Kitschy and cute bookstore with wide, eclectic collection. Beautiful location, the owner is very friendly and the "shop dog", called Meggie (how sweet a name is that!), adorable. Don't miss this shop if you're near Newport!

Quaint little beach area with lots of unique shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming here. A great place to slow down and enjoy the moment!

I hate to give this place anything below 5 but I was disappointed with the owner this visit and how she got upset with my 9 year old daughter for accidently dropping a book. I held my composure and just let it go because I understand it's her home as well. But, If you have a kids section, one must have an expectation that a child may make a mistake. Just a warning to parents, it's a great little shop but watch your kids closely.

Great selection of classics. Well curated/organized and book inventory is (generally) good-excellent condition. I really enjoyed this bookstore. Found and bought the 1977 1st edition James Audubon 2 vol. Selected Birds & Quadrupeds of North America in new condition...a very nice find at a very fair price. Lots of interesting and collectible books here!!!

A quaint used bookstore in the heart of Nye Beach with a kind and knowledgable owner. I come here to browse her selection and soak in the quirkiness and vibes of this great little place. I've found her books to be in good condition and the prices to be reasonable. She also has great recommendations and carries books that are locally relevant or part of the public library book club.

This is a must stop for me during my annual visit to the central Oregon coast. I never leave without at least three books--I like to follow a visit here with a stop at Panini Bakery for bread, shortbread and a slice of pizza. One of my favorite neighborhoods!

Very quaint book store just the way they should be--inside an old house where a maze of shelves crowded with all sorts of books leads you to peaceful nooks tucked behind stairs and by windows, with conveniently placed chairs to boot. I enjoyed this book store very much. Worth a stop.

I’ve been trying to get here for awhile, but it was closed due to Covid. Finally got in today and it was great! They have a wide range of new and used books. They are taking covid situation seriously, and they also have a cute bookshop dog. What more could someone want!

Good selection, nice owners. Why 2 stars? No logic to their hidden pricing system. More importantly, they don't buy back books. Wha?! Gave some BS excuse about how they "hand pick" each book. Soooo, these "hand picked" books no longer fit your "hand picked" criteria after being sold? GMAFB. All I can figure is that they buy them so cheap that they can't offer enough money to not be insulting. Whatever the reason, I'm not returning.

This is a lovely small bookstore. There is even a bookstore dog. It had a decent inventory or both new and used books. For book lovers it is worth a visit.

I went here once and it smelled so bad of urine I couldn't stand it. There were also a couple of little dogs in there, and they were constantly under my feet. I don't think I will ever go back.

If you're at Nye Beach you should send her over to the book house and browse the collection and pick up something for a read nice place cozy in a prettier part of the village
