I just took my 13 week old Pom puppy Missy to this shop for her FIRST grooming experience and it could not have gone better! First of all the owners are so sweet and gentle with your babies! They were super patient with my puppy and exposed her to lots of grooming experiences in the most gentle way possible. They let her check the equipment out before they used it on her, and they were super careful with her nails. When I got there Missy didn’t show any signs of stress or anxiety, she obviously had a wonderful experience. That’s the only downside, your dog may not want to leave after their groom! She even got a cute little bandana and smelled amazing! We will be returning for sure! (Also the little bald patch on her knee in one of the pictures is just how her fur is, not a result of her trim).

They did an awesome job, I love that they do one dog at a time. They told me hour and half, but was done lil bit over hour. Sedona has only had one groomer in Alaska an is going on 3 yrs old. Sorry I'm not the best photo taker and these were week after her spa day :)

My Lil chihuahua usually is shaken up after getting her grooming done but she was happy as could be after her visit to Dog Star! I like how it's a nice an mellow atmosphere an not a ton of other dogs barking. I'm just about to make another appointment. They are wonderful!

My dogs 3 really like their grooming here; always happy, not stressed out. Haircuts have been fabulous. Owners are really nice people. You MUST wear a MASK for service; cash/check only.

They did a great job on my dog! Best cut she ever got. We had to change groomers because the last one she came home with several nicks. Dog Star gave her exactly what we asked for and even gave her a cute scarf and bow on top. They said she did great which to us means she was happy too. And we love that they use all natural shampoos. Thank you Dog Star, we will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went into get my blind dogs bellas nails done and he was very gentle,friendly fast. He did a great job on her nails thanks again I would recommend getting your dogs nails clipped at dog star grooming:)

They genuinely care about your lil fur babies. They aren't ever kenneled.. I have a 2 lb yorkie I take there. He just had his first groom. I would have liked them to take a little more fluff off him,but it was his first time and he is only 5 months . All in all I will be going back.

These guys are great. My little dog loves them and the gentleman who works there is super knowledgeable about skin conditions, how to treat them and is about as good as a vet in that area.This is the only place my dog has not left with fleas. There are several in town that my dog went in without a flea problem and was returned to me with fleas.

Best groomer I've had! Took my dog in today and he was done in an hour and looks, smells, and FEELS amazing. His coat is so shiny and soft! We've been struggling with fleas and he came out so happy and NOT itching!!! They did an amazing job plus gave me some things to try on our very stubborn fleas and some treats for my pup! I plan to be back every month for nails (and baths as necessary), they did a fantastic job!!!!

Today was Brodies 1st time to Dog Star in desperate need of grooming. I was so impressed with the customer service. The gentleman who waited on me was very friendly and full of a lot of knowledge. When he brought my little dog out to the car, I was thrilled with how well they groomed him. He is one happy puppy! Thank you so much and I will definitely let my friends know about you.

We have taken our mini schnauzer twice to this groomer. We are getting her a baby cut so far. We have been happy with the results and the low key atmosphere at the shop.. will most likely continue using them.

We are new to the area and quite nervous about finding a new groomer for Lexi our 9 y/o Malti-Poo. Luckily we heard about Dog Star Grooming. We were extremely happy with the job done, and our baby was very calm. Best groomers we have ever used. We will definitely be back for regular grooming.

I have a rescue dog. I told them he was a rescue dog and to take special care. They cut my dogs hair too short and then shaved his feet and his snout short short without my consent. They left razor burns on his legs, his stomach, his snout and his paws. They cut his nails on his right front paw too short and he flinches when I touch his right paw. I specifically told them that he cannot be groomed by a male because he will not be cooperative, clear as day told them that, and when I picked him up from them the dude brought him out and told me he was the only one who could groom him at the time and that he was not cooperative. When I already told them he did not like males. Overall I am very upset and my dog is traumatized.

Took my aunts not so mini Aussie in for a haircut with Lee and couldn’t be happier. He is sweet but oh so hyper and she did a beautiful job on him. The price was very reasonable and we will take him here again.

Molly is 8 months old and had her first groomer experience today, I normally do it. She looked amazing and was happy when I came to get her. She was a little shorter than I’d have liked but they still did great and next time I’ll just ask for a little longer.

I called and was excited that they only did one dog at a time, I was told the cost was $50 and up. Since I had a standard poodle who just had her last haircut 4 weeks ago, I figured I would pay up to $75. She is a therapy dog who I brush all the time. I asked them to make sure they trim her ears and tail and gave exact dimensions. When I picked her up, her ears and tail were not done, her cut was ok.....then they charged me $140.....I was stunned as almost all groomers in this area charge less than $75...... I am more than mad! And all she said on the phone when I enquirer is to knock other groomers in a very bad way.

After having Rosie bathed yesterday and using Dog Star for about 8 yrs, I thought I should leave a review. Simply, Jamie is the best groomer out of several I've used over the past 9 yrs. I just wished she lived in Cali instead of OR! I take my dog there 1 or 2x ea summer when we are travelling the OR Coast. I travel the extra time even though there are groomers closer. Yesterday, Rosie was done in less than an hour! She'll go back for a haircut in 2 wks B4 we head home.If you are looking for a gentle groomer, who uses excellent products, doesn't overbook, has fair prices, etc, then Dog Star is your groomer. In 8 yrs, I've never been disappointed and I cannot say that about any other groomer I've used @ home.

We have had horrible experiences with another local dog groomer. Needing emergency vet care. BUT at Dog Star they are exceptional. The only ones we trust to groom and clip our pups. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

The younger groomer is really inexperienced. Dropped the clippers ond took a chunk out of my dog's fur. Clippers too hot and burned the skin on his stomach.
