I understand that they have to pay employees but the cost of some of the donated items is really high. Some of the stuff is the same as you would pay at a regular store... use to go there for clothes and shoes for different reasons but now the cost I can go to Ross or Walmart and pay same or less for new.

Used to like going here until the uneducated staff failed BIG time. I bought a 6.99 item, rounded up to 7.00 and their register had a receipt printing error. The register did not print a receipt so the employee called a manager. Well that Manager refused to give me what i paid for even after i pulled up my banking app to show it went through, so i left.Ten days later I'm still out 7 bucks, which isn't much, BUT I am not gonna let the nonprofit, profit off me. So I go in and request a manager. After too long of nobody confessing to it (that manager was there and completely denied it, and she knew she was wrong, she couldn't look me in the face) I got my 6 dollars, then corrected their counting ability, got my 7 back.In the end, the supervisor and manager on duty on November 17th 2023 at approximately 4:00pm are horrible. They are rude, defensive, have major attitudes, need to be in a group to handle anyone, and can not count to 7.TRAIN OR GET AN EDUCATED, INTELLIGENT, CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATED PERSON IN THERE AT ALL TIMES. OTHERWISE THE GOOD WILL IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! Good thing I have balls or those mean girls thought they could gang up on me..... not today.. nope not today.

Just Wow! Prices outrageous! I’m from Medford and our stores are more reasonable. $39 for a used Free Country coat! I’ve seen similar new at TJ Max for less. I travel throughout Oregon and Ca and visit lots of nice Goodwill stores. I wouldn’t give my business to this one! I understand SOME of the $ helps folks with vocational training but they do have well paid CEO’s as well!

Insane pricing! It baffles me that anything in this store gets sold with how expensive it is. I’ve given up on trying to find clothes here as I can just buy them brand new at either Ross or Walmart.The only good thing I would say about this Goodwill is their used book selection. I’ve found some awesome business and home improvement books here but even some of them are overpriced. I would say if do you find anything worth your while, be sure to donate a t-shirt so you can get their 20% off coupon.

I had a pleasant shopping experience. Bought, a nice pair of jeans, flannel shirt, a sweater, neglige and a bra. Total price of $24,22. Bargain in my own personal opinion. Would recommend this store.

The most overpriced goodwill I've ever been in. They have prices higher than what the original price tag was brand new. A rug originally at the store NEW was $9.99 and they prices it $13.99. Which tells me they hardly even look at what they're pricing. The clothing is even expensive. Will not be shopping there anymore.

This place is legitimately selling Dollar Tree items for 50-75 cents more. (Home goods section, go look) Cheap random old crusty sunglasses slip covers were $2, should of been 50 or 25 cents. Found a few pairs of jeans clearly %100 stretched /worn out/ thin, basically garbage for $29.99. Then, a nice pair of Lucky Jeans in a larger size for $12.99 makes absolutely zero sense. Im willing to pay a little more if its good quality but yikes 🤯 This goodwill wants to overprice everything. Rude staff, kuddos the strawberry blonde girl who was nice and actually acknowledged people when they walked through the door. 2 stars for you 🙂🙃 fun browse though but no thank you.... next.

Usually have a pretty good selection of decent items. Customer service was lacking. Wanted to buy a large TV. Asked for help finding an outlet to plug it in & check if it worked. Was vaguely directed to an outlet, which didn't work. Had to wander through store with heavy TV to find an outlet to test it. Then stood in line holding massive item waiting to check out while checker stood there & decided to answer the phone first ignoring us until her conversation was over. Was never offered any kind of assistance either.

Staff are not very friendly nor helpful, definitely more worried about themselves and just getting the task and hours done, then actually attempting to offer any form of proper customer service. I love hearing directly from a staff members mouth, "You couldn't have worst timing, I'm to busy for this right now." Isn't part of your job TO ASSIST the customer if they need help? Especially in an area that requires assistance because it's behind the counter...

Have shopped here a few times, and donated several times. Overall, it isn't bad compared to other goodwills I have visited in the past. Still smells funny (just like all the others), and has mostly what you'd expect, but is a bit small. Service was 5 stars from the in-store employees, and 3 stars from the donation drop-off personnel, 3 stars for store cleanliness, 4 stars for selection, 3 stars for product prices, 5 stars for product organization, 5 stars for a clean parking lot and good parking. Overall, they receive a solid 4 to 4.5 star rating from me for the reasons stated above.

I love this goodwill, but it always seems to be crowded with people, and be hard to maneuver the aisle' a with a shopping basket.Most of the staff are friendly and respectful, and quick to help out if asked, and they are most definitely honest.I left my phone in the changing room, and drove all the way home, before I realized it.My daughter and i, raced back, and someone had already turned my phone in, after signing for it, I said my thanks, and left.

Very crowded todayUpon entering the parking lot I realized my mistake but it was too late.I had to wait in line for a parking spot which isn’t that big a deal for my small car, but I couldn’t back out because of the cars behind me so I went for it.I went particularly for shoes and board games.Men’s shoes selection was very limited.Board games were few.So I fought my way out to my car and left empty handed and sweaty.

