months I have picked up well over 15 lbs of bad meat, mostly ground beef. These are packages well before the best by dates, purchased from Safeway and driven the 5 minutes to my house and then immediately frozen or refrigerated. Several nights I have had nothing to make my children for dinner because I have to throw out $10+ of meat when this happens. It's reoccurring and very frustrating. I stopped calling to complain because nothing is ever done to make it right. Total disappointment in this economy, we work too hard to have to throw away meat we pay for!!!

This Safeway seems to be a busier location but we’ll stocked and kept up. Has a full pharmacy, floral deli and more. They have a couple “Red Boxes’s”, coin counting machine and a full customer service counter. I like coming here for there deli, they have great salads, ribs and pre-cooked food. There Chinese food is something I enjoy here as well. Pretty big parking lot with a Safeway Fuel ⛽️ station located next to the store.

In general, the store is great, but (in my experience) avoid the Pic 4 offers - even though the price seems great. See attached photo. These products are horrible. I am not picky, but for 2 of the 4 products I chose the chicken breasts … the texture after cooking was absolutely gross and tough. Never experienced anything like that. We threw away the 2nd package - it was that bad.

AJ in the bakery was so sweet and did a wonderful job on my son's smash cake he Read my mind on changing the letter that was in the picture I showed them to the letter of my son's first name 💙 10/10 would recommend him to do anyone's cakes

Every one is awesome, fast and clean. Pick up and delivery is good just be clear with your preference or you can get some thing unexpected.Update the u-scan here sucks. It's so tuchy and constantly asking for help...I'll go stand in line for a checker

I don’t know what happened at this location but the deli food hasn’t be good at all. We bought 8 piece chicken with the breasts included. We got home and it was all chicken legs. The legs were so old and hard that they were disgusting. We took them back for refund. Another visit we bought the precooked ribs from deli and the under side was so burnt that it was not edible. Returned those too. Then we usually buy a pound of sliced turkey breast. We ask it to be cut as thin as possible. They told us that the slicer was damaged and could only be cut a certain thickness until the person who could fix it returned from vacation. So we try 2 weeks later. I tell them again as thin as they can get it and they didn’t say they couldn’t. It was cut way too thick again. At this point I give up. I won’t be purchasing anything from the deli again until they get stuff figured out.

Very disappointed in customer service this evening. My daughter went to OC safeway to get the special dozen eggs for 97 cents. I told her to get 2 dozen as that was the limit for the special. She understood it as 2 dozen total, not 2 dozen each phone number. When she went back to explain and get the other 2 dozen (one more for each phone number) she was told that the special is a one time use and told her they would not honor her request to get the 2 dozen per phone number. I mean really!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. LOOKS LIKE I WILL BE SHOPPING ELSEWHERE!

Here's my rating, the app 2 stars, the store 4. The app has had me so frustrated. So your app coupon clipping BEFORE you get in the store. Network service in there horrible. And you clip coupons but they don't always save.... Ugh. But the store is managed well, clean and overall nice place to shop. It's just the app that sucks.

Clean store and lots of people there to help assist your needs. The deli is a good place to purchase a good meal. Lots to choose from(loved fire pepper sweet chicken, not spicy, flavor fun). Did I mention cheap gas, and a fast station to get gas and go on your way out.

The management here is a joke. I needed help with an issue and the manager who was supposed to help me, Michael something, just up and went home without saying anything. Don't trust the managers to do anything to help you, they don't care. And by extension, neither does Safeway.

I have been shopping here for about 5 years. It's clean, well organized, and a good portion of the employees are very friendly. Over the last month or so I have noticed many staff members wearing their masks down on their chins. Especially in produce, not one employee in the produce section has there nose covered and many of them have their mouths out too. I just don't understand why we as customers should be held to a higher standard than the staff members themselves. I'll be looking for a new store to go to because I always leave this one feeling annoyed and a little angry because of it.

They could have better customer service. Especially in the meat department the manager isnt very helpful and everyone is depressed and sad. The bakery girls are awesome! The front of house people are pretty cool and starbucks well id rather have coffee from home but anyways yeah you could do better.

I used to love getting Safeway sandwiches made now forget it the last 3 times I have gone in the produce looks like you could get food poisoning almost everytime I have to ask if they have fresh stuff in the back, I just went all the produce was bad and the guy clearly was new who made my sandwich or didn’t know what he was doing because he made the sandwich giant I never asked for extra and now going home had to pick off so much, the sandwich was also $10 because the associate put so much on it that I didn’t even want and then when I asked why so much he said prices have gone up but in reality he didn’t follow the correct portions. So disappointed with the quality of food and ability of employees to correctly do there job. Customer should t be getting charged $5 more than normal amount because of employees doing the wrong portions. And I didn’t ask him to remove the extra cause I didn’t wanna be rude. Do better Safeway.

Your average safeway. Pretty good place to get healthy or not so healthy groceries. Could use a bit of work on the overall vibe though, it is starting to feel old and dirty like grocery stores do after some years.

I moved from the other side of town (Beaverton) and the quality between stores is night and day. The oregon city store is filled with uncaring employees who don't care about customer feedback or have any pride in their work, the bakery is lacking with its substandard poor quality bagels and bread, the deli department ripped off my parents selling them cheap roast beef as the expensive kind. In Beaverton I never once experienced any issues and I miss shopping at the murry locations but now that's more than a hour away and I'm stuck with a store that is not even half as good as their other locations.

I know these reviews often ask how bad or good the establishment was, it think it is a good thing when you can go in and carry out your expected reason of visit without any interruptions. Thing that go smoothly without even is something we take for granted. thank Safeway for my way safe shopping trip.

Thieves! This safeway sells products that are illegitimate then refuses to refund money because visa is a third party vendor... My father bought me a visa gift card with 50$ on it, after trying to use it at several locations and calling the 1 800 number to no avail I had my father bring the receipt and we tried to return the faulty gift card and they refused to even though it still had all 50$ and wouldn't work...

Super clean store. Staff is always super friendly & helpful. Not the cheapest store in town but they have quality items. Definitely download the app to use the coupons & gas rewards if you shop here! It saves a ton.Their pharmacy is great as well!

I’ve been here many times over the last three years but never seem to learn my lesson about the produce. Every timeI buy any sort of greens, they’re already going bad when I open them even though I thoroughly check them in the store. The same thing happened with strawberries four or five times. Everything else in the store is fine, but I’d suggest going somewhere else for produce.

You should stop by and meet Lou who works there & has been there many years and he is just one of the best employees I have ever met his & friendliness is beyond compare.
