Most people just drive by this spot, I know I did for years. It is a must stop and enjoy location. We actually stayed here at Proposal Rock Inn, now a vacation rental property. You get Proposal Rock and the Neskowin Ghost Forest both at this spot. Low tide is definitely the best time to visit. You can walk all the way around Proposal Rock and over to the Ghost Forest.

Beautiful beach with a river and large rock out cropping in the middle. This little cove would be a great spot to spend the weekend. Several people where enjoying small bonfires on the beach. Parking seemed to be free i walked over to the ghost tree forest which required forging the stream.

Great beach for kids. Has a river that is good for wading and gets warm at low tide. Proposal rock is right on the beach and also accessible at low tide, opening up several caves and tide pools. Just down the coast from Pacific City, definitely a must see on the Oregon coast.

This beach is one of my favorites. There’s a really big River running straight through the beach into the ocean (around proposal rock). There’s a cool ghost forest of leftover trees mostly buried in sand. I love the beauty here, rain or shine.

I came here after scouring the pacific coast for good sea stacks to photograph. I have to say, the view at sunrise was surreal. Only 10 min north of Lincoln city, and well worth the stop, no matter what kind of beaches you love this place has it! Giant sand beach a quarter mile wide, huge seascapes, GHOST FOREST BURIED IN THE SAND, rocks, crabs, creeks, everything one could want. Even public restrooms in the parking lot and diners nearby. What more could you ask for?

The foggy haze that covers the entirety of this site is breathtaking. My sister's boyfriend proposed to her at this location. The only real downside is that people let their dogs off their leashes and my youngest is deathly allergic to animals. We kept a very close eye on him.

This spot was on our way to where we were headed but we ended up stopping here for a quick restroom break and glad we did. Such a cute place. Didn’t get to explore it fully but it was nice to see it.

We got turned around mapping this way and that way, so just park at the Neskowin Trading Company and walk the trail to the water. At low tide, you can walk a long way and see all the "ghosts" of old trees. Beautiful views and a nice walk.

Great sand and vista views. Gradual slope to see makes for safer swimming. The climb/hike up Proposal Rock great for the hiker who likes some challenges...take the rope route up and the northern trail down.

You have to walk a little ways to get to it but it’s a beautiful hike with clear, clean and accessible path with fun little places to take pictures and explore. Beach is clean and pretty.

Quiet beach. Fun bouldering on Proposal Rock. Saw a bald eagle on the Rock. Came back several times to sit in the trees high on the island.

Super hard to get parking here but if you do the beach is awesome. Very pretty views, proposal rock, and ghost forest if you dare cross the only sometimes shallow crossing area.

It was my first time camping here.great people running that campsite when I bought my firewood the man delivered it on a golf cart right to our campsite. Camping literally 5 feet from the siletz river.Beautiful place I wish I would have known of it before.the people that run the campsite are amazing and have a little store with drinks and ice. I would give it more stars if I could.

Ghost forest when tide is really low. Relatively easy path to beach, but need to cross fairly shallow stream. Cross three times or cross once from the more challenging route, that goes uphill then down rock "stairs". Water was about mid-calf on adults; I took my shoes off. Beach is sandy and lovely. Fresh pastries at nearby bistro.

We had kind of a hard time finding it, and then there wasn’t much parking when we got there, but it’s a beautiful beach and the “Ghost Forest” was very fascinating to see!

Cool beach with an awesome history. 2000 year old tree stumps on the shore that were only discovered 20 years ago after a large storm system hit.

This is one of the most interesting and beautiful beaches I have visited. I hadn't expected the trees of the ghost forest to be so rich in intertidal life.

Great beach with easy access to parking. There are lots of old trees that make fantastic tide pools at low tide.

Beautiful beach with plenty of access points along the quaint neighborhood of beach houses and cottages. Nearby dining, coffee, and ice cream make this a great visit at any time of day or year.

Just a perfectly beautiful spot to watch the waves and relax. Do not feed the birds or you will regret it!

Go during low tide to see the Ghost Forest. Even though it is close to the road there is a lot of walking and you do have to cross a stream making it hard for handicapped or elderly

Close access to beach. Good views. Free parking if you can find a spot. Restrooms, tables, restaurants, stores, ice cream stand, even a farmer's market if you hit the right day in season. Good sand in most of beach, some spots with gravel/rocks. Some sea shells. Beach is larger than we expected. Cold water.

Really beautiful beach, good parking, and lots of nooks to explore. Best at low tide because there are a ton of old trees sticking out of the water.

I loved the Neskowin Ghost Forest. Go at low tide and be prepared to cross a small river to get there. The ancient trunks come in all shapes and sizes.

Beautiful beach! First trip to West Coast and this did not disappoint! The pines that surrounded coast line with mist were stunning. Saw starfish on the beach. I returned them to the sea if trapped. ❤️Clean bathrooms, clean beach and Loved the little store with lots of snacks, beverages and baked goods. Cute little town! Loved it!

One of my favorite beaches on the northern Oregon coast. Lots for kids to investigate and play. You have a creek for the kids and the ghost forest for adults (low tide). Then there is Proposal Rock for a backdrop.
