Some of the better quality meat and produce in town but ordering from their deli has gone down hill. Ordered the express special which is significantly more expensive these days which I was willing to accept but they only partially filled the container. Not worth the money I put it back in their deli section and left they can keep their overpriced partially filled container of Chinese food.

Although listed as the smallest Safeway in America, they do still have big savings and big value. The employees here are friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile and always thanking you for your business. There is plenty of parking, even dedicated R.V. spots, and it's conveniently located in Lakeside, OR. not far off of HWY 101.If you need to get items for your home meals, just the essentials or even some not so common items on your next outdoor adventure, consider stopping in and seeing the folks at this Safeway location, you will not be disappointed!

The morning self check employee, Candi, is someone I find to be incredibly rude and condescending. She insisted I made a mistake in entering information into the computer after she KNEW the issue was store coupon related. I did not make a mistake and I didn't appreciate how she snidely makes false allegations about customers!

I usually go to Safeway on Johnson in Coos Bay, but I was in North Bend and went to the Safeway there, it was on 4/17/24 at around 2pm and the thinner woman working in the deli was the rudest person I have encountered in a very long time, I will continue to shop at Safeway on Johnson, they aren't rude there

We stopped in to get fresh flowers for a family event. Absolutely beautiful roses and small green flowers similar to chrysanthemums. Family members made a wedding arch that turned out exactly like the photos we found online. The roses stayed pretty for an entire week, even after taking them down off the arch and making little bouquets. Both Safeway stores in this area had the same beautiful cut flowers for reasonable prices. Safeway comes through again! 🌹

Finally remodeled! Great store now and so far in stock on their ad items. The checkouts seem to run smoothly this time of the year. Parking lot is busy but easy to navigate through. Produce section is colorful and crisp. Recommend this establishment.

the prices are a little inflated, but the staff here is wonderful. the produce and meat are always top notch. the bathrooms are always clean.the pharmacy needs a little bit of work. no complaints about the actual staff, but the line for the pharmacy is usually quite long and you have to stand in line blocking everyone's access to to some of the groceries.I think if I could change anything about this store it would be the pharmacy waiting situation. there should be a separate waiting area so as not to interrupt the shopping experience and traffic for the rest of the shoppers. it's just a really bad design.otherwise, a wonderful shopping experience.

2 days ago, I was shopping at safeway when I felt the affects of my diabetes starting to crash. I went to the deli for something sweet. The person that helped me was Cindy. She noticed something wrong and I told her I was crashing. She offered to leave the top open and handed me a paper towel and fork. She put the price sticker on the bottom. I want to praise Cindy for her kindness and observations. As one who has to deal with diabetes, it meant a lot to me for her help! Thank you Cindy!

Today I used Monopoly game coupons. They were instant winner coupons. I couldn't find everything so I asked for help. Everyone was more than willing to show me where the different products were located in the store. That was a great help to me. I am new in town and I'm still getting used to this different market. I love North Bend, OREGON Safeway! Produce is always abundant and fresh. Good prices. The store is always so clean. The offer several other varieties of things that the Coos Bay store doesn't have. The cashier was not so friendly to me. Maybe she was having a bad day. It's New Years Day and seemed quite slow. I hope her year isn't as rude for her as she was to me.

This is a clean and well stocked Safeway. They have a pharmacy in the back which is always busy. The Chinese food is best earlier in the day but starts to look gross around dinner time. The produce is fresh. They have bathrooms in the front and they are accessible but the hallway might be narrow for some mobility devices. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and quick. I’ve heard nothing but wonderful experiences here.

Fridays sales are wonderful, but very busy. I find that going shopping for groceries around 8-9pm during a week night is perfect time. Maybe 10 people in the store and employees are so much nicer because they are not being rushed, screamed at by customers and their stress levels are calmer and it shows when you ask for any type of assistance while shopping later in the evenings. Just park on the floral side doors because they lock the Deli side doors at 9pm for safety because less staff is needed to be there in every single the department, because they close nightly at 11pm.The self check out is food for many things. It keeps you calm as you buy your groceries at your own pace, and it helps you keep track of each thing you ring up so you don't over shop as much of us tend to do.The online App is a wonderful incentive to shop at Safeway because you really do save money everytime you shop there. And most people even save on gasoline fill ups and coffee services to, and their convince of being on the property as well. Safeway also has a Delivery service and instacart available for those who can't or are not able to get out of the homes to shop for themselves or aren't feeling well or just plain don't enjoy shopping at all, but love the Quality of the great food Safeway has to offer.There's even a section for dinning inside for customers who want to enjoy a meal from the Groceries they've purchased, or from the delicious choices that the Deli & Bakery has to offer us daily.So if your lòoking for Quality, perfect service, and prices we can afford, SAFEWAY is the choice for me.

I love are local Safeway for one I love getting star bucks before I start my shopping it's nice Safeway put Starbucks in love, love it. Second the employees there are always friendly and always helpful 5 stars to the North Bend store.

Very clean store. The employees are super friendly. But the meat department is stellar! It's so clean and organized. It is well stocked all the time. The Manager Brandon goes above and beyond to help the customers. He is extremely knowledgeable and wants to ensure the customer is getting exactly what they need. He is always professional and his department clearly demonstrates his dedication.

Safeway has always been a little more expensive than other stores, but they have good sale prices. I went in because of these and was not happy with this experience. Every digital coupon was wrong, and had I not gone through my receipt I would have been overcharged a bundle! Example: cheerios had label with digital download of $2.49, came up in app as 2.99! and charged over $4.00 at register. Happened on every item I bought. I talked with store manager and she said to call corporate!! I said, no, this is a store issue, and she said "nothing I can do, I'm just acting supervisor". Get it together, North Bend Safeway. If you want people to use digital downloads, make sure they are correct and have management be responsible! Can you say "deceptive marketing"!

Safeway is a nice store to shop at. Yes, it's more expensive than Walmart and other bargain grocery stores, but safeway has superiors quality products. Example: Lucerne Milk tastes great; from California, it's not bad. Great Value Milk taste like white water, and we have no idea where their milk came from.Safeway meat: top of the line. Walmart meat: You get old, starved cows. Safeway is owned by Albertsons. They kept it largely the same, and its appreciative. Their security is better (hardly any reprobates), they treat you nicer, and it's a pleasant experience. The only reason. Why they're not receiving a 5 star is because, for some reason, their prices on beer and wine are outrageous. You're going to pay several dollars more for the same beer at a convenience store; Yes!!! Their beer is more expensive than 7-Eleven's. I think it's because they're a Mormon company, and they are trying to save your soul. It's hard to say.

This is my go to store. There's usually really good sales going on and I always get such wonderful service. The store is always nice and clean, well organized, and has a nice assortment of whatever you could need. The ready meal section is great, awesome sushi, and a very nice cheese selection!

Excellent overall service. Dave in the alcohol section is very knowledgeable and helpful. Has taught me a few things about wine! Staff are friendly. Prices are good for the area. Only quasi-complaint is the evening deli worker is impatient and rushes my orders. I shop here regularly and will continue to do so!
