Absolutely love this grocery store in Ontario—it's my go-to spot! I really appreciate that they stick to traditional checkouts; no self-service here. Even when it's busy, they're quick to open new lanes. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, too. They've even let me in a few minutes before closing when I just needed an item or two. After 5 years of shopping here, I've never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!

Never eating a single piece of meat from this place again. They put the meat on the shelf frozen, then it thaws out on the shelf for customers to take it home and freeze and thaw it out again. Other problem is the deli food mainly the hot stuff. I'm not gonna name the former employee that gave me this information. Putting new chicken in with old chicken, breading the raw chicken and putting it back in the same bloody bag for storage and who knows what else they're doing back there. This place is gonna kill someone if they don't get it together.

All I have to say is: I was never a fan of self check out till I went to the red apple in Ontario and happened to be in Bree’s checkout line. She was very rude to the man ahead of me, very rude to me and it seemed like she was also rude to the poor kid she was training to bag…. She seemed very annoyed to be there. She even looked at one kid who walked through the doors and rolled her eyes… I assumed cause he was walking slow while looking at his cellphone…. She was annoyed with me cause I took my groceries out of my basket. No wonder she had an empty line and the others were long. I would say maybe this chick was having a bad day but I don’t think I am the first to experience this very un delightful person.

The new store owner Tim is making this store a joke. There is no more supporting the local. He goes with what ever is cheap. He doesn't even bother fixing the doors which is a big safety issue. I've seen people get slammed by these doors and people running into them because they do not work. (I wont be surprised if one of these days someone gets hurts by these door) #lawsuit.

An amazing place to shop in reality, the variety of food, the Mexican foods they have there groceries And they have a variety, may I have very good specials?I recommend this grocery store to anyone

I probably won't shop there much because the sale prices they had on the shelves was not the price I got charged. The sale prices had expired but they hadn't taken the signs down. I say until the sale prices are taken off the shelves the prices shouldn't be changed in the computer. My clerk was very kind and helpful. I have no complaints there.

Terrible customer service. They never rotate anything so most of the products are outdated. I went to the deli today I was polite. The lady refused talk to me she used hand gestures . But yet the guy behind me she talked just fine to he was white just saying . Here is a pic of the tomatoes I bought today they were moldy disgusting!

They carry more varied Asian cooking supplies then I've found elsewhere locally. They also have some great values in their meat department at times. It's a nice market with nice staff.

I was anecdotally having a bad morning but some employees here helped me get my day back straight with simple kindness in conversation. Sometimes little things can mean a lot and you can't train people to be kind, you can only hope to find kind people and keep them.

Rude employees. Don't recommend going here. Rather go to albertsons and pay more than getting treated like trash. Manager was very rude as well. Tried to get dinner for my kids and she followed me around and was running her mouth..

Wish I had caught the cashier name there. She was incredible friendly even let my 6 yr granddaughter try one of ketchup chips ,which she then had to have a bag,LoL. If she happens to read this because,of you and your kindness I will be shopping this store again the price are a touch higher than Walmart but, customer service means more to me and you went out of your way that day and put a smile on her little face and showed her an example of a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you!! I will be back and will make sure I catch your name this time. Also thank you for information on the program your store has regarding veggies and fruit for those who have EBT I think it's an amazing program. I no longer get EBT but, I will be doing my shopping at this store because of your kindness and the amazing program you have for customers.

Googled for closest Asian market to my location & this popped up 1st. Only 1/4 of an aisle w/Asian items. Oh! And someone making sushi in the corner of the store, as you walk in. I'm sorry, but the fish should be fresh.

Check dates. Vigilantly. Especially the milk, which i find to be *frequently* outdated. Most recently this last week when most of the whole milk in the cooler was a day past its best by date.The aesthetic changes look lovely and all.... but "face your shelves and check your dates" maybe needs brushed up on with staff.

The customer service is great, prices are a little bit high, and the store is clean or organized. An issue I had today was digital coupons that failed to completely go through. I tried to work with the cashier, they couldn't fix it so I cashed out and asked customer service for help. Everything worked out eventually but I wasted 20 minutes or more in a system that should work correctly. Not the first time also. Just do the math and make sure everything goes through correctly.

When I came here and 2011, I was pretty happy that there was a place to get good Japanese food. Now there is so much less of that and It looks like the quality and selection has really gone downhill, not to mention that the prices are high for things you can get much cheaper elsewhere. Sad.

Wish this store was closer. Meat is by far superior to any of the local stores. Friendly staff and great service. I happened to be there when the middle school let out one day...a nicer more polite group of young people does not exist. They engaged with me ...made me laugh and were amazing...even tried to let me cut in line. My faith in young people was restored!!

Red Apple has some awesome sales! I also really like their meat market. I recently had one of the checkers leave her station to help me with a heavy item. (She did not have customers waiting). Very thoughtful.

All their meat has become thin sliced and is quite expensive. Plus they no longer do their own doughnuts by hand they would rather order in cheap pre-made frozen ones so don't bother with the bakery. The new owner seems dead set on destroying the parts of this store that brought it a good reputation. With both the meat going south and the bakery you may as well shop at Walmart

Shopped here many times. This time I was doing laundry so I came over for a donut and decided to get a corn dog. As I waited for the two ladies behind the hot food to finish there conversation while not acknowledging me whatsoever I grew impatient. After they finished conversing one of the ladies walked up and said what can I get ya… i waited for them to stop talking so I thought I might get a hello or good morning sir but nope right to the point so I said I’m good thanks and moved on to the donuts. Well I picked out one donut before I noticed flies and gnats ON THE DONUTS!!! Nope that’s going in my mouth and quite frankly I won’t shop here anymore due to the bugs and awful customer service.
