This is only one of the many times my cats have received the attention and care of Country Kitty Kondo. Over the years, both Cookie and Jack have taken amazing care of my cats. My Punkin is the third guest to vacation at Country Kitty Kondo. She loves Jack. Everyone provides wonderful care at CCK. I would only let Cookie and Jack provide for my cats.

Our kitty, Lio, is currently residing in a spacious condo at Country Kitty Kondo. We recently relocated to Oregon from Hawai'i and Lio is leisurely enjoying his stay while we househunt. Jack is a kind and humane caregiver who clearly adores each of his charges. We couldn't recommend Country Kitty Kondos more. Two paws up!🐾

I've been taking my cat who requires medication there for two yearsExcellent care and the cat doesn't seem to mind going. Neat, clean, willing to work with any needs your cat had. Several options of styles of "condos" available. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give this place a better rating. I boarded several cats with this business in 2015. I was in-between houses and needed a place to keep my fur babies for a few months.There are three reasons I can't give this business a good review.One is that the owner, Cookie, absolutely lost it when I dropped in to visit one afternoon. She was completely distraught that I didn't call and make an appointment. She chastised me and raised her voice at me for this and I found that quite odd. If the place is open they should allow you to stop by.Second is that on the date of my visit I discovered that one of my cats had developed a severe eye infection. I discovered this upon visiting the cat, not because I had been called to be told about it, which was their "policy", along with taking in the pet for vet care and administering meds if needed. NONE of that happened. I was told the infection had "just started" that day. See the attached photos. It was definitely not something that had just happened. Upon discovering this I removed that cat from their care the same day.Shortly thereafter I removed the remainder of my cats and upon bringing them back into my home discovered that ALL of them had intestinal worms. I contacted Cookie and was told that "maybe they forgot to flea treat them". No maybe about it, they were all infested with fleas AND worms. Cookie did reimburse me for the cost of the worm treatments.This may be a place better suited for a short stay. But my strong recommendation is to hire a pet sitter to come to your home for anything longer than two days otherwise you're placing your cats at risk of suffering illnesses.

This is a premium cat boarding facilityI’ve boarded my cat(s). One of my kitty’s has traveled the rainbow bridge.I am finally able to see my family out of state and, of course I’m boarding there. I have used Cookie and Jack at Country Kitty Kondo for years. They take excellent care of my Kitty and I feel comfortable leaving her there.When I went out of state to care for my dad for the final 5 months of his cancer diagnosis, Cookie was so reassuring and cared for my kitties well. She did have a sketchy employee but got rid of him.If you need to board your kitties in a special place for cats only, be sure to consider Country Kitty Kondo!

Just picked up my two cats who have been here a little over 2 weeks while we were selling our home. They were able to accommodate us on the same day we called even though they were very busy. The cats looked totally comfy and happy in their condo; very spacious with lots of climbing and resting space. They really understand the needs of cats and provide great spaces for them while away from home. They seemed very happy. The staff was great and very helpful. 18$/night for two cats was very reasonable; overall I was very happy with my experience and their stay.

I would rank them even lower than one star if I could.My family was evacuated due to the fires on Chehalem mountain on the evening of 9/7, and on Wednesday 9/8, we took our five cats to Country Kitty, we didn’t know when we would be able to return home safely. Jack assured us that they would be safe and taken care of, and my family went to our respective hotels and to work. On the morning of 9/9, my partner received a phone call from Country Kitty, so I called them back to find out what was happening. I was informed that one of our cats had escaped and was nowhere to be found.They had placed three intact-clawed cats in an enclosure with only a screen door between them and their “inescapable” outdoor run and then left them there without checking on them for at least 16 hours. Jack informed us he had checked on them at 4pm on Wednesday, only four hours after I dropped them off, and then did not look in on them again until the morning. The phone call came in around 9am on Thursday.I sent my parents to pick up the remaining four cats. Three of the cats, including the missing one, are theirs, and two are mine. The missing cat belongs to my father, who is absolutely devastated by this. When they arrived, understandably upset by the situation, instead of giving them an apology, Jack begancomplaining about the damage to the screen door. One single live trap was set in the yard behind the enclosure the cats were in.My partner and I returned to Country Kitty today with some of my father’s worn clothing to bait live traps, and again Jack met us with nothing but rudeness and attitude. It took nearly an hour of argument for him to agree to purchase more live traps to set around the property.We came to Country Kitty in a crisis and trusted them to care for our animals, who to us are as important as human family members. A screen door is completely inadequate as a barrier to keep clawed cats indoors, and he also had been planning to let my indoor-only cats out into the outdoor run that has no top enclosure without informing or asking me if that was okay. The outdoor run has no top covering, and the only means of keeping cats from jumping out is that the top of the fence is folded back in towards the center of the enclosure. However, in the middle of the run within easy jumping distance of the folded back part of the fence, is a tall climbing structure, which is obviously how our cat got out. Also, in the middle of a crisis where there are active fires and smoke everywhere outdoors, one would think that taking all precautions to keep animals inside would be at the forefront of a boarding service’s policies. And even with all of this notwithstanding, not checking on the animals for SIXTEEN HOURS is completely unacceptable.Do not take your cats here. Ever.

Always reliable & run by a cat-lover, Country Kitty is my go-to place when I need to board my cat for any length of time. Cookie, the owner, is wonderful, always remembers my husband and me, and loves cats. Cookie goes the extra mile to make sure my cat is comfortable by, for example, letting her go on walk-abouts and providing blankets, baskets and scratching posts. She also takes the time to send me emails while I am away to let me know how my cat is doing.Country Kitty has large boarding areas for one or multiple cats, and even has a safe enclosed area for cats that enjoy the outdoors.I always feel 100% confident leaving my cat at Country Kitty.

what an absolute disaster, they have completely made a bad situation worse , I hate that I even have to leave 1 star.. They failed at their only job, they lost a very beloved family cat, lied about the enclosure it was in, then they failed to really apologize or help try to find the cat, Their poor business behavior followed by outright rude communication towards fire crisis victims - now missing a pet - has our community in shock and outrage. Their outdoor animal area is simply a chain link fence with no type of top, it is NOT secure for cats, they will bail out of there quickly and easily, this company will not help you to find them after you basically pay to lose your pet. Animals are afraid right now and these people are clearly NOT in tune. I can only imagine what other neglect is potentially happening at this point with how these people have acted after outright losing the cat AND being unkind towards people who are escaping a massive disaster.. They have lied about the security and safety of their animals and they will not treat you right if they lose your pet 10/10 would not trust this behavior DO BETTER

Unprofessional. Had trouble following simple feeding instructions. Cat lost a significant amount of weight during stay. Awful customer service, owner once ranted and raved at me on the phone about how she wasn't effectively managing her own employees, like that was somehow an acceptable excuse.... This came after she lost my cat's container and one of her employees ensured me they had it and that it would be returned by mail. At every turn her employees would tell me one thing and she would tell me another. There is obviously a startling lack of communication going on in this business.

I have used Country Kitty Kondo for years now.It is very clean, organized and thorough.Each kitty has there own little place, some with outdoor porches.I can go on a trip with No worries about my babies when they are here.

They lost a friend's cat that they had boarded due to fire evacuations (after not checking on the cat for 16 hours), and have been nothing short of hostile with my friend and her efforts to relocate her cat.I would never trust this place with the safety of my cat.
