It may be a bit more expensive at Naps, but they have high quality fresh meat and produce. Mitch the new owner is great, and willing to replace something if it doesn't live up to quality standards. It is within walking distance of where I live and is very convenient. I understand they are also regular donors to the Newberg FISH food bank, especially on holidays. Thank you Mitch and Naps employees for making my shopping experiences nice with friendly faces

Actually go out of my way to try to support this place, since it's 24 hours and local. Sometimes it's difficult, today was probably the last straw. I keep hearing how the fried chicken is pretty good, decided to give it a try I got a few pieces and like always the old ladies and the deli were just mean as can be, she picked around and gave me the coldest tiniest pieces available. I told her that she gave me the tiniest pieces, and she said yeah. Not sure why, she didn't seem to want me or I guess my kind in the store whatever that would be in her eyes. I tried to laugh it off and mention it to the cashier, and she said yeah we got to give the tiny bad pieces to somebody. I was just stunned, left my purchases and walked out. I'm just surprised that they tried to run people out because the place is almost always empty and just looks like it's going out of business

I just took back a loaf of Dave's Bread that Naps charged my wife $8.25 for. I've been shopping there for 33 years. With that sort of extortionary pricing I doubt I will go there again.

It seems like prices for groceries are falling everywhere but Naps...at this point it feels a bit like price gouging. I like supporting local, but this is ridiculous!!! They have a decent beer selection and a good but overpriced deli and meat department...but $4.00 for a small bottle of Cholula hot sauce...come on!!!

Great small town feel store that reminds me of my home town. Large walk-in beer cooler and the BEST donuts in town, but you better get them early because it’s no secret in town. I also recommend their bakery for cakes of all occasions.

I like supporting these smaller stores when possible- this one is a throwback to the 80's/90's. Employees are friendly and the selection is awesome.

Best Fried Chicken! I found myself in Naps Thriftway in the late afternoon recently and remembered someone telling me they had great fried chicken in their deli. Well, whoever that was had it right!I bought a carton - 8 pieces of fried chicken sitting in their warming window. The deli employee who handed it to me was delightful, too.I took this carton home seriously thinking, 'it's grocery store deli chicken, how good could it really be?'Well, the breading is crispy deliciousness with a little hint of spice perfection. The meat inside is tender and also delicious. I was jones-ing for a Popeye's to built in Newberg, but Nah! We don't need 'em.

Awesome service! Decent selection. Good prices! I've been struggling with a cold. I was able to call Nap's and the got exactly the items I wanted, charged my card and brought not only the items out to my car, but gave me the notepaper they used to write down my debit card number.
