1st trip, find out they stop working from 1:30 - 2:00. 2nd trip find out they don't have it ready and they "just got it in a voice-mail." Her prescription was written before Noon morons! Now I have to make a 3rd trip. I don't really care what you say about your business but getting my prescription has sucked every since I had to stop getting it at BiMart. Rite Aid sucks. They charge too much. You'd be better off using the expediency of Walmart. Even though I don't like going there this is my official boycott of RiteAid and it's oppression. And now, feel the wrath of my tiny review!

I'm diabetic and have a prescription for alcohol pads to use with my blood sugar monitor. I have asked repeatedly for them to please provide them and each time my request is ignored. I have had the prescription for well over a year and not even one time have I been able to get any from the pharmacy. I even checked with my provider to make sure my insurance covered them and still the pharmacy hasn't provided them.

Clean store with good staff. Store no longer carry’s Thrifty Brand Ice Cream due since freezer broke about a year ago and was repaired but never restocked. Thrifty brand ice cream was one of the main reasons we liked to stop in this store. I now rarely go there because it’s no longer in stock.

This particular pharmacy displays a staggering level of incompetence. They cannot provide basic services with consistency and professionalism. They cannot solve simple problems and allow their services to fail due to the simplest of problems. Negative 5 stars would appropriate feedback. The store should be closed until competent management can hired.

They’re ok… not the best, but not super terrible either.Update a year later: I have learned over the years of being a customer here that filling prescriptions at the Ontario location is more often than not a big headache, a prolonged process, and like pulling teeth. The customer service from most of the technicians is just terrible. I understand they deal with a lot of different personalities but I’ve also worked customer service for many years in a variety of work fields and I have never treated anyone disrespectful or copped an attitude at them (especially when they’re not even giving me a hard time). I’d love to see positive customer service being implemented and practiced within this Rite-Aid location. Sick people come to pharmacies as an attempt to feel better (hence picking prescriptions up)…. A smile and nice calm voice can really change someone’s day for the better. And if it doesn’t, try it on the next person! Customers don’t understand what the staff deal with, but the staff also don’t understand the struggles and full health complications that the customers are living with. If a customer says “thank you, have a nice day”… it’s probably better to just say “you’re welcome”, or “you too” rather than making an annoyed sound and hanging up. To the tech that is having a horrible day… I truly hope your day gets better, and I hope you’re surrounded by positive co workers and customers that can provide you with peace and happiness.

Very efficient and friendly staff. Alot of the items are on sale. Fast checkout both in the store and the pharmacy. I love the rewards program using my phone number at the checkout.

Zero stars if i could. If you need your prescription any time soon for a health condition, take the time to drive elsewhere.Prescription fills here take 3+ days.Even if they're called in on urgent status by your doctor; they won't be filled within even 24 hours.I have to call my refills in 3 days before i need them or i go days without my meds.My son is in need of a steroid for his lungs because of breathing difficulty, it was called in nearly 12 hours ago, still nothing.Have a vaccine appointment? You'll be waiting at least an hour past your appointment time to even get spoken with. Horrible customer service and horrible wait times.Not worth it. Find a better pharmacy. I know i will be.

I came to Riteaid to buy NyQuil & the person asked me for my date of birth & I told her I didn’t want to give that information out and she said “well we have to know that you’re over 18.” (why didn’t she just ask to see my drivers license like a store would if I were purchasing cigarettes or alcohol). The other cashier said “it’s Oregon law.” I told her no thank you and walked out. So I then went over to Walmart & purchased the NyQuil and no one asked to see my ID and I was on my way and i was a satisfied customer. Come on Riteaid, please work on your customer service.

Absolutely ridiculous how terrible this pharmacy has been. About three weeks ago I scheduled an appointment to get a COVID shot. They said “They were to busy to complete the appointment.” Then after Bimart’s pharmacy shutting down I decided to try Rite Aid again and make an appointment to get my second dose. I make an appointment proceed to stand in line for 45 minutes for them to tell me they ran out of the type of vaccine I was to receive. I will NEVER return here.ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

I have no clue what's been going on with the Pharmacy in Ontario Oregon, but that place has went to absolutely hell over the last couple of months. Super long lines ever time I go there. Two they never have my prescription ready the first time. Last month I had to go back to get my prescription 3 times before they had it ready. I would you know just call them to see if it was ready but they apparently don't ever answer there phone anymore either.

