I want to give an appreciation shout out to Shawna who works at the Monroe, Oregon store. She went above and beyond with customer service when I was unexpectedly locked out of my car there. Her kind, helpful demeanor alleviated a stressful experience for me and she deserves all the kuddos for great customer service.

On my way from Eugene to Corvallis via 99w, I saw the new Dollar General, so I stopped in. I found lots of cute treasures to take to my bestie. The store was clean, nicely managed & highly organized. So many great & inexpensive deals. There's a lot of everything one would need or want. The Gentleman working was super kind & helpful too!

The employees here are the best! Through 2020 they continually had everything we needed and never made us feel unwelcome. I had never really spent anytime in a Dollar General prior to moving outside of Monroe. Thanks to the team and staff I continue to come back and enjoy shopping. Go small towns!

I love this store and the employees are so friendly and helpful, I bought some bad bacon one time, it was a little sour about a week before the expiry date and the exchanged me a fresh pack no questions asked. Thank you for upstanding service!

I will make this my go to store when traveling from Central Oregon to the Coast. The employees were welcoming. Clean store, clean bathroom and great traveling snacks. I’ll be back!

The DG in Monroe is like a main attraction in this lively town. Enough essentials to start a new home, very reasonable prices. Bed linens, toys, a variety of cleaning products, make up choices and food prices well for families and seniors. Staff is friendly, plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible too!

Must have been getting ready to re-stock. Shelves were a bit empty. In general prices are $3 and over with some items being kinda pricey for a $ store. Employees are always friendly and helpful.

Like a miniature Wal-Mart. Affordable prices, and a pretty good selection.Nice to see Monroe finally beginning to grow/blossom with new construction and businesses such as Dollar General.Convenient place to shop, giving Dari-Mart a little friendly competition in town.(long overdue)

Dollar General Was Great Addition To Monroe Oregon, Because Now We Have Another Store Besides The Dari Mart To Choose From. The Prices Are Way Better Than Dari Mart's And More To Choose From.

I have shopped many Dollar General stores in my time and this is by far the worst store. Their customer service is poor and they are rude and snide. I am a couponer and if I didnt know any better I would think my coupons were coming out of their pay check. Everytime I am here, I tell myself I will never return. Save yourself the headache and drive an additional 15min and go to Philomath . This store needs to be shut down. They make Monroe look bad

Dollar General is a great alternative to larger big box stores. Their digital coupons combined with their sales can equal insane savings and that is off low prices to begin with, not that trick where they overinflate prices to make your savings look huge. Absolute cheapest place to get Gain, when on sale combo it with digital coupon 25 load Gain detergent, for $1.95, as every blue moon $0.95!!! Gain dryer sheets, 110 count $2??? Whawhawhat??? Yes!!

Nice to have around for random things you might need. Not driving to want a bigger store to get is a plus. Pretty good prices on most items.

Anything at a good price is pretty much junkfood. I only ràn in for milk. If i want to save money on healthy food, my shopping is done at Safeway and Grocery Outlet.

Customer service is always very good . Having the store closest to us . Has been very helpful and needed ,prices and store items are very convenient and affordable..my favorite though is the very efficient and kind employees!!!

Because they only open Dollar General stores in small towns there may not be any other grocery store open and they have fairly decent prices overall. While travelling through one of these small towns the other day I stopped in with my grandson and he bought the last 20 or so packages of Pokemon cards they had... for $1/pkg

Anytime I go into the dollar general, everyone is so pleasant and helpful.I went on March 13 , with my baby grandson, The check out cashier was so helpful, she helped me with everything. A+. Thank you girls!!!
