A hidden gem in Newport! Brian is so knowledgeable and a super nice guy. He was very hospitable to us as we rented a surfboard and wetsuits for the day. He went above and beyond by lending us a board bag and staying open even on his day off. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cool surf shop with good people!

This is the place to be if you’re surfing in and around Newport. Brian is a maestro of surf knowledge and they have a wide selection of surf crafts to offer. Awoooo!! Highly recommend y’all check them out.

Came to Newport for a family get together and my brother and I took our (fully grown) kids here to rent gear so we could check out the local surf. Couldn’t have come to a better place. My nephew is extra large so the owner pulled out a brand new XXL sit and booties that fit and the prices were totally fair. Best of all was the advice on where to go . Brian sent us to Otter rock which is a friendly spot for beginners and we had a blast. Awesome!

I had the opportunity to visit and rent boards from various surfshops, but this experience stood out as the best. The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the shop had a great selection of cool gear and equipment. This is the BEST surf shop I’ve ever been in! Such a comfortable vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can look around and then hang out for hours watching surf films from the couches in the lounge. Great ownership, and amazing customer service. There’s a fantastic selection of locally made surfboards and apparel too! I highly recommend anyone in the area visit this shop 🤙🏼 yewww!

This is a great surf shop!!! I was visiting town for a week and Brian and Ty set me up! Board rental process is super easy and there is a huge selection of really fun boards. They were also super helpful in suggesting which spots might be working different days. I ended up seeing them checking out the different spots everyday and even saw them out in the lineup a bunch. Great guys that love surfing and know what they’re talking about. Give them your business!!

This surf shop is awesome. They have new and used surfboards for great prices. They have rental boards and surfboards that you can try before you buy. Lots of locally shaped surfboards and used wetsuits. They give private/personal lessons and the owner is one of the most surf-stoked dudes around. Support Local.Full disclosure: they consigned a board for me and it sold really fast and the vibe in this surf shop is just generally awesome and I want them to be a long term part of the Newport surf scene.Yeeeew!

The one stop surf for all your surf needs and more! Brian is nice and very knowledgeable, helped guide me in choosing a surf board, wetsuit and also has offered great advice that always rings true in my surfing and skate journey. If he doesn’t have it, he can get it or tell you where to find it. The thrift store is an added reason to stop by regularly.

This shop had unlimited great energy! They offer very fair prices for multiple services. The owners genuinely care about helping the community and youth, and it’s rewarding to see a cool skate ramp the kids can enjoy. Newport surf shop brings a unique vibe and model to the pnw.Has a half pipe for skaters, very fair consignment fees and you can rent your board out while you are selling it, making some $$ for us die hard surfers. Sick clothing line too gotta rep that gear fam!Brian is super knowledgeable and an amazing waterman who can help you get dialed on boards, repairs, gear etc.Highly recommend this shop!!