I love this goodwill... It's a fun place to shop that has unlimited treasures to find, but even better, this goodwill has an excellent crew working there...Yesterday I took my mom there, she has dementia and her fav thing is thrifting... The staff was so helpful, especially the tall associate who was happy to reach something on a top shelf and even waited patiently as mom and I discussed getting it or not... He was so kind, even when we decided for him to put it back... Kindness counts!And... While I was waiting on my mom, I noticed the young man who was greeting people at the door... He was genuinely engaging with every person who came in, in a way that was authentic and real... This individual was also happy to go across the whole store to help someone on the other side without batting an eye... He was happy to help and it showed! Refreshing!Good job goodwill of coos county, your good management is showing! 😉

I have noticed that when the discount color changes every Sunday. So I have been going there every Sunday for the past 2 months. I have noticed that the discount color does not go with what they have on shelves. Last week the color was orange and on shelves was blue red yellow. You might get lucky and find the discount color. The discount color does not match with what they have on their shelves. Seams like the color that ya out you have to hunt for. We all come to the good will to find a bargain but it’s like a needle in a haystack . The discount color should match the color on the shelves. We should not have to hunt to bargains. If the discount color is blue than make sure there are blue tags on the shelf. If it’s pink make sure there are pink tags out. Ok you get my point .

Super friendly and helpful employees. Currently all orange tags are half off. Dressing rooms are open! Staff sanitize each cart right after use, plus counters after each customer checks out.

I went in looking for two blankets which will be used for my dog's beds. I have been searching everywhere for two good-sized blankets to wrap their bolster beds in so they will stay warm at night, and thankfully I did find two blankets at Goodwill that will work beautifully. And the price was extremely reasonable.

The store is all about how much money they can make off of poor people and the items they sell a lot of the time are priced higher than the original price of the brand new productI'm not happy about the other issues with this store in general. The owners are just getting rich off of things that are donated. Then they have the balls to ask for your change to go towards the job connection but why don't they get enough free money anyway 🤔

Was told to leave the store because I was wearing non lethal pepper spray on my belt! I will never support that store in anyway. Even if it was a Real Gun with real bullets there should be No Problem! They obviously don't believe in the Constitution of the United States.

In September and October of 2021, my wife and I traveled over 8000 miles through 18 states. In total, we stopped at 7 different Goodwill across a good part of the country, and soon realized that the Coos Bay store has THE HIGHEST PRICES we saw anywhere. I can say for a fact that their prices on many items like men's clothing and shoes have increased about 40% to 50% in recent history. What they sell is donated to them FREE, so trying to blame the prices on inflation can't explain it. It's sheer greed in their management. Shop some of the other thrift stores in the area and you'll see that Goodwill is by far the highest. It's like they're competing with retail stores.

My wife went in alone this trip, she said they still are making you wear a mask to enter. Question: Covid 19 and the Flu are both viruses, why does wearing a mask help stop the spread of Covid but does not stop the spread of the Flu?Great store to shop in, the clothing part is again open. Will not cost you an arm and a leg. We enjoy shopping here, the employees are very nice and willing to help you when needed. Enjoy your stop here.Shell

We had this store close to home, loved to swing by often as inventory keeps changing quickly. Got a lot of cool things at very affordable prices. But watch out, as some things seemed overpriced to us.. so look for your deals! Good luck!

Their prices are out of control these days! If you want used good at new prices; This is the place for you. I used to love shopping at thrift store for a good deal on things that are hard to find and/or expensive. Unfortunately at this good will they believe everything they own is worth its' weight in gold. I WILL NOT be returning until I hear that their prices have dropped! They are a thrift store don't pay the insanely high prices for stuff they get for free!

It could be better but some of the prices are like going to Walmart like they had some monster high dolls that were $4.99 each they did not have clothing and they were dirty. Shoe's $6.99 -$12.99 that to much for used shoe's I worked at a second hand store for 12 years and I had my own store for 10 year's in the store I worked in shoe's were .50 and at my store they were $1.00-$2.99 and if they were new and brand name $5.00 at the most and I know you have a good cause and so did I. we gave horse riding lessons to autistic kid's or other disabilities. My was a 503c too. Little kids pants $4.99 -$8.99 it is just to much money. I shop online most of the time. But when I donate I stop and shop for my granddaughter.

This location is full of treasures! They also clearly took time to organize all of it, showing incredible effort and pride in this store. Definitely recommend taking the time to go and peruse slowly, aisle by aisle, so you don't miss out on a glorious find.

I enjoy shopping at this store but I have found problems that the store and the company should address. They need to make sure items and clothing are clean. I have opened up furniture and other items to find spoiled food and other debris in them. And the clothing costs are not competitive with st Vincent DePaul. I think these suggestions could benefit your stores.

I give one star they say they are here to help the community that is b.s. they get everything donated to them and they jack up the price on stuff if it's name brand or worth more money. How is that for our community and if tell them you only have so much money but you really need something they won't drop the price. The owner of that store is sitting high on the hog.
