Current Cafe catered an event for my family in September. The sandwiches and chowder were delicious. All the details of coordination from dining setup, menu and cleanup were excellent and truly showed that a small community like Oceanside has an outstanding cafe that is to be proud of. Thank you Current Cafe and team for making my Mom's life celebration perfect in every way!

I love coffee and can be particular. Especially if I am going to recommend it. My decaf mocha was delicious and my view divine. This is our regular spot when we visit Oceanside. And their ice cream selection is extensive and perfect for the family after a couple of hours on the beach. If you are in or near Oceanside check it out. Their food is delicious and the surf gear is quality stuff.

Make sure to stop in to Current Cafe and Lounge. Their staff is patient and kind. They have well made drinks and food. They expand their offerings to include items you may have forgotten to bring with you on your overnight trip to the coast. They provide wall and counter space to local artists and creators. Don't forget they rent bikes and claiming gear for your beach experience. If you're of the surfing type, they offer rentals and sales in the other half of the building.

I had my lunch today in this restaurant I got the fish (halibut)and chips and i ordered to go for the chipotle chicken quesadilla and it was soo good. The staff are friendly and nice. Me and my sister always comes back here when we go to the beach 🏝️.

Had a late lunch, delightful! My oldest relatives ate here in August and said the same thing. Excellent food and friendly staff. Much better hours than the other two restaurants. Higher quality food and better service than the dinner restaurant across the street plus outdoor seating. The whole surf store with rentals lessons is brilliant and a lot of fun to be around. Fun interesting folks come here. Yay!

Wifi access, walking distance from Tunnel Beach. Owner is super nice and friendly. Coffee was delicious and we ended up buying a bag of the whole bean Expresso roast. They also serve food and pastries. Cute little place connected to a surf shop.

Overall 5 stars, especially the clam chowder in bread bowl. The clam chowder was great and the bread bowl was fresh, no old smell and it’s toasted! The best clam chowder I’ve ever had. We will visit the city again very soon and I will force my folks to visit the place again for my favorite clam chowder bread bowl! My husband liked the breakfast burrito too. It’s huge! Staff were very friendly. Wish there were more seats.

Cozy cafe adjacent to the surf shop. Top notch coffees, great breakfast with lots of options. Has a good spread for lunch (did not try, but will next time). Discovered place yesterday when getting an ice cream, came back for breakfast today. Clean restrooms. Also sells pastries, crafts and photos from local artists.Staff is super firendly, warm and inviting. Outdoor and indoor seating, or get it to-go and watch surfers from the other side of the street.Pro-tip: Check out the "specials" board just below the order counter on the floor!

Dynamite!We took our breakfast to go since we had some wet and sandy pups but the food may have been the best takeaway we've had in a couple of years. I had the lemonade and the avocado toast (without the egg) and it was awesome. The toast was warm and crispy and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The balsamic drizzle added a light touch of sweetness. My husband had POG and breakfast burrito and loved them. Can't wait to visit again!

Super friendly staff and great views! The food was quick and great! The clam chowder was recommended so we decided to give it a try and it was delicious! We ended up buying one of the cute hoodies in the lobby! The avo toast with cheese and eggs was fantastic and the bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was great too! strongly recommend. Also- great vegetarian options!

W ha t a great spot! Small menu, but everything is fresh and good. Had the avocado toast and not a brown spot to be had, great bread and balsamic glaze delightful. Other options, bagels, breakfast burritos ect. Looked equally fresh. Even had a smoothie the day before with Fresh fruit, not syrups. Local art on walls for sale, also. Definitely recommend

Came here hungry after a hike at Cape Lookout. A lot of good options to choose from. I ended up going with the beer battered fish tacos. Delicious. The tortillas were nice too! Highly recommend for an after hike lunch with a view of the ocean!

Very friendly people and nice view. A great community spot worthy of supporting for sure. I ordered the breakfast burrito. 4 stars because it was very basic (potato, egg, cheese and bacon), a solid breakfast burrito, but for $15 I’d hope for just a bit of pizazz. Toss in some fresh cilantro or parsley, grill up a lil poblano pepper and onion, anything to add some seasoning and excitement. I get breakfast burritos at taco stands for $8 with more flavor… it wouldn’t take much, but this dish needs a lil addition to make it a 5 star $15 dollar deal IMHO.

This place is truly a gem. Cory and his staff are kind, personable and genuine individuals. The shop is super cool with lots of nice merch that we were happy to buy and take back as a token of our time here. The food -just a few steps away, is amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed dinner the first night, and breakfast the next day before heading back home. One of the best meals we had out in this area. We will def be back soon
