Love this place! We come over to Salem from Deschutes at least twice a month. We stop here to grab breakfast on our way. Sometimes we stop on the way back for something to drink on our way back home. We have never been disappointed. The people are friendly and attentive.

Good little corner market. Best cider and seltzer selection in the immediate area. Nothing extensive as far as meats or produce, but all of the basic necessities to make most meals.Also, damn good fried chicken. Make sure to call ahead for large orders, though, because lots of folks rely on being able to grab a quick piece and go!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Ive never met staff so incredibly rude. They treat their customers like dirt and when my husband asked if they have a certain type of liquor she says "we don't give that to people like you". Thats illegal??? This place needs to be shut down. We live locally and they treat everyone, multiple family members of mine, like trash. Hopefully this place gets a completely new staff and gets rid of the rude and heavy set woman. xoxo

For a place in a smaller town I love coming here. It has literally anything you can think of, and the prices aren’t bad. They have a great selection of ice cream and candy, and even the refrigerated items have a great selection.

Well, Tuesdays visit was normal, the cashier friendly. Today's visit was not pleasant. The cashier was rude and sarcastic. Coupon on package apparently was expired and she required repayment after she had charged my card. When I asked for a receipt, she asked, "for a dollar?" I was not given a receipt for my main purchase showing the coupon. I needed the receipt for budgeting. Her have a nice day basically told me where to go.

Great store, close to my campground, which was nice, didn't have to drive too far. The deli chicken was THE BOMB. Glad we found it. Had to go a little off the highway, which is weird that it's on the other side of the river, but a guy on the street told us how to get there. Nice town.

Expensive, prices are off, produce looks like it's rotten half of the time, damn near everything is expired. Some of the staff are awesome people, some aren't so great and will ignore you and chit chat instead of helping you. All but stopped going in since the dollar general was put up since the prices and cleanliness are 100x better. My brother went into the market today and bought a cake, it expired on April 1st. Over 20 days ago and it wasn't taken off of the shelf or reduced weeks ago for quicker sale. I'm guessing no one checks expiration dates that works there so beware.

Prices are a bit high, but it's convenient and the staff is extremely friendly. The store manager is just AWESOME!! I do a great deal of business there and would have to say it's a great little store overall.

Higher than average prices. It is good to have produce in a small town and has most of the necessities. Good quality steaks, decent hamburger and a friendly staff.

Was a nice little grocery store, albeit a little expensive, until they remodeled. Now it feels like a cheap mini mart. They've cut down on a lot of the stuff they carried and I'm really disappointed. It was the one grocery store nearby, and now I'll have to drive to Stayton or Salem.

This was brief visit and the shopping center was obviously new for the town. It looked just like it could have been anywhere America, Same shops selling the same stuff you can get in any shopping center anywhere. I really have yet to find a unique shopping area, other than historic downtown's, where most of the shopping is local mom and pop stores. You want different and local, shop in the older part of any town.

Been working HARD on weeding out all of the unnecessary riff raff that was clearly not their to improve things for our community. Also working HARD on making sure prices are fair, product is fresh, store is clean and everyone leaves happy. On that note...some people come in with the intention to complain NO matter what you say or do. Sure do have a heck of a crew now!

Thank you for being such great experiences I moved up here three months ago and I used to shop at Hilltop back about 1978 when I worked at Frank's lumber then.You all have been very nice to me and I probably will never move out of the area.See what being nice to people does now you're never going to be able to get rid of me (lol)

On the 11th Package of hamburger dated the 8th, cost was over 9 dollars and not marked down even though past sell by date. ONE orange colored bell pepper (not per pound, just ONE individual pepper) COST $3.59....WOW! Made of gold I guess....geezSpent 60 bucks on taco salad fixings and already had onion, and cheese. Ridiculous