Do not go to this pharmacy I have been going this pharmacy for over 15 years never had any problems some of the pharmacist and pharmacy tech people are really nice and some are not my wife waited 2 weeks for her pills.. two weeks ago we would go there every day wait 45 minutes to an hour to be told they didn’t have it even when the doctor had just sent it over hey couple times. I tried to switch to Walgreens and they can’t get it switched over something happened to the prescriptions on the Rite Aid end So now I’m doing without my prescriptions will call my doctors on Monday to get them to write new prescriptions to send a Walgreens. We are switching everything over do not deal with Rite Aid anymore.

As a former employee to Rite Aid Pharmacy, I understand what the employees are currently going through. With Bi Mart closing down and receiving half of their patients all of a sudden, and the mandate that you HAVE to have the COVID immunizations in order to continue working for Rite Aid they had lost some of their staff. Being down to 4 people to fill 600+ perscriptions a day and still get time with family, also, the shortages of medications throughout the US, they are working themselves into the ground. They are doing the BEST that they can. Not everyone wants to get immunized. And I have to say THE MAIN REASON I no longer work there is due to the rude and non-understanding people who come in who so mean and harsh that they cause the workers to cry. Please, be nice and try to understand that the Pharmacy workers are doing everything they can to fill all perscriptions as fast as they can!!!

Absolutely garbage. Refilled a prescription on the app go tonpick it up two days later im yold iy will be an hour, go back a week later and im told they cant fill it for 4 more days but it will be ready and waiting on the 3rd. Go back and wait in line for 40 minutes yo be told they hadn't started it. While all of that is happening im also trying to get a second prescription 1st trip im told they are out call your dr and have them send something else. I do that dr messed up and sent the same prescription ok i guess. Dr calls me and says they have a generic prescription ill call and leave a voice mail to give you that. Perfect go back for the 5th time in two weeks to be told they dont have it. I will be switching to bimart as soon as its reopened.

The drive thru at rite aid is closed and you have to come into the store and be exposed to all the people who choose not to protect each other by wearing a mask while being sick. And to make matters worse they don't have anyone that wants to do their job. The person working the counter is not in any hurry to help people. I have been in the store for a half an hour and haven't even made it to the counter and each person is sitting at the counter long enough you could count their medicines while they waited at the counter. Worse experience yet.

Clean not too busy but rarely have more than 1 checker open at a time. Line wait can seem longer than it should. Pharmacy pick up pleasant. Usually fast and efficient, they do get slammed with drive thru and inside customers, but they are polite and hard workers! They do good job while working with a constant flow of customers needs!

I would give a zero star if it was an option. I am now at day five with no blood pressure medicine. Every single day I was told some dumb excuse as to why they can't hand me my meds. Yesterday it was we will order it and it will be ready today. I show up today and told the same thing. Meanwhile I am about to die or at the least suffering internal damage from my blood pressure being high. I went to another pharmacy and now praying this stupid location actually sends my prescription to the other pharmacy. This is not funny when you need a medication to survive!!!!!!!!!!

Sure wish they had an option for zero stars. The staff is extremely rude. I dropped a prescription off OVER 5 hours prior. I live 3 hours away. They told me they would have it ready in 25 minutes. I waited all day, just for them to not even have it in the system yet. So then, I asked them to transfer it to the rite aide closer to home. Called the rite aide closer to home and it STILL wasn’t in the system. I’m UNIMPRESSED and I will not be using them anytime in the future. By the way, I still haven’t received my prescription.

Great store and service. Friendly staff and wonderful Pharmacy staff also. Lately the store inventory has been less than optimum but it's a supply chain problem no doubt. They always have what I need and seasonal offerings are great also.

The woman checking me out was super sweet!! My service dog accompanied me tonight and she was excited to see him! She supported and accepted our visit! Thank you Rite Aid!!She also explained where awesome discounted products were available! I found and purchased usually expensive hair products, as well as nail polish.

Unfortunately, my husband's medications were sent here after our pharmacy closed. For the last week, they have never answered the phone and obviously don't have an answering machine. Upon finally attempting to pick up medications, they told me that it could be ready in two hours and that they were at least 5 days behind. Mind you, it was for a medication that had been sent in A WEEK prior! I didn't make it in that evening and attempted to pick up the next morning (today being November 18), where they were abruptly closed and their hours suddenly changed. Later that same day, we sat in a line of 5 cars in front of us and at least another 3 behind us, waiting for around 40 minutes before they attempted to charge us for something that should have processed through our insurance.

