This place had the best burger I've had in along time. The service was welcoming and pretty quick for the number of people that were there. They had no problem splitting an order for my wife and I. I was going to go home a different route, now I think I will make sure to swing by here again.

Neat souvenir shop with lots of affordable agates, geodes, and thunder eggs. Had a good conversation with the clerk, who pointed to two guys in their 90s on the porch and explained they found the geodes and agates we purchased.

I'm not going to sugar coat this. I was excited to pull over and get some nice pancakes after a long trip, but the second we walked in, we were greeted with the scowling face of our server who gave no effort to being even remotely friendly. This place was NOT charming, it was dirty but has potential to be cute. That was until I sat down to be greeted by 15 flies (I'm not even exaggerating, I counted them). The flies were nicer than our server. Looked over to see dusty, cobweb windowsill with, surprise, dead flies. The food was so-so if even that. Pancake was eh. I don't know what they consider "fresh fruit" because I got some cantaloupe, mushy strawberries, and a couple grapes that obviously came from some container that may have been fresh days ago. The kicker was when the flies started eating us alive, that's when we got the check and bounced fast. This place does not deserve the 4.5 stars it has because this experience was actually one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. The only part I can say was good was at least the cook responded to my "Have a good day!" in a friendly matter. Other than that, I wouldn't stop here again.

I can't remember the last time I had a burger this good. My wife and I split their basic burger and asked to have mushrooms substituted for the onions...no problem, no extra charge, just a smile and great service.

Amazing burgers. No really. AMAZING BURGERS.Pizza and fries are pretty basic.Onion rings are really good.Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall 5 stars.

My son and I rolled into TINY Mitchell just before 8:00 PM on a Friday night after visiting the Painted Hills. The Little Pine Cafe was the only sign of life, but the posted sign said they closed at 8:00. I asked if we could order food and said we would take it to go if they wanted to close up. Not only did the owner very graciously agree to make whatever we wanted, but she invited us to stay as long as we needed, saying, "you've gotta eat." Everything was wonderful and it's people like her and her cook who make me believe that people in Oregon as just plain nicer.

Lunch two days in a row, excellent burger, beer -battered cod, incredibly fresh dinner salad & great lemonade. Waitresses and cook (owner?) pleasant and caring.

We stopped for dinner after a day at the fossil beds, and stayed at a local motel. We enjoyed our meal so much, as well as the friendly staff, that we decided we had to go back for breakfast, so glad we did, loved the bisquits and gravy!!

Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, but the toasted cheese sandwich and the toasted cheese and tomato sandwich were both excessively greasy. We've had a lot better, but not much worse.

Double cheeseburger with pepper Jack cheese and fries. Couldn't have been any better. Ate with my mom and girlfriend and they had nothing but ooooohhhhhs ahhhhhhhs about how good it was. We will go back again.
