These guys are great! Jacob and Rich were great to deal with. Their store is beautiful and filled with great merchandise! I saw an electric guitar in the front window passing through and a couple weekends later made the trip from Portland and purchased the danelectric. This place has a lot of cool stuff. I'm mainly interested in the guns and tools myself. But they have gaming systems, guitars, speakers, jewelry, tools, bikes, gloves, guns and accessories, sunglasses and a ton of other cool things. Definitely a place to check out. Make sure to check the prices, some items I was like wow they want that much for that but others I was like that's a really good buy.

These guys watched to much pawn stars. Greedy. I understand a business needs to make money however they will low ball you wether you sell or pawn. I sold a weed eater to them for 40 (needed the money and that's all they would offer, regret that decision) which they have priced at 125. That's quite a mark up. I also have a newer phone I was trying to sell to them and they go on eBay and find prices to low ball you however he was showing me parts only phones that sold for very little. That said they do have some items that are reasonably priced. Just don't expect much of your trying to sell or get a loan on an item. Side note. I know of a individual that knows the owner and the owner arranged for them and a jeweler to meet after hours because the jewelry was possibly hot. Point is this guys all about money and conducts shady business. Although he puts on a facade like he's some stand up character

The store looked great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.Unfortunately, I didn't get their names, but the two employees at the gun counter were awesome. I was visiting from Utah, and they made the buying process clear and easy. And they were generous enough to help me out with a case for transportation back to Utah.Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be stopping by.

Just called to find out if they had any laptops for sale and what was the cheapest one they had and got told, "Well, everybody is busy with a customer and I can't step away from the counter to go check it out." I always enjoy this store good people and good feel to the store. I’ve been looking for a clever for a long time. Made my rounds of the store wasn’t able to find what I was looking for a member of the store asked if I needed help i asked if they had a meat cleaver and they said yes but it was in a back room. Was exactly what I was looking for and a fair price. Will stop by every time I’m in town.

They moved! And they are definitely moving on up! This new location is more professional and their displays are eye catching and easier to view all their great stuff! Hint: park at the public parking lot behind the Mexican restaurant La Roca on SW 9th street because traffic will be a fight at the light, but worth the small walk.

Somebody told me that Newport Pawn shop was an honorable place to do business. I went and bought an outboard motor which I was unable to start at the Pawn shop. When I took it home 4 hours away I discovered that it had blown piston rings and very low compression-- blowing oil all over the place. I called them and they said to bring it back --no problem even knowing how far away I was. I brought it back 2 weeks later and they did inspect it very closely after which they gave me a full refund. This is very HONEST for a PAWN SHOP TO DO! It is encouraging to know that there is a Pawn Shop where folks who may be down and out can be assured that they are getting a fair deal. I write this on my own accord and would recommend this place of business to anyone I know.

Went for another bed the other day.test drove a few till we found the one that was perfect for us. We spent more time talking with the owners then it took to make the transaction. Always have a great experience when we shop there. Feels neighborly instead of a business. The delivery crew is always respectful and courteous. We actually have fun when we go there. Highly recommend doing business with them. You wont be disappointed.