Absolutely appalled with my recent experience at the Ontario, OR. location. I entered the store and within less than 5 minutes, I was targeted as someone they didn’t want to shop in their store. they called the police claiming I had been putting items in my bags (my purse, an empty plastic bag which I brought to carry out my purchase).The female associate had falsified information to the OPD. Of course I cooperated with the officers complying to the request to check my bags. There wasn’t any Rite Aid merchandise in my property or on my person! They refused service, and listed me as trespass indefinitely.I know they have the tight to refuse service without cause; however, I hope for the community’s sake, management monitors associates’ judgement-mental attitudes toward consumers.The Grocery Outlet had everything I was looking for, it was well organized and the customer service is outstanding!

This is the worst rite aid ever they are closed Saturday and Sunday drive through is closed they're soo understaffed you have to come in the store and wait 45 minutes. They took over 1 and a half weeks to fill one prescription not a controlled substance and even when I came in and waited another 45 minutes it wasn't filled. DO NOT USE this pharmacy SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE

It is unfortunate that my review is just 3 stars... But since they changed staff there in the last 6 months, it appears the place is more disorganized and they are not as cheerful as the replaced staff. I was always greeted with a "hello" as I came through the door, now all I see is frowns, and a long customer line. Seriously, the air in the place is much more dismal to say the least. I would have given Rite Aid 5 stars a year ago. But between Walgreens and Rite Aide though, I would definitely choose Rite aide. At least the staff at Rite Aide keep their appearance up. I realize that working with the public can be a discouraging experience at times. And that customers can be rude, and shame on those that are! Which ruin it for us nice customers because they cannot pull themselves together and treat others like they would like to be treated! I recently visited the Carson City area and the Rite Aide over there is extremely together and professional and efficient. Especially the Walgreens. Maybe I should apply for a managerial position at Rite Aide and show them how its really done :-O Rude Staff!!! Except for the older lady

Can you say " RUDE & DISMISSIVE"? I have had enough of both from these so called " professionals" & have changed pharmacy's. I would rather drive farther out for courteous care than be talked to ( GOOD luck getting anyone to answer) by these unprofessional people!! Horrible way to be treated especially when your sick & need prescriptions filled!!!

Second worst customer service Ontario oregon was put on hold for 5 minutes the first time before they hung up on me then the second time was on hold for 15 minutes before they hung up on me then 3 minutes again before they hung up on me. This is happening at at both riteaids the other one is in grants pass oregon if I could I would give no stars.

I am very very disappointed in the pharmacy rite aid looks amazing and clean and organized but not so much for thier pharmacy the doctor sent a fax and letters to the pharmacy for my mother I laws medication and her test strips and suringes. And we been taken a huge round about between not being asked for everything they needed from her of her Insurence card and other information she's been out of test strips for a week she had enough to carry on to pick it up on the following Saturday and still no test strips the dr called and asked her and was informed the did it on the 2nd of providing them paper work either they lost it or what I don't know and our doctor is very disappointed in this pharmacy and how rude they are of saying how Kara I believe is her name short girl with black hair and glasses was going off on an attitude with my mother in law about how she could do so much and could have gotten things done but no she wanted to talk to the pharmacists. Yeah she wanted to talk to the pharmacist because it's a life and death situation and wanted to make sure she gets everything she needs. Instead of going off u should have thought of ok I'll put ur insurance in while u talk to the pharmacist to get things moving forward no u wanted to act like a child and be upset that u were not needed at the time she wanted to talk to the pharmacist and what a great way to show team work and telling off a customer like a spoiled child that u could only do so much. We are switching to Walgreens they took care of us and got our medication done with in an hour and helped us switch never stepping foot in rite aid ever for medical reasons

I am very disgusted with the treatment or lack of rather, that my son received recently in this Rite Aide. He had developed a staph infection on his face, these infections are dangerous if you don't get antibiotics right away! He was obviously in terrible pain and his face was swollen so bad, there was no way you couldn't see that he was in a horrible state! His prescriptions were very expensive, so I offered to pay to help him out, I live in another state, the pharmacy told him they could not take a payment over the phone. Ok, so there is a Western Union in the Rite Aide. OK! I'll Western Union the money. The teller tells my son she does not have the cash in her register to give him for his Western Union! He'd have to go across town to Pilot to get his money and then come back and get his meds! He shouldn't have been driving in the first place! I think there could have been something they could have done to help him out. Instead their total lack of sensitivity is horrible! Anyone that has worked in retail, knows that there could have been some kind of work around here! Very disappointed in the way my son was treated! I didn't even want to give one star here! Horrible!

Every time I go to this specific Rite Aid, whether it be for items of convenience or grabbing prescriptions from the pharmacy, I always walk out with a smile on my face.Everyone that works here is kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Store staff is great. Pharmacy has a couple of really nice people, but they also have a few people who are consistently horrible. They are slow inattentive rude, and seem to loathe their job as well as their customers
