I feel like we hit this place on an off day with high hopes for the best coffee on the coast. Our coffees were light and not aromatic at all. The coffee tasted watered down. And that was disappointing. I thought it was just my hubby’s mocha but my latte was off too.The barista was excellent though and very friendly! Hoping to try this place again in the coming days to have a better cup.

We love it so much we drove 30 min out of the way just to come back for morning coffee and breakfast Best little place on the 101 for coffee & breakfast! Home made syrups, Eggnog and eats 😊 I wish there was one where we live. 100% recommend even if you're just looking for food! The box has the goat cheese avocado toast and I am holding the baconator, both are absolutely scrumptious!

Hands-down, this is the best coffee and breakfast place in Newport! Everything is made fresh in house. I had the avocado toast with goat cheese, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and walnuts, and it was delicious!!! My Mexican mocha was decadent. Ambience is warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Thank you so much for a lovely experience! This is our new go to place in Newport!

Definitely a reason this is the best rated coffee shop in Newport.Both the woman and the young lady working were so kind and patient with us as we looked over the menu at all their options. Got a 12oz latte for here, and it was well-made; nice, tight microfoam & the espresso was bold & smooth without being burnt.I got a bagel sandwich, my mother got the avocado toast, and my SO got a burrito. Everything was so delicious as well as being hot, fresh, and very well prepared. Definitely my new go-to whenever we come back into town! It’s a shame it’s taken me this long to find them. Truly, a diamond in the rough.

If you want the best coffee on the coast, go here.Great cozy atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff every time, and not to mention the BEST espresso I’ve ever had. And the baked goods are great as well! They usually have a good playlist going too.My partner is vegan and they are easily able to say which flavorings/syrups they have are vegan which is a big plus when ordering the specialty drinks.It’s a perfect place for 2 people to get coffee together.

Coasties Roasties has excellent coffee brewed right! I stopped in as I drove through Newport and was delighted to find this place.The coffee is made from Columbia River Roasting Company beans which are top notch. It's very rich and delicious.The food is also good. I just had time to try a puff pastry. It's a flaky French patisserie style breakfast treat. And it was even better than it looked. Which is saying a lot because it looks very tasty.Finally, the staff was super friendly and helpful to the point I want to give them 6 out of 5 stars, but alas, give them only 5.I will be back for more coffee I guarantee it!

Normally when visiting a town, I can never find good coffee. I did today at Coasties Roasties. I had ordered an orange mocha and it was fabulous. When looking in their case of goodies by the register, I also appreciated them because there were gluten free, vegan, and gluten free vegan options (that did not sacrifice flavor or texture) and were also pretty great. To top it off, the staff was very nice and cared about the coffee they were making. This is all around a great place to get a coffee and a sweet treat.Went back the day after and my orange mocha was the perfect balance blend of both sweet and bitter finished with the creaminess of coconut milk. It was good the day before, but today was a perfect balance (hard to find in a coffee place). My partner and I also learned they are able to make items off menu to tailor to food allergy needs. This is very appreciated since I have an egg and gluten allergy making it difficult to find stuff to eat while traveling let alone a good meal. This place is great, eat here.Update: Went back 1 year later and found it bought out by a new owner. Big disappointment in the quality, it was one of the worst cups of coffee I've had. It was so disappointing because this was one of my favorite coffee shops in the PNW.

Awesome coffee shop! I've stopped in a couple of times. I've had "specialty" drinks which have been really good. I've tried both the sweet and the savory pastries and they've all been good and reasonably priced. All the people who work here are SUPER nice. So thankful to have a unique, small business coffee and snack shop in Newport.

Please stop here. You MUST STOP HERE. I fell in love with the coffee and the baristas. I almost cried as I left on our last day as I waved goodbye. So convenient as you head south on 101. They have amazing hand made pastries and build a bagel. The only reason I can possibly imagine not stopping here is either you like hotel drip coffee or, you're in a massive hurry. They are making you beautiful perfect beverages and cooking your bagel. It will take a few minutes. They make their own caramel sauce. Lemon muffins, strawberry cream cheese puff, marion berry scones!!!

Very accommodating and kind people! Some of us had diet restrictions of egg and the cafe people were willing to make us bagles with our store bought bagels. Also, they were very patient with our long customized order.We ordered Capresè toast and it was delicious! We ended up ordering it again.

Probably one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in awhile! Customer service was great—food, pastries, and coffee was even better. Very cute and small, the atmosphere was very homey and I was able to comfortably read for a couple hours. Would definitely come here again!

Love this coffee shop! The cardamom latte is my fall fave, but these girls are always coming up with great seasonal options, flavors made in house. Highly recommend any of the homemade scones with sausage gravy! Also double punches on Thurs!
