And Dr. Tom was absolutely amazing and understanding to me and my Harley boy.IF I get another dog after Harley I’ll be coming here. They’re everything I’d hoped for in a vet and more. Dr. Tom has been seeing our 12 year old dog since he was 6 months old. We've really appreciate the kind and compassionate yet extremely competent care Dr. Tom has provided over the years. Dr. Tom obviously spends time staying up to date on the latest in veterinary care and shares his knowledge. I really appreciate that he explains his diagnosis/thinking and rationale for treatment and goes the extra mile with providing information so that I feel informed to make decisions. The office is cozy, the staff is friendly and the whole experience is very personable. And, after all these years, Fritzi still wags his tail as we go through the front door for an appointment!

By far the best vet clinic around. Dr. Tsui and his staff are so kind and very knowledgeable. Every time we come in the staff is so excited to see our dog Bentley. This is the only vet that my 10 year old dog is actually excited to go to. We would highly recommend them!

Dr Tsui and his staff were AMAZING. I brought my 16y old kitten for a check up and they were patient, answered all my questions and very thorough. Highly recommend!!!We recently had to bring our super senior kitten back to be put to sleep. It was VERY traumatic for our kids since they grew up with her. Dr Tsui and his staff were AMAZING and sensitive and caring. I would not go ANYWHERE else!!! :)

Outstanding business! I was in a tight place financially and was upfront and honest with them about it. I wasn't looking for anything free but rather to spread services over a few months maybe. What was incredible was the doctor wrote me personally. Not only were they the only place to write me back but also the gentle nature and tone of this man made it clear this was the place to go. They worked with and we have a plan moving forward to get my BFF taken care of. Saying I highly recommend this place doesn't elevate it high enough. The care alone was worth it! Amazing visit with every attention to detail taken. This has to be the cleanest clinic I have ever seen. I could not feel more secure or comfortable bringing my fur baby here. The staff are amazing and the Doctor is phenomenal. I had every single question answered and did not feel rushed or hurried. We even made a plan for pain management for my little one which is something I have been anxious about. I now have a clear understanding about her issues and the best path to take for her in the future. We have found our new home ❤️ Thank you North Plains Veterinary Clinic!!!

Dr. Tsui is an old school veterinarian. He is a one doc shop, and they're not available as much as other vets in the area as he's a human being with a stressful job, and needs solid time off too. That's an important thing to understand. He is also not inexpensive, but he does not try to get you to do things that aren't really needed, we've been through that elsewhere. The cost goes into the staff and the quality. If you're onboard with that approach, you'll get the best veterinarian care in the area.My husband is in the medical profession and he loves the conversations with Dr. Tsui who loves to do research and is firmly evidence based in his practice. He is a huge admirer of Dr. T. as a scientist.Dr. Tsui also just has the biggest heart you can imagine. We had a puppy he diagnosed with congestive heart failure (an urgent care doc missed it) and gave us referrals telling us to act immediately. The referred cardio vet was amazing but she said there was only one doctor who could cure our dog -- in Ohio! When we told Dr. Tsui we were making the drive across the country to save the puppy, there were tears in his eyes. That's how much he cares.And we love his staff too. It's like walking into a family situation, they're all pretty tight.

We have been bringing our two cats here since they were kittens, and have been very happy with the care they receive from this team. Tom, the vet techs, and the front office team are all wonderful, and are easy to work with. Our cats have been in kind and thoughtful hands, and I would happily recommend this clinic for pet care.

I don't think I could say enough good things about this place and Dr. Tsui. He is the most kind and professional doctor I have ever met. I would recommend everyone to take their pet to him. First met Tom and his crew when l visited as an industry rep..... One of the first things that struck me was Tom talking to me about an issue one of my own dog's was having, and was being treated for at another specialty hospital.... He wasn't being critical of her treatment at all, but was so helpful in his explanation of the actual disease process that eventually claimed her life... I was so impressed I moved my other pets' care to his practice. I so appreciate the thoroughness of his exams to say nothing of the time he spends answering my questions and explaining treatments and recommendations. The phone calls to check in, go over lab results etc are awesome. Love all his staff, their treatment of my special fur babies (and boy are they 'special' ) and their support for me as the four legged's Mum

Went to this place back in July and was great. Super friendly and first visit for my dog. Everything was amazing and than I wanted to get a quote for a teeth cleaning/1 tooth to be pulled . They wanted a little over 2,000 dollars for the operation. I could not afford that and they don't have any payment plans. Yesterday I called to get my dog scheduled and now I have to pay for another exam 70$ beacuse it has been to long. Not only that they want over 3,000 now for just a cleaning and pulled tooth with 10 to 15 % higher costs they said. Just outrageous and totally un-affordable surgery care. I feel horrible that I can't afford this but also bad for anyone that has a serious health issue for there animal. I love my dog more than anything but cannot save that much money in the 6 month period before you want to charge me for another exam. I have a family and newborn on the way. Hope this helps anyone when looking Into costs and surgery.

After 25 plus years of being Dr Tom’s client, I am told by his employee that I should plan better if my dog’s vaccination is expiring within 2-3 weeks while the office is back logged for over 4 weeks for an appointment due to an explosion of new Covid puppies. My dog has been in his care for 2 yrs already... not a new client! Very disappointed!!

Dr Tsui and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to their jobs. I absolutely love how informed Dr Tsui is on the latest studies in veterinary medicine. If your pet needs medication he’s able to tell you detailed information about the studies done on it to ensure it is a safe one for your pet. He takes time to make sure you fully understand any diagnosis and gives great follow up steps. It’s clear he really cares about each pet that comes into his clinic. We’ve been going to Dr Tsui for over 20 years. He truly is the best.

Dr. Tom and the entire staff are truly amazing! They are compassionate and caring always. They have gotten me through some very sad moments with love and compassion. I always received a card with the entire staffs signatures and kind words. I cannot say enough about how I feel about these wonderful people..They truly are the best!!!!!

1st time visit, vet was very helpful explaining things, wasn't able to go in because of covid-19, seems like a good place. (Did give 4 stars)*Well after other visits with booster shots, I am now clear the communication here is not the best. They gave my kitten a rabies shot when taken in for a booster for cat leukemia and I was never informed of this, or pricing. They just ask for my card and send a receipt. My biggest problem is I live 45min away and they never even rechecked his ears after an ear mite treatment to tell me if their treatment worked, or if we needed to do more?!? Two visits have happened since the ear treatment and not a word about it?? Where's the follow up and concern? Also, every vet I've had before calls the day after a big visit to see if the pet is doing ok, no calls or concern for that either. So if you are concerned about price, and like good communication and follow up, and consolidated visits...be very concise and firm, or pick another vet.

Followed our favorite groomer Ashley to her new and better location “North Plains Veterinary Clinic”. Not only is the quality of service she provides EXCELLENT, but Ashley genuinely cares about your pet. This is critical to me because Dakoda is so important. Sadly we had to put our elderly cat to sleep. The vet and staff were extremely kind, empathetic and professional. We have used NPVC for two years and will continue to do so. They sincerely care about animals and are very compassionate.
