We have purchased pallets of Scott’s brown mulch for quite a few years. We purchased 3 pallets this past weekend and was so disappointed as there was larger chunks, garbage, even a large rock in bags we opened. It was so dark it almost looks black. Then we opened another pallet and it was what we have had in the past. Golden brown and smaller chunks. Horrible! Be aware and check the bags. We got absolutely junky mulch.

There was a time when Home Depot was incredible. I actually was told by an employee exactly how to renovate an entire bathroom, this was about 15 years ago, or so. At a time when employees were knowledgeable, with many ex-contractors and such.One gets the feeling that if Home Depot paid better, had more employee incentives, they might actually distinguish themselves like they used to do. Employees are polite and helpful but not really trained to understand the products. In other words, why even go to home Depot if you're not getting expert advice?The prices are reasonable but not outstanding, not like Harbor Freight which may not have the quality at all times, but the price is always right. I just feel like a lot was lost in this establishment over the years. They do try to have things like workshops and such, but when you had knowledgeable employees it really made the store stand out as something special.There used to be a reason why one would go here as opposed to another store like Lowe's. That is lacking these days. It's arbitrary as to whether one buys in either location. I guess as a shareholder, or if I had stock in the company I would be pretty outraged at this fact, and as a consumer it is certainly noticeable.

Some good friends of ours try to get a hold of Home Depot for two weeks. They couldn’t get a hold of Home Depot so they decided to order online. They ordered online and we went to pick up their order. They showed nothing for it no order made so we decide to go ahead and order it and get it done. They refused to let us get it on our friends Card we spent hours trying to get it together and then they turned us down to get the card service. Here sucks we’re going to FRANKLIN‘s.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. Nina, the staff member who assisted me, was incredibly pleasant and went above and beyond to help me. I was in search of a faucet and she provided me with numerous options. Unfortunately, the one that was on sale was out of stock. However, Nina kindly offered me alternative options and even provided me with a discount. I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot for various purchases, from doors to materials for my house. I will definitely make it a priority to visit this location in the future. Thank you for employing staff members like Anita/Nina.

Home Depot has been so unorganized recently. My husband and I are building a fence and we went to Home Depot to get pickets and saw that they were covered in mold so we asked an associate if we can get other ones and and he said if we go down to customer service buy the pickets he will load them. We went down to customer service and paid for the pickets and asked the gal if she would call them and she said we would need to go find the guy. I don’t understand why she couldn’t call them for us and why we had to hunt him down again. It was a giant mess but we ended up getting the pickets eventually. Fast forward to today we went in to get more pickets so this time I went directly to customer service and said I need 150 pickets and asked if they could load them. She called and said it will be a little bit. My mom and I waited with my baby in the car for over an hour! No one could give us a time estimate… so unprofessional and unorganized. They could have told us it would be a couple hours or so instead of “a little bit” or “idk” we ended up leaving and I’m having to go back later today to get more pickets. At least the last gal I dealt with actually wanted to help me.

Rude people at self check out and hover and harass you while checking out. I'll go to the meridian and boise one before I go to this one or lowes. As a self employed contractor, I am highly dissatisfied. Tried to take the survey online 3 times and the code on the receipt didn't work either.

Traveled 2.5 hours to go buy a washing machine on sale just to get there and be told that they don't have it... I can't have the floor model... and they can't deliver it... so if I could spend an additional $150 in fuel to drive back in 4 days and pick one up... you won't get any of my money I was gonna buy the whole set... now I won't buy anything ever again from you... what happened to the days when stores actually tried to help customers...

I had to order four separate orders to get enough unruined flooring to complete one room. They kept delivering me broken flooring. No help from customer service on this. It was just tough luck for me.

Friendly staff helped us find the kids workshop. The workshop is the first Saturday of the month during the summer months. This workshop gives families a free and memorable family activity. Working children's fine mortar skills and instructions following skills.

Sometimes hard to find a employee who will take you to the item your looking for. Also what they publish online is sometimes not true at all, and this is especially irritating. They say they have it online and then you find that's bogus information when you're looking around the store for it. That'll piss you off!

I'm a contractor out of Utah working in Idaho and I got referred to Ontario because of delivery location. I ordered Materials 3 weeks ago and have received 3 different shipments from different vendors.And some of the vendors have delivered the product in other peoples driveways leaving it in the rain. Then after 3 weeks they show up with my main ordeeand tell me they wont deliver to the house i have to meet them at a location 20 miles from the project. I will not be using this store never again

They need to update what they have in stock there system and what show up online or the app items that show up in stock they can't even find them but guess after looking hard enough they where able to give me what I needed.Service is pretty bad to when you need help they're always calling for someone else to go helpThey need better training.

I despise this Home Depot. They have terrible lumber and their customer service/online pickup department is the wooooorst. It's a shame because their cashiers and rental department (all the way on the other end of the store from here) are super friendly and were always helpful. I stopped shopping here in July 2023 after returning thousands in the worst lumber to be passed as building materials. I didn't leave the store with it. Even the manager on duty then, Mike "wouldn't give me his last name" The Manager, said "what do you expect, it's Home Depot" One of the kids who wanted to load it up said if I want quality lumber I need to do it myself. Not any of their business but I only ordered it ahead because I am injured and could only use one arm at the time. I forgot to review back then and then I stumbled across the old receipt and riled myself up in the memory of the situation.My favorites now are Franklin Building Supply in Fruitland, Platt Electric in Ontario.

Shopping here drives me mad. It's my least favorite source. Much of the floor staff, when you can find someone free, doesn't know where things are located or best product for some applications. Do yourself a favor and use the online map to narrow down the search if you can, it can help. The people are nice enough, and the shopping experience is probably less vexing if you're in construction, and not an old woman trying to hold an even older house together with limited knowledge and no hiring budget for professionals.

Miserable place to shop. Staff are clueless. 2 lumber staff couldn’t help me when finding simple half inch plywood. They tried telling me 3/4 was 1/2”. After getting a load of lumber “by myself” I had to check out at a fricking self check!! Who has a lumber check out as a self check??!! I can’t explain the level of ineptitude that obviously comes from the top down.If you read the reviews here you can clearly see they are written by staff and corporate. The positive reviews are hilariously obvious.

They had the stuff needed, which is always nice but not good customer service. Only 2 nice people, one lady offered to take a cart of sand up to the front for us and one really amazing nice man who helped with finding the price of a freezer and letting us know. The rest acted like we were an inconvenience to them or were very rude in the way we talk. When asked if someone could help load a very expensive freezer we bought from them the answer was yeah but I don't know how long it will take, like really we have to help you after you spend that much money on a freezer so I can have a job.

Not good made me wish we had a lowes here. When you have 3 employees there and asking for help and they won't even acknowledge your speaking to them. I will go to true value next time or Franklin building supplies before I buy anything else from them you are not the only store in town good luck and good riddance

Would not recommend the store when it comes to purchasing appliances. We were told Home Depot no longer sells appliances off the floor that they are delivered to your home from the warehouse. We purchased a washer and were told that it would be delivered within a week after receiving multiple emails and text messages that our order had been pushed out past a month I called to see how Home Depot could work with me. The lady that I spoke with was very rude. Cancel my order without me asking for it to be canceled, I ended up going to Best Buy and had the best experience ever. Received my washer and dryer set within four days.
