We were glad to find Manzanita food store while visiting Oregon coast. This place has nice selection, a lot of healthy, natural and vegan options. Pure local honey was available there. Customer service was excellent.

My family recently moved to Rockaway and were looking for good produce nearby, without having to drive to Tillamook, so we found this place. The produce is really fresh (other than their cilantro,) and nicely arranged. We picked out quite an assortment of produce, then made our way to checkout. There was no check stand opened, so we had to do self checkout. I asked the lady who was overseeing self check if she knew the codes for the produce items. She told me the first two, and when I asked her for the next one, she said "look it up." She wasn't busy AT ALL, and there weren't any other customers at the checkstands. I didn't have the option to go to a check stand with a cashier, and I had a lot of produce items, not to mention I'm paying nearly 25% more for them, than if I had gone anywhere else, and I'm forced to do self checkout, and she was absolutely no help...and rude. I was on a tight schedule, as we had company coming, and this experience added to our stress because it took us quite a while having to lookup every single item. I will never give my business to this place again. I've worked in customer service for 40 years, and honestly this was one of the worst I've seen. Sometimes it doesn't matter how good your product is, if you fail at customer service!

I was recovering from a heart attack, homeless and living in my car. Owners called the police on me and stated I was coughing and that I said I had COVID to have me trespassed from the store. This was quite dispicable. The bottom line is that they did not want me in the store to buy food because I was a local homeless person struggling to survive.

This is a great little store for all the odds and ends that you need while you're out camping or at the state parks. Staff has always been friendly and courteous and more than willing to help find the stuff that we needed. Okay right off Highway 101 and Manzanita Boulevard.

Great selection of items and friendly staff. I've been here three times on trips down the Oregon coast and it's definitely one of if not the best Grocery stores heading down the coast through Oregon. Plus, a pretty decent beer selection is always a plus. I originally did a 4 star review sans comments but after seeing the owners comment I realized I made a mistake as I definitely meant to make it a 5 star review.

Been a local here for 3 years, finally had to write something because the hot bar items are so bad they'll make your brain bleed. At least when I first moved here they had fried chicken every now and then! Instead for example I just bought a $5 "chicken & cheese" sandwich that looked like my 2 year old slapped it together for me as a joke. I'm posting this with a heavy heart because I have a soft spot for everything in this region, but Manzanita straight up deserves better.Bring the prices down where you can; make sure half the items aren't about to expire; and improve the hot bar quality, and I'm all in again.

Love this place! They even had a bottle of Schramsburg champagne! Nice selection for a little boutique grocery store. Staff were super friendly even when we didn’t wear our masks! Glad they were welcoming and flexible, we will definitely return!

Love this store. If your traveling down, or up the coast . Great place to get fresh local produce, meat, chicken. If your going to the beach, you can pick up deli items like, sandwiches, cheese, deli meats. I stop at the liquor store inside the market. They have an am assortment of rum, tequila, vodka, etc. they have a fantastic selection of wine. And a large beer cooler. Local and international beer. You will be surprised! Coffee selection is impressive. Plenty of parking. Easy access. And very friendly staff. And one other thing. They get some fantastic fresh fish delivered! Check it out! I come daily. I live 2towns over. See you there!

Fresh Foods is a place where I have only had positive experiences. Whether that was buying groceries, renting the carpet cleaner, or conversations at the check out, all were positive experiences. It is strange to have such a pleasant time at a grocery store, and I thought they were worth the minutes to write this post. Thank you Fresh Foods!

An amazing selection of "other than usual" fare. Tasty imported meats and cheeses sold along side local delicacies. The best selection of beer I've found in the area. A tiny gem with a trove of delights. I believe there is something here for everyone. I will visit often!

Vacationing from Colorado in Rockaway Beach, stumbled on your store. We love the quality and selection of items. The seafood and produce are amazing and the employees are pleasant and very accommodating. We have been back 3 times due to the quality of food that beats any restaurant in the local area. We find ourselves cooking every day. Thank you for doing such a great job!!

Very friendly staff with small town kinda vibe, you’ll get a head nod back if you head nod them. Best rewards back. Amazing chocolate selections. If you’re looking for Freddie’s or Safeway that’s in Tillamook or Seaside. But Fresh Foods staff will help you out if you need directions.

I've been to this store twice, and have been wowed by the selection. The prices, although a bit more than other places, were well worth it for the quality of products. They have locally made items which were absolutely fantastic. My previous visit, I selected a pre-made sandwich, which was absolutely fantastic; the ingredients fresh and flavorful. This time, I bought some steaks, locally made jams/curd, local chocolate milk, and some dressing. Everything I bought was absolutely stellar, delicious, and well worth the trip. I couldn't reccommend this place enough, and will come back as often as I can. Thank you!

What I like is a fair selection of vegan meats, cheeses, frozen food, etc. They do a pretty good job for a smaller store. What I don't like is the self check out - last time I was there there were no cashiers and I had a guy watching me at self checkout like I was in cashier class. Just hire a cashier already!

A good selection of local goods plus basic staples for your typical PNW shopper. Prices are a bit higher but it’s expected for a coastal (mostly tourist) town. Staff was very friendly too!

What a lovely little grocery store! I feel like many beach grocery stores aren't well stocked, aren't well maintained and are super over priced. This one had everything we were looking for and then some, and it even has a little liquor store section! It's separate (but inside of) the store because Oregon, but its so convenient!! I wish all stores were like that!

Great place to shop, very....very...very clean. True prices are a little steep here and there, but it's the beach folks and this place has some quality food/merch. I love the baked goods here. Had some pumpkin brownie/cake with cream cheese frosting that was AMAZING.
