Great Rental Company on the Willamette. The falls were awesome to see and so gorgeous. Our guide was FAB U LOUS!! She had great knowledge and fun tidbits and loved our awful one liner jokes! Can't wait to go again!

The intro to whitewater class was great! Nate expertly created a relaxed learning atmosphere. I had so much fun and learned foundational skills that I can't wait to build on! I'd recommend this class both to complete beginners and people who've had some paddling experience but want to set themselves up for solid progress.

Very friendly staff!! We got there at 6pm and they let us go on the river for at least 2 hours. It is pretty fast from signing in to getting on the water. We paddled out to the waterfalls and it was beautiful! You might want to make a reservation if you are going on a very sunny day!

I went this past Monday morning with my friend, who had his own kayak.I made a reservation online, and was greeted with a smile and friendly service upon arriving. I don't remember her name, younger blonde gal, but she was so warm, welcoming, and helpful.I had such a great experience; I'm already looking forward to going back!

I took a soul fusion class here this summer, which was an exercise class on the dock and then a morning paddle afterwards. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience was really fun. It happened to be on a day with lots of smoke from the forest fires so it had kind of an eerie vibe.

Great paddle experience with great weather. Guide was informative on history as well as tips on reading the water. The falls are truly amazing and one of the great hidden secrets in Oregon. Check it out!

We had the best time with eNRG Kayaking and Rafting! Our guide Nate was full of local history about the area that he shared with us through our kayaking and rafting trips. We did white water rafting with some family and everyone had a blast, saw a bald eagle up close! Kayaking at Willamette Falls was beautiful, the locks are super cool.

My lady and I attended the music on the water event that was held on July 17th(been meaning to leave a review). Overall the experience was amazing! We've only been kayaking one other time, not at this location, so we're still newbies. When we arrived, there was a table setup outside on the docks where we could sign our guest waivers. This wasn't working properly online for a tandem kayak for some reason. We were then directed to "follow the arrows". We did so and arrived at the main building.Once we got inside there was no guidance at all. We wandered around looking for some help but with so many other guests inside it was difficult to find any employees. After several minutes we were able to spot someone walking around offering help. Their attire did not stand out and from what I recall, didn't indicate they actually worked there. We finally got set up with paddles and life jackets and where taken to our kayak. We loaded up and were told we could paddle out and wait in the open water. After about 10 to 15 minutes, a large canoe came out of the harbor with two people paddling and a third in the middle, whom we assumed was the entertainment of the evening. NOBODY said ANYTHING! They just paddled right through the group and up stream. We weren't sure what we were supposed to do at that point. That feeling seemed to be the overwhelming consensus amongst the other guests as well.Slowly, everyone started following the mystery boat. After traveling a ways up stream, the canoe pulled into a cove and the paddleless man in the middle picked up a guitar and began singing, confirming we had in fact made the correct choice in following. After a few songs, the playing stopped and the canoe again plowed through the audience and began traveling upstream. And again, NOTHING was said. We pursued with more certainty this time.Once we reached the falls, we were treated to another concert. This time, as the canoe departed, the tandem kayak that myself and my lady were in was rammed and pushed into the rushing water coming from the falls. The people paddling the behemoth were without a care, silent, as us amateurs drifted into the rapids. Fortunately, we stayed afloat, but just barely. The trip ended with a float back to base all the while listening to guitar accompanied singing coming from the battering ram of a canoe.Had there been better communication amongst the staff, it would've been a 5 star experience. Having the knowledge we have now would make it more enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience! We were helped by Mark and Mia (I hope I got the names right!) and they were quit helpful and so nice to deal with. We were taken up the river a mile or so and we put in just near a bridge. The water was refreshing and current was mild. We were give high quality heavy duty tubes to float down the river on. They are not bottomless, but have a mesh screen to rest your bum on and perhaps a water bottle. The entire trip was maybe an hour or so. We wanted to go back up and do it all over again! There are kayak excursions and other rental options around Oregon. Family night kayaking will be next for us. Again, a wondeful experience for us.

Lucky to have a place like ENRG close to home. Came across them while looking for a kayaking shop that offers rentals and instruction. Have been taking advantage of their unlimited kayaking pass for the last few summers which has been incredibly helpful for an upcoming race I’m doing in New Zealand. I also got to participate in a group training session on the Clackamas River with Nate (one of their in house instructors), and now a better kayaker because of it. I really appreciate Nate’s patience and teaching style. He really walks you through all the basics you need to be a competent kayaker. Highly recommend ENRG!!

This was me and my friends first time out kayaking. Our guide was terribly patient with us 🤦🏽♀️😂😂 trying to get the hang of rowing. We laughed and had so much fun with our guide. We also learned a great deal of history about the area which was really kool. I would definitely recommend trying one of their guided tours.

I wanted to see if I would love kayaking, so I signed up for a Pound and Paddle which led to signing up for PYO and Paddle, which led to Full Moon Paddle! This company is fantastic! They got me hooked on kayaking, love everyone who I have met that works there, so welcoming and fun!! Someday, I will see if I love their paddle boards, too!

Took a whitewater course with Nathan Watt this weekend, worth every Penny. If you’re looking to gain confidence and grow your skill set on the river this is the place for you. I came into it thinking I knew a lot already, but Nate gave me some fine tuning and it made a world of difference.10/10 would recommend.

Coming in mid week late September was great. The river was almost empty and the weather was perfect. eNRG had no wait and we were off for a few hours to kayak up to the falls. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend them!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I have done both the full moon paddle and the music on the water. Both were super fun, especially with a group of friends.

I'm so pleased with our experience today with eNRG Kayaking and our tour guide, Josh. My mother-in-law was in town, so I chose to do the 90-minute Willamette Falls tour as I expected it would be pretty easy and we could always slow down or turn back if needed. Josh provided all the necessary safety information and encouragement needed. She was off and running! Or, uh, paddling. A really fun experience for the whole family. Highly recommended!

The best rental company on the Willamette! My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a morning paddle on the river and it was fantastic. Our guide Nathan was the perfect companion for our trip, pointing out important landmarks and giving us some much needed knowledge about the surrounding wildlife and falls. If you want to get away for a few hours and have a relaxing day on the river, look no further than eNRG!

It doesn’t get much better than this. Amazing service, gear, and instruction right on the Willamette River. We rented a sit on top kayak and paddled to Willamette Falls and under the historic Oregon City bridge. So epic!I highly recommend them for anybody visiting or living in Portland.

Hubby and I were in Portland for a short trip and wanted to spend the last day relaxing so he booked a river rafting tour with eNRG Kayaking. The guide we had was absolutely fantastic! The rafting trip we chose was pretty low-key - not many rapids to go through - but was the most relaxing time for us! We stopped at the “high rocks” and hubby jumped off a couple times. We would highly recommend making reservations with this company for rafting, kayaking, or tubing if you’re looking for something fun to do!(Side note - our confirmation email sent us to the wrong location for pick-up so make sure you confirm your pick-up location before you go.)

Will go back again soon. It was awesome! Great staff, very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The paddle to the Willamette Falls is a must. It is the second largest waterfall in the USA, with Niagra Falls being the largest.
