Grocery Outlet in Newport opened a while ago, but I only recently visited for the first time. I found great prices on candy and wine to make a quick hostess gift. The prices were so good that I returned the next day and stocked up on snacks and beverages for my own home. It's a good place to visit regularly because many offerings change and the prices are great.

Don't shop there much anymore. I get hooked on something good, (no bull mushroom steaks, shoepea corn, no bull crumbles, yummy 😋 and now they don't have any of it. Two weeks ago I found greenies there and gave my dog a treat on the way home 12 blocks away and just as we got home he started puking. He vomited all night and the next day. Called our vet and had to rush him to the ER for aspiration pneumonia. $1200.00 and 12 hours later we got home. I WILL NEVER buy dog treats/food or fresh items there again. 😡 I almost lost my dog who means the world to me. He was a gift to help with the stress and anxiety 💔 from losing my son Xmas morning. He is the only thing keeping me going. 🐶

The cashier accused me of stealing I've never stolen anything in my life but this store charges deposit on juice bottles that don't have a deposit so they're stealing

I love the iced coffee and cold brew selection in the fridge. The healthy food section is pretty darn good. I constantly find some of my favorite healthy brands for remarkable markdowns.

Wow, just wow! First, the groceries and things they sell here are NOT (that) weird. And they do sell what could be called "ingredients" -increasingly rare these days (lol)... Most shocking of all - the prices!! Made me feel like it has only been like three years since the world lost its mind in 2020 - incredible!! Very pleased!

Had a not so pleasant interaction with a cashier. I mentioned it to who I thought was another employee as I was leaving the store. It was the actual owner who was beyond apologetic and as kind as could be. That's the kind of business I will continue to support. Thank you!

Grocery Outlet is a wonderful store. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is maintained/stocked well. There are many organic/vegan/healthy options and the prices are fantastic. It is a great place to try out a new product at a discount versus somewhere else at full price (just in case you don’t like it). The wine selection is large and I was pleasantly surprised at the vegan wines that were available. I recommend checking dates on produce and perishables as this is an outlet store and dates could be close to expiration.

I absolutely love shopping there,its got a ton of high end products foreign and domestic for very competitive prices. Exceptional wine selection from vineyard's all over the globe for the best prices you'll probably ever find. However, 1 small caveat. For your routine household staples, it might not be the best place to do that type of shopping. This is simply because their inventory changes regularly including Brands and types of things that are on special that's what gives them the ability to have competitive pricing. In conclusion, great for trying out different items that might not be your reg everyday purchases. Although, if interested in trying new high quality, sometimes exotic imported products you simply can't go wrong.

We go in looking for good deals on animal food & supplies, but often find their prices are equal or higher than other stores that have better selection and consistent supply. The workers basically ignore you until you check out and they tell you good-bye. It's a store, it has stuff. Meh.

I LOVE this store. Some of the items on my list are not there. However, the deals I find in this store are worthy of my time, revamping my recipes to fit. This time, I switched Brussels sprouts for cauliflower. Easy peasy, and I saved a trip to another store and the $$ I would have spent on the sprouts at the other store. I WILL be shopping here FIRST every time!

They were wine tasting today, which was fun. I tasted a coke and red wine beverage from Spain. Not to bad actually.
